I don't run WSOs very often and I sometimes wonder if people will even notice them with the sheer mass of WSOs that get put up here these days so it's really nice not only to make a few sales but that people take the time to provide a positive response.

Hi,

I don't think it makes any difference - I lived in the US for 6 months last year and didn't see anything that would make me think you couldn't work with them in the same way as the UK.

Mostly dealing with people is about psychology and we're feeling the financial depression here as much as the US so many businesses are focused on staying alive and reducing costs.

I don't stick to any rigid structure for my business - I like helping people and I usually look for the best ways to do that rather than what's best for me, and that seems to work well.

As for the powerpoint slides - I don't use them as a sales tool, I created the presentation to use as a framework for educating business owners about the benefits of the internet (what their customers are searching for, what they need to know about how the internet can help them etc.) so that they learn something and then just want someone else to make it all happen for them.

I'm not into trying to sell people things - I just educate them and let them choose whether I can help them or not.

It depends what type of website you want - there are lots of ways.

The best way depends on the purpose of the website and what type of content it will have.

You can create a nice looking one-page website by getting a template and editing it, or by creating it in a web editing tool and the publishing it. Alternatively using something like Wordpress can make it easy and no tools needed. There are also lots of companies that give away free websites - so it really depends on why you need one and what you intend to do with it.

You can always Google "learn web design" or look on Youtube for some quick solutions too.
