In the admin config screen each site has a link to the sign up page and hints next to any complex fields so everything should be as easy as possible to setup.

It'll work for any post you've made. Just go to edit post and "click here to syndicate" (top right corner).

Just don't syndicate everything in one sitting or the web2.0 sites may moderate you for spam. This isn't about spamming content/backlinks everywhere!

You're buying a multi-site personal use license. So you can use it on as many blogs as you want so long as you own them.

I have to admit when I first heard about this plugin (through John's charity thread) I wasn't sure what I would do with it. However I volunteered to beta test WP Syndicator and now I can't imagine living without it. This is one of the few products in IM you can't go wrong with – it is cheap (way too cheap in my opinion but Andy has already had an earful about that ), it is easy – you'll be up and running with this straight away once you've set up the accounts and best of all, it works – I have already seen an increase in traffic from the sites in the plugin and that was just from haphazard posting done for testing purposes. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

I was given the opportunity to beta test WP Syndicator, and I tested it pretty hard on both a brand new blog and an existing site with lots of old posts.

First off, the plugin is simple to install. Then, after you create accounts on the Web 2.0 platforms, you're done. From this point on, it works seamlessly in the background. The best part is that as you create new posts, it does all of the work in the background. You don't have to enter a captcha or wait for it to run through the sites. It just works.

What I really like about this concept is that every time you create a new post, that post (page) gets 15 real backlinks. These aren't like social bookmarks that will simply help you get indexed. These syndicated posts can also bring in visitors and will help each of your pages rank.

Andy asked what I thought the program was worth, and I was stunned when he told me what the price would be for this fundraiser. It really is a must-buy for anyone who uses Wordpress sites as part of their business.

The syndication is automatic but you have to select a post and "click here to syndicate". The syndication is deliberately not connected to the posting function because that'll just lead to a load of spammy content on web2.0 sites that will just get moderated away.

So yes, it'll work with an autoblog but probably not in the way you want it to.

That's not your fault, that'll be due to a bug in my code. I'm working on a fix now.

In the meantime you should be able to go to the accounts screen and disable Twitter and still syndicate to the other sites.

For everyone else, please note the Twitter integration has worked well for a lot of people, so this isn't going to affect everyone.

The content used is the same as on your blog so yes it's duplicated but this won't have any negative effect.

The duplicate content penalty is largely a myth designed to sell you article spinners

Awesome plugin. Unlike many automation tools that still require quite a lot of maintenance work, WPSydicator really is automatic. You set it up once (admittedly requires a wee bit of work) and then it's one click for the entire thing to do it's magic.

-Is there a guide for signing up to all the sites? Some sites are familiar to me, but I saw some sites on the salespage and I never heard of them, let alone API keys. I hope there is a tutorial how and where to sign up for all these sites and how to use the login details and where to get the API keys, Blog Prefix, Blog ID's etc.

-Does this also work for old (already posted) posts or 'just' for new posts?

I do have one suggestion for an improvement: Some of my blogs are setup to use pages instead of posts to resemble a minisite more than a blog. It would be great to be able to syndicate pages as well as posts.

Check out the "What is this?" link next to the Vox email box. It's a video showing how to get the email address to put in the box. It's a special Vox address that the plugin can send email to in order to syndicate the content there.

I just bought it too, for the price and considering it goes to charity, you cant go wrong.

Couple of things though...

Duplicate content is not just a myth designed to sell spinning software - although that's a great line Andy - so the backlink value of multiple identical articles will vary from site to site.

Some WILL get flagged as dup content, and shown by Google only when someone clicks to see the "omitted" Google results, which I consider to be sort of like the old supplemental results. As Andy says though -

In those omitted pages, any backlink value for you may be nominal or even discounted, but that doesn't mean it can't still drive traffic and build branding very well, which is a huge timesaver - and as Andy says... "yes it's duplicated but this won't have any negative effect."

On the other hand, you CAN also build a few decent links, because some of these sites that this plugin seems to post to, could have enough other varied content on the pages to be considered unique. There are a bazillion examples of ranking pages put together with rss feeds that prove this point - So that's another plus.

Anyway, I just bought it and will have to check it out - for $10 Asthma donation, that alone is worth the support~!

Definitely.

Personally I'd have one account for each blog you have. It's a bit of setup work but if you syndicate too much content to the same blogs they are just going to get deleted as spam.

This isn't supposed to be just a cheap way to pick up backlinks, you'll actually see traffic from these sites if you grow them properly.
