I first got into selling books online back in 2005 when I ran across a stack of books sitting next to the dumpster at the apartment I lived in. I had sold off and on at eBay since 1999, so after a little research decided to sell at half.com. To my surprise, those 6 used college textbooks in varied conditions sold for over $200! haha - No, that was not the start of my dumpster diving career. Since then I have bought and resold books at Amazon and other places - and along the way have purchased several ebooks about selling books at Amazon.

So while I didn't learn anything earth-shattering reading Carlos' WSO, I was impressed with his detailed information - from signing up with Amazon, as well as his thoughts on price positioning your book when selling in a crowded field of sellers. He also covers how to easily value books, when buying for resale - so you can figure out if it's even worth your efforts. Also mentioned are a number of ways to get books for free, or at very low cost. Hey, you left out dumpster diving!

He also mentions the best way to leverage shipping costs and the best shipping practices. Speaking of shipping, Carlos touches upon Amazon's fairly new FBA (Fufillment By Amazon) program that might be a good way to go if you want to save on shipping and don't want to deal shipping nonsense.

Basically he lays out a solid road map to success that a newbie can follow so you don't have to learn the hard way. Even if you have sold books online before it is well worth the $10 he is charging at the time of this review. Hey if you sold just a few of the books sitting around collecting dust on your shelves you easily covered the measly $10 you paid for this WSO! Too bad there is no ethical way to resell all those WSOs "collecting dust" on my hard drive!

I was hesitant to start selling on Amazon but I read this WSO, watched the movies, and I've made 2 sales already. The part about shipping and what you must do to satisfy Amazon has already saved me a bunch of aggravation. I have to admit that I was skeptical at first but learned a lot from this product and I would recommend it.
