It's a good point. Most of my stuff is very very expensive, - I don't want people to buying extra stuff before they have mastered the basics. too much stuff confuses people, they don't take action etc

So, I upsell on a low ticket product, but people are so overwhelmed they do nothing with any of it. Chance of return business - lower.

Or, I offer people a choice of three packages and they go into it knowing what they want and getting that. I'm kinda in agreement with Ryan Diess on this one.

It really does mean less money for me in the short term but much much happier customers long term. For certain product launches and other things, I would simply offer upsells.

At $15 - I don't see the point of a downsell. I'm not a huge fan of downsells - because I sell limited quantities, you are either in or out so to speak.

Upsells are great, but I'm more interested in introducing people to my rather unique marketing approach than making maximum money.

In other words I'm looking at loyalty and lifetime customer value not maximum money upfront.

Upsells are powerful though, and they are covered in the Product Elevator bonus (I guess the name gives it away) .

This will probably be my last low ticket item for the rest of the year, I'm hoping that this and Offline Easy Cash will really help people get started.
