Just purchased with rights. Is your estimate to have all but module 5 delivered by the end of this week, still? And what about module 5? |

I wanted to add. This first video was pretty good. I've been through it and from someone who's in the middle of developing a very large and in-depth Membership Training program I'm happy with the content of video 1. I hope the other videos are just as good. Thanks Noah |

Hey everyone thanks for your patience on this, the Module 1 upload failed overnight so I've just kicked it off again. (Anyone know a good reliable ftp program for mac?) If all goes well it will be up in a few hours. Dennis, yes still aiming to have everything done by the weekend. Uploading them has been the biggest issue so far! Alan can you please PM me the email address you used to purchase, I can't find that transaction id in the system. Noah, glad you liked the first video -- and that's only the introduction, I haven't even started on the real content yet |

Due to the large file sizes I'm going to also export the videos to flv files -- the quality won't be quite as good as the mov but they will be about half the size. You can choose which ones to download/sell or offer both to your customers as well. |

Kyle, you're the marketer of the month with this bonanza. Is anybody really worried about getting their money's worth with this Pre-Release WSO? For $67, you'd have to track me down to get back those resell rights. And I DON'T live in Australia. Thanks for Christmas in November! |

| I agree w/PatC. When you reference a website, resource, or statistic in a video, it's hard to find it again if you didn't make a note of it. I think video has a flaw in that you can't easily search and find the text you're looking for.

Hi Dennis I do apologize for the delay, I emailed everyone last night with an update -- I've significantly expanded the content and am re-shooting modules 2 & 3 with extra step-by-step demonstrations and further explanation of core concepts. Because of this (and the download link issues which took an entire day to resolve) I am 2 or 3 days behind schedule. The core modules (1-5) will be completed tomorrow. The bonus module, depending on how much editing is needed will take another day or two, and the transcripts will be posted as soon as my team has them done. Again I apologize for the delay and promise the product will be much better for it -- I'd rather get it right than simply rush it out the door. Regards Kyle |

You could do what Web 2.0 companies do: rush out a half-baked ("beta") product and then fix it later... but for this kind of thing, I'd rather a high quality product. I love pre-release special offers. -Pat. P.S. I don't need to hassle you about transcripts, you already know how keen I am!

Seriously, part of me is wondering why you launched this WSO before having everything finalized. This isn't time-sensitive material you're covering so I don't understand. ![]() To be honest, my opinion after viewing Modules 1 and 2 are not favorable. I mean no offense by my comments but I want to express my thoughts regarding the current content and lack of the remaining modules and transcripts.

Hi Travor Sometimes it feels like it! I'm actually on ADSL and my downloads fly, but uploading is painfully slow and often fails. I'm not sure if my ISP is throttling uploads or if there is some configuration issue on my end, but uploads are currently the bane of my existence. Quote:
And I take no offense, part of the reason for releasing this as a WSO first is to get feedback from the market and improve everything for version 2 (which of course you get.) So all feedback is welcome and encouraged -- and so far it has been all good. As I mentioned in the videos, these first modules are the gruntwork -- they're not sexy, there's nothing particularly "new" in them -- but the steps I'm giving you are the same ones I use to create sites that bring in tidy profits every month, and it's the same system being used by at least 3 different 6-figure membership sites. I hope the slower than expected rollout doesn't put a sour spin on the actual content, because it's solid stuff and works. If there is anything in particular you think is missing or could be done better please shoot me an email and you can bet I'll make sure it's up to standard in version 2. Regards Kyle

Thanks for your kind reply and for not taking offense to my critical post. The above statement I quoted speaks volumes: it's so easy for me to criticize a product, program, course, etc. It would be best for me to shut up because I don't like the taste of the foot in my mouth! ![]() Thanks again and I look forward to that six-figure income. Ummm, I meant the remaining content as well as v.2!

Kyle, I've built memberships sites, so unlike others I am not trying to private label your offering. I'm just interested on your take on memberships. While the videos are simple I have found some good points in there that got me thinking. Not bad for $27 IMO. I understand what you are doing with this WSO. It is the same thing you are suggesting we do - create a small test product, launch and see if people buy. If they do, enhance/finish the product over time and increase marketing. My question is: how do you determine if the test product is worth expanding on if you get a few sales? What if only a few people buy - you still have to provide (finish) the product for them, but might not get that many more sales. Just wondering what the criteria for "success" would be for a test product - I know you still have to do the marketing video. Did you include all the information points you mentioned in the modules? PS What sold me on your pitch was the module outlines showing the content. This might be different from others who go for the over-hyped sales copy. But I might be jaded after all these years |

Hi Will Good to hear the someone who already has membership site experience is getting something out of the course! Quote:
Just because you planned to have a membership site with 5 years of content doesn't mean you have to go ahead with that plan if it doesn't work out as expected. Membership sites come and go all the time, your only obligation is to deliver each months content. Second, from my experience, as long as you've selected a good niche and have a product similar to one that is already selling in the market, then... If you can sell 1 membership, you can sell 10. And if you can sell 10 you can sell 100. It's just a matter of testing your sales process and driving more traffic. Hope that helps Kyle p.s. I'm 99% sure I've included all the information the bullets mentioned -- the bullets were written from my mindmap of the course, and the content was created from the same mindmap ![]() p.p.s You just gave me a really good idea for another module -- I'll have to add it to version 2.

Thanks for replying and glad I could inspire some new ideas! I recently created a membership site for learning lead guitar with no scales or modes (subniche-ing the guitar lesson niche). I went for the full sytem with forums, login etc because teaching is a lifelong passion of mine. I haven't marketed it much (focused on the content too much) but am starting now. I have one sale so far and people have bought some of my previous e-products. There's definitely a market for this. I have over two hundred thousand views of my free lessons and people seem to dig them. There are so many points of failure I guess, failure to market, failure of ads/headlines, failure of sales pages, failure of offer, failure of content. I look at my struggle as a challenge to figure the magic words, offer, etc to trigger the sales because I believe in the value of the teaching approach. I plan to split my courses into smaller autoresponder e-courses to test the viability of each individual topic/subniche. My software allows me to create modules for this purpose and tie into the autoresponders, while protecting the content. I wanted to teach others like you how I set up my membership site, but I'm thinking of focusing on a subniche due to competition. |

Learn guitar is a cool niche, competitive but with the right hook you can make really good money. Just took a look at your site, I've no doubt your content is great but your copy is letting you down. Check out some hot guitar niche copy here: OHP Guitar - Guitar Instruction - Killer Pro Soloing - Tony Burnett - Shredding - Fret Flyer - Guitar Instruction - Video Instruction - Learn How To Play Guitar - Play Guitar Now you'll probably have a different tone and won't be as full on, but notice how it's all focused on benefits and getting your emotions all riled up. Whereas your copy has lots and lots of features but never really sells me on the benefits. The marketing module is coming up next so go through that and it will give you some good ideas on how to quickly improve your conversions. Then shoot me an email if you have any more questions. |

Thanks a lot for the link and your input. I'll use it as an example when I do some sales letters. I look forward to the marketing video. Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the overhyped sales letter - shred in 5 minutes with absolutely no effort involved! and other bs either appealing to the 'laziness' or greed factors, but I'll give them a shot and test with adwords. I just created some google ads and am starting to see the free opt-ins kick in. Tons of work to do! Will |

Here's an almost finished sample: onlineguitarcoaching [dot] com [/] squeezepage I want to try variations - with video, with pay only option, etc as well. Will |

Hi Kyle, It's been a couple of weeks since I purchased...any chance this will be completed soon so we can actually resell this? Note my original post here - saying I thought selling a WSO that wasn't even done yet was against the rules....now we know why since it's 2 weeks for this one and still don't have it... I have patience but damn.... You wanna buy my product? Just send me the money now, and I'll send bits and pieces to you over the coming WEEKS ok? If you get tired of waiting, just come back here and post again...or you can send me emails, but I'll keep telling you "tomorrow", so don't bother.... Does that make any sense to YOU if YOU were the customer? |

I agree with Ken, this is the 2nd such WSO that I've purchased in the last couple months that ended up like this. The first one was a PLR package and evidently the seller didn't have trustworthy people he was outsourcing to, that was even more ridiculous than this one. But still, I almost didn't buy into this one because of the many testimonials about the integrity of the seller. I have no clue how someone can expect to build or maintain a good reputation when resorting to these tactics. There is no excuse in my mind to be selling something that can't be delivered, unless they're selling a "follow along" type of course. Sure, someone can't expect to be slowed down by illness, FTP problems, outsourcer problems, hard disk failures, equipment malfunctions, etc., and that's exactly why no product should be released before it's ready to be released. |

I'm assuming this was released trying to capitalise on the Ryan Deiss membership site course, and therefore was promoted before it was complete. I like what I've seen, and for the money is very good value, but I agree that it's a bit frustrating starting a course but not being able to follow it all the way through because it hasn't been finished. |

It's especially frustrating because the promised sales letter hasn't been delivered yet. Not that I'd sell something incomplete, but still, it would allow us to get started with customization of the contents/sales material.
