My tolerance for delay is higher due to my circumstances... I haven't bought re-sell rights. My time has flown on other matters, so I didn't realise it was so many weeks.

You guys are right, the schedule really has blown out. The difference between "buy at a pre-release price and wait two weeks" and "pay early and don't get it for a month" is big, isn't it?

Weekend is over, where's the email? Forget the extra bonus, what's the status on the live example bonus?

I also noticed last night that the final workbooks have been uploaded. Where's the email about that? It only takes a second to fire off a quick email to your list.

I find the lack of communication more frustrating than anything else. I have no problem waiting for as long as it takes, but please just let us know what's going on.

Hey Guys

I only just got notification of updates to this thread so sorry for not replying sooner.

I completely understand everyone's frustration, I've made promises I have
not been able to keep and am way behind on getting this thing wrapped
up.

I'm not one to air my personal issues in public, suffice to say I've had
a pretty rough few weeks and the delays on this product are just
the icing on the cake. If I had known what these few weeks were going
to be like I would not have released the product, but I have and I'm
doing my best to get it done.

All the core modules are there -- The transcripts, salesletter and bonus module are still to come. I know this means resellers cannot currently resell the product and this frustrates me like hell -- My word is my bond and I know if I don't have that I don't have anything.

I'm working on the salesletter and bonus module right now and my
transcription team said they'll have those to me this week. (Though that's what they said last week as well -- but it's not like I have a leg to stand on in that regard.)

Again I apologize and take full responsibility for the delays, and I
understand if you'd simply prefer a refund -- no hard feelings. I don't
want you to feel like you got ripped off cause if you know me you know
that's the last thing I'm about.

The "delay bonus" -- which I apparently forgot to actually "queue" in aweber -- is the original product I had wanted to release, a $497 membership site home study course.

If you got personal rights then you'll get a free copy of the course, and if you got resell rights then you'll get resell rights to the course.

That course will expand on what I've touched on in OMS and go into much more depth, have salesletter templates, website templates, cheat sheets etc.

I know it doesn't make up for the delays on this product but hopefully it takes the sting out just a little.

Thanks for the update Kyle. Your honesty is appreciated and shows that you're a stand-up kind of guy.

It might be a good idea to take your post and send that out as an email. I'm sure many people are unable to find this thread still and would appreciate it.

First part of the Bonus Module was uploaded last night. New transcripts uploaded a few minutes ago. Got the graphics for the salesletter last night and they look great. Working on the final part of the bonus module.

Yes it will have a salesletter. No you cannot sell it for less than $497. The full course will be the only big product I launch in the IM market during the first quarter of 09 and I will not risk devaluing it with resellers cutting prices.

I have not decided on the logistics of the course yet, but to preserve the value of the course I might simply set everyone up as a private JV partner who gets 100% commissions.

This way I control the price (and preserve the value for everyone), can provide a centralized testing ground (constantly improving conversions for everyone), and can take care of all the technical support (saving everyone time and effort.)

The course is all mapped out but not developed. I decided to launch this smaller course in it's place. Once I've sorted out the logistics I'll let you know when/how you can get access etc.

I updated my sales copy to hype the emotions of learning guitar and said you could learn lead guitar 'almost overnight' etc. Somebody emailed me yesterday saying I was a fraud for talking about 'secrets' and 'almost overnight'. I guess I'm an official Internet Marketer now!

Look, as long as your product can do what you say it can, then don't worry about people like that -- treat it as a good sign that people are getting emotional when they read your copy.

I'd rather 2 people love me because I changed their lives, and 1 person hate me because they don't believe I can, than no one even know me at all

This is a cool idea. I've spent a fair bit of time downloading all the files and then re-uploading them to my own site, but not as much as creating the actual videos

Any idea on what we can do for to market PPC considering the top google keywords are over $4-5 per click?

First of all, run - don't walk - and get your hands on James Schramko's Double Digit CTR - Pay-Per-Click Get Double Digit Click Thru Rates with PPC Campaigns (Non-aff). It's an absolute bargain and James will save you months of testing, thousands of dollars in wasted clicks, and fast track your PPC success by months.

The bottom line is there are not many markets left where you'll be able to make money simply bidding on generic keywords (e.g. "membership site"). To make good money with PPC you've got to think a little outside the box and really have your PPC game on.

Much as I'd love to see the sales copy, I'd much rather see the rest of the transcripts, at least then I could write my own sales copy to tide me over.

But I can't sell 90% of a product whether I have sales copy or not.

Do you link to it in your other pages, in the menu, etc?
Do you add links to the sales page to improve quality score?

Any other thoughts on how to use the sales page?

Hey guys, sorry for not seeing this sooner... for some reason I'm not getting updates on this thread even though I'm subscribed???

As noted in my last email, the only thing I'm still waiting on is the remaining transcripts. My transcriptionist is usually awesome but is driving me bonkers on this one.

I've contracted the project out to 2 other providers as well, so hopefully one of them is going to get them done real soon.

Will, one of the most effective ways to promote the salesletter is to pre-sell the product on your blog then direct link over to the salesletter.

Keep the salesletter just how it is, no outgoing links other than the order buttons. (The only thing you might want to add is your own privacy policy, terms of service etc.)

Just to be clear for those coming late to the party, this WSO has been completed for a number of weeks. It's been closed for a while now and resellers are happily selling the product if you still want to get it.

These later comments about Ken/Dylan have nothing to do with me or this WSO and don't belong on the forum, let alone this thread.
