This video is one of the best I have seen for a long time. You watch the entire campaign being created and split tested and it really is an over the shoulder way of seeing how to make money.

I was especially interested in watching this video as i had never heard of the site it was using so was of great interest to me.

The adspend that Ran did was around $500 which is probably a realistic test but like with google you can state a maximum spend per day.

I use Plenty of Fish and I am in Peru.

No, the example given in this video was non dating related.

To see your ads, you'll need to create a user account with the same demographics you're targeting. PoF is relatively new so they don't have preview tools like adwords does.

How would you carry on if you wanted to continue promoting a product in that niche? Would you start again with a different product in the same niche with different ads and see if you could catch the interest of a different demographic, or do you just move onto a different market each time and come back to that one in 6 months when new users will be ready to see your ads?

Did you use any image editing or capturing software? It doesn't matter whether it is your first or second WSO, but you have shown nice step by step though.

here's my review of this product

1. the OP didn't REALLLY make $494....he did but that was gross profit not net
I think he made 120 net profit (in 3-4days)

2. this isn't a get rich scheme like other's say make 10,000 in 1 day lol

if it's too good to be true then it's probably a lie
if the amount is less money..it's usually a good product

3. i also purchased this product because he wrote it was his first WSO and most ppl who offer their first usually offer good information or their best info

4. it was and is really cheap. i paid 17 and if you dont have that to spend or take a chance to learn something then i dont know what to tell you

5. my thoughts on the actual product
a) he does a real good explanation of how he sets up campaigns, and WHY he sets up campaigns the way he does (this video makes you want to do the stuff while you watching
)
b) he talks about AND shows how to scale campaigns. not many marketers do this.
a lot of marketers market to 18-50 year old people and never scale the campaigns

c) he tells you where you should get more demographic information in how to scale the campaigns. An example is if you're selling an Automobile handbook....it doesnt take a rocket scientist to know that you need to target this to Males only.
With POF you have to pay by impression so you'll be wasting a lot of $$ if you start to market to everyone so you have to narrow down the fields.

d) last point and most important point
i made money within 48hours of reading this WSO
i spent about 30 bucks and made $144.41 = $114.41 net (in 1 day on 2nd day)

i used a different niche product because i knew everyone was going to copy his niche/product (and they still are) but used the same principles

To anyone on the fence about about INVESTING $17 to cut your learning curve by months/years, do yourselves a solid and just do it.

I realize not everyone has the same budget, but if you only have $5 to invest, and expect it to solve all your financial troubles, well may I suggest buying a lottery ticket. You will have better odds. (No disrespect to anyone offering their WSO for $5 or less. I have gotten in on some great ones at $5 or less).

What you are paying for is a "Guide" to show you where to fish, and how to bait your hook. Would you rather search all over the lake/river/sea/internet to find a large school of hungry fish, and then experiment w/ different types of "bait" (read offers) to use or would you pay a "Fishing Guide" that knows the waters and what the fish like to eat to short cut your time and expenses trying to find them yourself?

I'll pay the guide any day. However, if you don't currently have the budget to invest in a proven guide, I would suggest casting for the shore for free (articles/blogs/PLR) until you can catch enough fish, sell them and reinvest in a quality guide to take you to the big schools and land a huge catch.

I swear, it seems like a lot of people want to start their careers in internet marketing at the top making the kind of money that Frank Kern, and Eben Pagen (claim they) do. It sounds great, but it's not reality.

To wrap up this much longer post than I intended, here is my honest review.

1- The video was fantastic. No unnecessary fluff or filler. Just strategy that is solid.

2- I learned more from this 45 or so minuets that I did from a course that cost 100x more. I did learn for the other, but I got more value from this WSO.

3- You will loose money at first, unless you are just lucky out of the gate. BUT if you follow the strategy you will quickly know if you can make money in your chosen niche or if it's a dud. In that case, cut bait and move on to a different niche.

4- You can apply what you learn to other sites, even AdWords.

Just curious here about this video. It sounds very good, but isn't advertising on POF what the Traffic Dojo course teaches at almost $500? There's a huge difference between $17 and $500, so there has to be something missing in your vid. Either that, or one is ridiculously overpriced and the other ludicrously undervalued?

Then again, perhaps they are 2 entirely different approaches and methods that yield different results. I remember the Traffic Dojo being promoted as an absolute steal at $497.00, hence the query.

There's a huge difference between $17 and $500, so there has to be something missing in your vid. Either that, or one is ridiculously overpriced and the other ludicrously undervalued?

Then again, perhaps they are 2 entirely different approaches and methods that yield different results. I remember the Traffic Dojo being promoted as an absolute steal at $497.00, hence the query.

While Christian gives you a lot of background about PoF before going into the "how to" itself, I focused on simply doing a case study.

It's not different approaches, it's more like 2 different TEACHING approaches (I'm more of a "get strait to the point" kind of guy).

I do think that my video is wayyyyy under-priced, but I'm more interested in the process here and learning about the potential of WSO's than making money (which an awesome bonus ).

This is an excellent study case.

The beauty of it is POF is pretty similar to Facebook, although
I think POF will convert slightly better than Facebook.

I love the systematic split testing.

If you're ever thinking of launching a campaign on a social network
site, this WSO will give you a huge head start.

You will not find anything revolutionary though, so if you're looking for
miracle tricks this is not it. This is a simple, nothing hold back kind of
study case.

Some people will see the beauty of this simple study case. Some won't but
I know I did .. and I for one wish there were more WSOs like this ..
