Hey Steve. Got some questions. First of all, I know how you do this because I do video marketing myself, but don't worry, I'm not going to give anything away in my questions...promise. I was watching one of your videos, where you were showing your video searches and how you were in the top 5 spots for many searches. While that may seem impressive on the surface, if you pause the video and take a look at the actual number of views you received, they are very few, certainly not enough to generate any kind of substantial traffic that is going to lead to any real sales. So my question is this, and again, I will try not to give anything away in the question itself. Can your system generate the kind of substantial views that you see in some of the really popular videos at YouTube? You know the ones I am talking about. The ones with well over 100,000 views. I know why you're in the top spots and I don't see that happening with the niches that are going to bring people in those kind of views. Again, I don't want to give anything away here, but I am concerned that this method will lead to top spots without leading to any real traffic. If you can answer this question without giving anything away, I'd appreciate it. As a video marketer myself, you can understand why I am skeptical given the number of views that I saw for your videos. So again, my question is simple. Can I get 100,000 views or more in a short period of time in highly competitive niches? Thanks for responding to this inquiry. |

Hey Steven, Let me first say you have some very good legitimate questions, and I appreciate you bringing them up because it allows me to make some points I would love to respond with. First off, yes I can easily and routinely achieve top spots for several keywords at a whim, as you saw, and yes they work in every niche I've ever attempted. The results that I demonstrated this with (that you saw in those videos) I did with the internet marketing niche (all within 30 minutes of work I might add, the rest of the work was in recording the results). I'm going to be dead honest, I do not rely on YouTube for marketing to the IM niche as far as traffic goes. Yes, I do use it but I wouldn't say YouTube users are going to be searching all day for IM related topics. There's some traffic, mostly it's minimal in my experience, but yes it's still on autopilot, and it still delivers me sales everyday. You can see that IM isn't very hot on YouTube by just taking a look at internet marketers' YouTube channels that internet marketing isn't hot on YouTube. All this said (and that's a big "secret" that clears a big myth I hope), I have achieved a LOT of traffic in my other niches with videos (in the ten thousands routinely), a couple niches in specific. I have never revealed these niches nor do I plan to anytime soon, sorry if that's vague. But these same exact principles that I teach (and that you seem to already know) do work -- in the right niche. This is key. If you apply this to a niche on YouTube that nobody on YouTube cares about (or few), you are obviously going to get small amounts of traffic. Bottom line, I do not recommend people looking for "massive" amounts of traffic in the internet marketing niche to rely solely on YouTube to deliver that traffic. It's not going to happen (in my experience), but I'd love to be proven wrong of course. If you're marketing on YouTube with another niche that you think is hot, these tactics I'm teaching are going to be exactly what you need. I hope that helps Steven! Hey Gipjo, Yes, what it comes down to with holding a high ranking on any result, whether it be YouTube, Google, Yahoo, etc. is that if the searches aren't there, you're going to make less sales, and if very few searches are there, chances are you're going to make few sales. Of course, if you rank for intent-to-buy keywords, you will convert better with less traffic, which I've experienced. But generally it works the other way most of the time. Now if your problem is that you dominated for a 2 word keyword on Google that brought a lot of traffic yet you had no sales, then the problem sounds like a conversion issue. That's another subject, and I'd focus on working on your sales conversion on the page. Thanks for your question! - Steve |
