Sean is excellent explaining SEO to anyone regardless of your level of understanding. I've bought all of Sean's courses and what I love is his ability to teach, always up to date, and always works and he's a cool guy too. I'm 32 minutes in, and got so excited about the simplicity and power of what he showed us that I just had to pause to post a rave review. I've been taking notes, and plan to immediately use his very doable strategy for easily getting lots of high quality backlinks right away.

I loved his candor, after showing us how he got a client's site to page one with this one easy strategy, and said "I wish I could make it seem more complicated, but really, that's all I did". Very nice; we all love simple and effective, right?

I really think it might me take all day to watch this video, as I'm still less than 1/3 of the way through, and am seriously tempted to just stop the video so I can immediately try out what I learned!

This could easily be applied, not just to clients websites, but to your own sites selling your products, affiliate products, or just building your list with freebies-that's the beauty-once you learn how simple it is, your head will be spinning with ways to monetize it. This is a video of an artists work that can be of benefit to have worldwide SEO... does Sean go through this amount of work to improve local businesses listings?
Is all of this necessary for local business listings when they can easily use "Google Places" (or is there more to it than that?), or is this video targeting those who are going more for worldwide Google domination?

I suggest taking exhaustive notes-the first technique alone is totally doable and will make you something of an "expert" if you approach it patiently, but you might have to do as I did, and repeatedly back it up to make sure you copy the exact information he's giving you. It's very powerful stuff, and I think you can understand and use it if you do as I suggest. SEO has been totally over my head too, but don't feel you have to really understand the entire subject, nor all his terms-just copy him exactly for one technique at a time, and it will work.

It will definitely have good results for your local market-they will get more traffic by ranking high for local search terms, and those will be far easier to rank for than the very competitive examples.

This is not necessary for local businesses, but could be a powerful tool in your arsenal. It's worth taking the time-you just have to get beyond the intimidation factor-be gentle with yourself, take breaks, and don't fret if it takes you an hour to go through 5 minutes of it-that hour and the steps you'll learn from that 5 minute chunk could change your life.

You should also of course, help your clients rank in the local search results-getting to the top isn't too hard.

Also, FYI in the course I will be showing another way to find the sortable PR on potential backlink opportunities that are scraped directly with your FF browser using another plugin for those that aren't into buying another piece of software for that part of the operation.
