Actually heres my twist on the adsense issue.
What i mean is i use adsense as..well i have coined it "adsense borrowing" where the articles are very targeted to products. Then using adspytracker i can see what people are clicking on....specifically WHAT ads. You'd be surprised how well google bot serves up the best ads for 'good' content. Then i FLIP my site and create another site using articles on just that AD that got the most clicks....and you know what happens?
The ad ends up being a merchant with a signup (or goto shareasale & look for similar offers).......SO rather than getting a few cents for adsense and google get the signup fee ($10 in some cases) my article will be about THAT MERCHANT because it obviously converts....and instead of adsense on the page ( WHICH I BORROWED TO SEE WHO CONVERTS) i swap out the adsense for my own ADS ( all 3 ads are mine of course and upzee goes the click-rate because they read the 'targeted' article talking about the product mentioned in MY ADS....heehee!!

Hope this helps someone else out. But i agree that unless your prepared to write...give up the adsense fight (hey that rhymes..i might use it ;?)

I want to take a crack at this. can you point me to a template that I can use that is like yours. Html is fine, a wordpress template would be even better.

If you don't want to post it a PM would be great. Any tips at all as to where i can find a template to use that will do what you talk about in the video would be really appreciated.

I use Xsite Pro. You don't really need a template though. That demo site is really just
a side nav space, main area, and header space, with color.

Your sites can be much prettier than that.

I'm not familiar with excite pro. I'm really only familiar with wordpress. I don't know much about designing a template from scratch. Is excite pro really worth it for me to buy it? I'm not sure how I would design a wordpress template with the different layout for the article pages from the category pages.

SEO is more my thing. I'm not so good with design. Any thought?

I think maybe the site has changed. this doesn't seem to be a wordpress site and it doesn't have the category pages that you talked about. In fact most of the links seem dead. Unless I'm mistaken.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's now against Google TOS to put ads directly under the title of your article. I used to build all my sites using this template with a very good CTR of 30%-60% but I got an email from Google that I had to make the necessary changes, so my ads are now directly above my title. CTR has gone down a bit though.

1) Always do your due diligence: Read Google's blog, contact Google themselves for
such questions.

2) Never copy what someone else does if it does not feel right.

3) Do copy what someone else does if it is making money and you have
done your due diligence.

Hey its no problem really, just that it would be better for you to get more exposure
to your questions other than this thread, and by other experienced Adsense publishers.

But about the layout, there really is no one "best way". I've toyed around with so many
different placements and even though my 1 large ad block placement does well for me,
it may not work with all niches.

The only way to know for sure how things are working is to start a project, get at least
20-50 articles on the site and work up to 15-20 unique visitors per day.

Then when you see clicks, change something up, take notes, change something up again,
take more notes, etc. until you are settled on the best performing set up.

This is what is meant when everyone says to "test test test", while at the same time you
will be making money.

Your conversion is much better as they have tens of thousands pages indexed, i just checked

1) Those other sites may not convert as high but you have to understand
most of those bigger sites never really meant every page to make money.
That canine site was just a hobby for the owner and that mold site did not
put adsense on it until this year, although it was running since the 90s.

2) I get about 38,000 uniques per month to my health site. Some of my 900+ pages do
not get any visitors every day, some get about 10-30. It varies so much.

Also I think that was a masterclass in how to produce an instructional video. Nothing flashy, not flying about all over the place and nice narration.

Yes those were the days. Although I missed the opportunity to throw up thousands
of keywords, scrape some content and make $15,000 per month, soooooo many people
did though - good for them!

Yes I still have Astracker installed, but you are right as the last time I checked
it does not seem to be working properly.

I don't agree with one of your advice. I won't say what is that so I don't give away a part of your course. In my testing I found out that that thing was not true. I did in my first month 400/day with over 55% ctr with one website.

And you even see that is not true in the examples you are giving there.

And the video is not a course, just me sharing how I personal set up my sites
and the 1-adblock layout that has worked the best for me.

Hey Xfactor,

I bought your WSO recently and started doing some experimenting. I went from about 10 cents a day to making 7.64 today as a result of taking action after watching your video. Now this was a big jump and partially due to the fact that a bunch of my ezine articles just dropped, and in all honesty, 7 bucks certainly doesn't justify the time put in so far, but I can definitely see how this could add up over time. I'm sure I have a lot of work to do before 7 (and hopefully a lot more) becomes my daily average but it was still pretty cool to log on and see dollars coming in instead of cents.

I think 7.64 in a day within a week of setting up a brand new sit is pretty darn good for someone just starting with adsense so well done, and thanks. The video is well worth it to anyone else considering buying it.
