Hey, thanks for the feedback! Ok here are my answers: 1) There are a lot of different ways to keep the software secure. Obviously the passwords are one way encrypted, sessions are stored securely etc. but then there are less obvious things like validating form inputs (to prevent code injections. I have been doing web applications for many years from eCommerce to CMS to custom systems so I guess the best way to answer this is to assure you I have the experience in this area. 2) It is really down to the individual stores rather than the product as a whole. Essentially you have to follow one golden rule - "Offer Value". Make great websites with great content. I built FSB around this so its as easy and natural as possible, but if you just throw a store up without any effort it still has a risk of not being loved by Google. 3) At the moment there are plenty of places to but banner code for the other affiliate networks. Depending on demand, I want to integrate other merchants fully (especially those with nice APIs). eBay will work well and that could be the first depending on what the users want. 4) The products are automatically updated from Amazon already (prices, reviews, images, content etc. etc.). Once you add the products thats it, and you can autopopulate categories to keep them fresh with products. So if you like it is fine to set and forget, but I would recommend checking your sites periodically to make sure your promoting all the right products and no rogue unrelated products have slipped through the net. 5) My short term plan is to finish the design functionality in the admin area (the ability to change logos, GUI for CSS changes etc.) which is almost done, finish three templates to be released free to all users and make sure the guides and installation are as straightforward as possible. I have many ideas for the long term plan and what will happen first depends on what the users want. Other affiliate networks seems a popular choice, and we have many more that I would rather not make public just yet ![]() I hope that answers your questions and let me know anything else you need. Thanks, Carey Quote:

I just checked on google.co.uk and its still top for "vtech laptops", "vtech shop", and page 1 for "vtech toys", "vtech baby toys" etc. Try using google.co.uk and let me know what you see - Google does use your location when returning your results, so if your in the US it still might be different. I can find another way to prove this to you if you need. Thanks, Carey

OK Carey, I took the plunge. Your store templates are very professional; probably the best I've seen. I was not thinking about building amazon stores, but after looking at some of your demos, I decided to give it a try. Thanks, Frank |

Not sure if this was brought up yet but I wanted a quick answer to how this differs than a plugin for wordpress such as: WP Zon Builder|WordPress Amazon Plugin I'm in need of a quick amazon site builder and your script looks pretty good but I just wanted to know how or why your solution would be better than the several amazon site plugins currently on the market. I'm very interested in ordering but at the price point of $147 I'd need some good reasons why it's superior to WP amazon sites. |

There are a few differences with FSB and the Wordpress Plugins such as the one you mentioned: - FSB is built from the scratch, ground up as an Amazon Store. It is not a blog plugin and has a dedicated, custom admin area. - The blog plugins build a kind of cross between a blog and a review site or a chronological list of products. FSB is a store - you add categories, have a special offers section and it functions completely like an eCommerce site with a basket etc. - I built and used FSB for myself, for a few years, before making it available. It is built to work and not to be sold - some of the other solutions I have seen are literally built to appeal to people, but have never been properly tested to show profitability. - This is a long term project and commitment. I am building a community and plan to release more related products. This is a professional product and we will not disappear overnight. e.g. the Auto e-store plugin you might have seen made a lot of sales and now the owner cannot be found. - The approach is to build good quality sites that offer value. Other solutions seem to be focused on building many sites, quickly, easily, on autopilot etc. and this invites Google Penalties and will trash your domains. A lot of the users are suprised at how many features we have got in the script and because I have added them over the years not all are documented. Here are some features I don't believe are in the Wordpress plugins: - Edit the design from the admin area e.g. upload logo, background image - Ability to add/edit content on all areas of your site, including products - Ability to browse your site and edit content via Ajax when logged in as admin (check out the demo store to see how this works) - Private forum and guides detailing the best way to create stores and make money on Amazon - Ability to edit Meta Titles, Meta Description, Meta Keywords, Pagename (e.g. the URL for a product/page/category) and even Alt and Title text on the images. This is for every product, page, category and article on your store. We have some great features coming up that I am keeping tight lipped about for now, but you can be assured that we are committed to improving and expanding FSB. Hope that answers your question, let me know if you need any more info.

Carey, I have been told that you've left the quantity at "only 1 left" for at least a day after someone ordered that last advertised package. I'm not leaping to any tall conclusions here, but I'd appreciate it if you could let me know who the last person was who ordered, and when. By private message, please. Paul |

Just letting everyone who reads and or is subscribed to this thread This guy pretty much ripped me off. By looking at what he offers on his site, it seemed to be a push button site builder, right? Wrong. You have to put quite some time into each store, much more than I have as I am running 6 sites. Kindly asked for my money back, but he states he won't give it back to me because its written in his "terms of use" . Why would you not give a customer back their money if they were completely unhappy with their purchase? Hopefully paypal will award me the disputeBTW I said something positive about his site because I told him I would in an email and that I just wanted my money back. But since he's dealing with his customers in this way everyone can hear the unbiased no kiss a** version Real nice business you are doing here Carey |

Dustin, Carey said, in the sales copy: Quote:
If not, there was no refund offered. Accusing him of scamming you because you didn't read the copy and bought something that wasn't a magic button (and specifically said it wasn't) is out of line. Please amend those comments. Paul

Yes, it looks like indeed, there is no refund offered for this WSO. I've also asked for one, not reading properly the terms and conditions on the website, and I've got promptly the reply that a refund is out of the question. Not his mistake by any means, it's mine, since I've wrongly assumed that as most other WSOs (particularly so expensive ones) do offer it. The software is promising, but after 2 weeks of using it I've realized that - as a previous person also mentioned, there is just too much work involved in it. As I already run over 20 niche sites, I also assumed that it's a relatively easy process to add such store sites to my portfolio. However, there are easier ways to sell and promote Amazon products. I'd have to leave my previous projects on hold and dedicate my time only to this to make it really worthwhile - something that at this point I can't afford to do. Sadly as I can't use this software anymore due to time constraints, I'm stuck with a license that I won't be using and with my money gone. Should be a lesson to anyone who is jumping in with both feet without thinking it really through. Just to clarify, I'm not bashing or accusing the seller, I'm merely pointing out to everyone before buying a WSO to properly read the small prints and check out the website in details as well, beyond the obvious, something that I'm kicking myself hard for not doing in advance |

Hi Carey, How much time in involved in setting the site up and ready? From what I read above it seems to be lot of work, I dont mind creating content and tweaking the description but if the initial process of getting this up and running takes a while then I have to think about it. Another question is that when I set up the category to "Auto Populate" will it fetch all the matching products and publish it right away or is there an option to make the products available slowly and steadily so that it looks like the site is naturally growing rather then going from 0 pages to 500 pages in a day. Thanks Stan |

Whether you are using FSB or any other software or blog, you simply can not expect to set it up in 5 minutes and sit back and see the dollars roll in. That's simply unrealistic. Whatever method you use to make money online, to be successful, you actually have to do some work. The biggest SEO advantage with FSB is that it is very flexible with its structure so that you can create a unique site with loads of unique content. You can edit every page and product to add your own meta keywords/description and text. This is the real power of FSB and what will ultimately help you in the SERP's. To set up a FSB site with products and no unique content takes around 15-20 mins. However, that's a bit like saying you can install Wordpress and some plugins in the same time and expect it to be wildly successful. FSB is no magic bullet, but if you put some effort in, you can reasonably expect some returns. |

Wow some pretty ignorant people in here as far as "too much work" comments. The script install and setup isn't all that much work and pretty straightforward. And once it is installed and setup the cron jobs do all the product updates and population for you! How the hell is that a lot of work? If you mean "too much work" when it comes to doing backlinking, adding original content to help add more search indexing potential and such, well then this product, or any successful site probably isn't what you are after lol. As UMS said above, it can easily be compared to wordpress...both easy enough to install and setup and customize. But don't expect great ranking in the search engines just by sitting there. This isn't the crappy type of script that will go out and suck up every known rss feed and pull in articles that are duplicated all over the net. Who wants that for a real site? That kind of crap is better suited for cheesy throw-away sites that you put on .info domains and don't expect to last. FSB makes it very easy to setup a great looking store that is automated and makes adding your unique content (which if you really are that lazy you can easily outsource) along with the products and have a very legitimate "store" ready for orders (read commissions). To be completely honest, I was a bit blown away by the backend of this script. I originally thought it was just a basic product feed type script but it already has a ton of great options and control and more coming. Carey is a good guy and has some talent. I'm excited to see what else he can squeeze into the script. |

I subscribed to FS out of curiosity more than anything as I already have various Amazon sites on HTML and WordPress along with various large content affiliate sites. Carey's script is excellent as is his after sales service. The trouble is a lot of people expect to get something with no work involvement. To make money on the internet you have to treat the whole project as a BUSINESS and work hard at it. You have to keep focused on your current project - forget about jumping round to the next quick fix and concentrate on doing justice to the one in hand. Carey's script gives you, albeit very comprehensively, the bare bones of the whole system wherebye you can extract information from Amazon in any manner that you want. My test site was up and running within 45 minutes including setting up the database and sucking information in from Amazon After that it's up to you to make it work using all the usual SEO techniques both on-site and off-site to get traffic. FSB is no quick fix, AKA Silver Bullet, but used sensibly with additional niche research, content and effort gives the potential to make $$$. |

I have been been using the amazon associates program for a few years now. I tried a lot of different amazon scripts from full script sites to wordpress themes. Carey's script so far has been the best I have seen. I have a few sites built with fresh store builder already and few of them have sales. Content is KING. If you want to rank in Google and other search engines you need quality content on your site and also submit uniq articles to article directories and quality backlinks. This script has been the best I have seen for SEO. You can change anything you want. You have full control not like other scripts where 85% is locked and you have no control. I recommend fresh store builder to anyone who is serious about making money and willing to put the time and work into it. I have built sites with this script in hours. Its very easy to use just need to get into it and find all the features. I do not work for Carey I just knew him for a while now and he is a good guy and knows what he is doing. I been using the script since beta version so if anyone has any install or setup questions. Just send me a pm. Good Luck! |

Can I just say a really big thanks to everyone for your positive comments and support. I have worked very hard to make this a great script for everyone, as well as a great community and to see this come to reality is a great achievement. To receive such great, unsolicited testimonials from users who love the script and are making money is a great feeling for me - it makes me proud of Fresh Store Builder and happy to help others become successful online. I have a big announcement to make below, but first I just wanted to answer some of the queries. @green365 A couple of people have answered this above, but to clarify the script needs installing similar to wordpress. You upload the files to your webhost, setup a database for it, run an install script (entering your amazon details) and then the store is ready to populate. To populate you decide on your categories, choose products to add (or setup some autopopulations) and add unique content (articles, category descriptions etc.). Then you promote your store (SEO, PPC or whatever your preferred method) for traffic. All these steps are documented and if you get stuck I will guide you through it. When you auto populate it will add products gradually over time. It will keep checking the auto populate method regularly and will "loop through" indefinitely looking for new products. You can control the pace this happens to make it look natural, as you say. @Christian Fox This thread is not dead. I have been away for a week, hence my lack of updates here. Depending on experience you can get a store started in roughly 30 to 45 minutes - i.e. installed, categories setup and products added. You then want to think about adding content (which you could outsource), changing the design (minimum changing the logo and colours) and promoting (link building etc.). I recommend constant "gardening" of the store - adding articles, new products, new categories etc. In terms of SEO, you have 100% control over all content, meta information, image alt/title tags and fully open templates so you can even tweak HTML/CSS. The main SEO benefit is the ability to add unique content. You can add content to products, categories, homepage and make your own custom pages. I cannot stress enough how important good quality, unique content is to your store (and indeed any website) - it is absolutely the most important thing in my book for good search engine rankings. And now... the big announcement! Due to the fact that I value this software very highly, as well as the information in our guides and private forum, we have a no refund policy. As you can see from the comments this has upset a couple of users, but the fact remains this is in our Terms of Use and is in place to protect the script and my business. I don't consider myself an unreasonable person and I have been backed up on this by friends, users and even moderators here on WF. However, I realise that you need to see with your own eyes what this script is all about. In addition to that I am 100% confident you will love Fresh Store Builder - I am confident because less than 2% of our users have asked for a refund, and none because they don't like the script. I also understand that situations change and you may not be able to use Fresh Store Builder after purchase due to unforeseen circumstances. So I have come to the decision that we will now offer a 30 day no quibble money back guarantee. So give it a try, let me know what you think and if it is not for you just email us within 30 days of purchase and you will get a full refund. This of course applies to existing users, so any existing users still wishing a refund simply contact us via your account. So as always, post on here, email me, PM me or send me a telegram with any questions or queries you have and I will look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for reading ![]() Carey |

Hi Thought i would return to this thread today and give Carey a big thumbs up for his customer service. After buying the script i had alot of problems getting my head round how it worked, this is not because the script is hard to use just my inexperience in using scripts. Today Carey took the time to go into my back office and alter somethings i had done wrong so that i could start populating my store all this within 1 hour of my request. Also this is not the first time he has jumped in to help me out. Anyone considering buying the script should do so knowing they will not be left alone to flounder. Thanks Carey for the superb support ( something sadly lacking in the online world ). Kind Regards Shaun |

I purchased this script as well and have been struggling with it. Like the poster before me it's not the script...it's my inexperience with scripts, code, css, and sh*t like that. The basic store is easy to install and set up. I can set up a store and auto populate with products and categories in 20 - 30 minutes. Adding unique content takes more time but the basic store can be set up pretty quick. My problems are things like background images and colors, unique headers, brand images, logo's and so on. I don't know any code and this is really the 1st script I've used so this is new to me. The forum members who have previewed there sites in the forum all have nice unique looking stores. I can't even change my header and don't even know how to create one. To wrap up...I can really see the power of this tool and will learn how to use it even if it takes me some time. Carey is very helpful and has also gone into my hosting account to clear up a few things I screwed up. He did this for me last week while on vacation. He is an honest guy and I like and trust him. Thanks for the great product Carey. See you in the forum. For those of you whom are trapped by your 20 sites...good luck. Jim |

![]() In terms of the design, I am trying to make it as easy as possible to change the design without having to touch code, css etc. I am going to be adding more to the design options you have in your admin area. I don't want people to feel like they have to get into the code to do what they want, but I think for absolute control you will need to go in and change some things. So if you need any help with that just let me know, as always. We also have logo and background design packages at fair prices, which I outsource and sort out for you - check out your extras section in your account. Many users have got logos etc. from here including myself. Anyway let me know how your getting on with your store when you get chance and speak to you soon

Hi Carey, I bought your package a month ago and still have 1 day to ask for money back ... but of course I'm not gonna do that, FreshStoreBuilder is too promising !!! I haven't had time b4 and I m just now looking at setting it up, probably I'm gonna use 1 of your extra...I have 1 question, how can we manage geo target sales since Amazon affiliate programs are different according to countries, i.e. amazon .ca and .com and .co.uk have different affiliate programs. I guess best thing is to set up 3 sites (licenses)and link them together through an icon flag? Sorry, I probably should have asked this in the Fresh forum (I'm waiting for confirmation). Thanks |

If you are adding a store on to an existing site which has global appeal, do something like this: http://www.site.com/store-us/ http://www.site.com/store-uk/ http://www.site.com/store-ca/ Then you could have the main /store/ page asking customers which they want to shop at. Hope that helps!

I found from my research that the store model works better for search Engines and also for conversions once you get the visitors. In a blog format, you are adding posts which go out of date. Google loves wordpress but it also knows that its essentially news and gives priority to the new posts. With a store model you can build categories to target keywords, which will stay indefinitely in the results. You also get more long tail searches as each individual product has a unique page and can have unique content. On top of that you can add custom pages to target keywords and link from that to products etc. Of course you can change everything from the meta title to the url on every page (including product pages) which I think you would be able to do with wordpress, and the right plugins. In terms of conversions, I find people visiting a store are looking to buy and converted easier than in a product review type situation. You also have a basket on your store, so customers tend to place larger orders instead of just buying one product. I hope that answers your question - let me know if you have any more.

Thanks for allowing us to get this massive discount for such an outstanding website builder/Store! I have to say, your support people are not only fast and friendly with installation, they are actually enthusiastic with building the site! I was going over some of the details of how to upload products for this but I stopped and came by to take time to write this because I am so impressed with the level of quality and service your team provided me. Give them something as a gift for the weekend, these people rock ![]() Interesting that I haven't said anything about the script itself yet eh? To see the simplicity yet open themed layout which make navigating a breeze, you just need to see the demo. It's a terrific layout. Your own future paying customers will love it... I am genuinely grateful I scooped this while it was available, or the price increased. Fantasic offer, thanks a lot. |

Seems like a good offering but odd that users of wp amazon plugins are not jumping on board. Some questions: 1. Amazon is making changes on October 15th and November 9th. Is the script changed (or being changed)? 2. Thepressurecookershop has a problem with text being overwritten-see pressube cooker books. It seems that this script is still under development if that type of error exists. 3. I don't know anything about HTML/CSS. For a wordpress blog, I usually just get a header made for the twentyten default template. (forgot the dimensions of the default header). Does freshstorebuilder have a default header size that I can ftp to a folder? 4. Please don't take offense with this question. If you go out of business, how will the sites I make be protected. Do they "call home"? What type of authorization do you use. thanks |

Ok your questions: 1) We have changed the script to deal with the Amazon Review changes. There is an option to show the iFrame reviews or hide them altogether. 2) I am not too sure what you mean by text being overwritten. Do you mean on the product listing? Is this a display issue? The script is constantly under development - adding features, fixing bugs etc. with new releases regularly. Any problems are fixed as reported. 3) You can add a logo, banners in the headers, on the homepage, background image etc. via the admin area - you just upload, no need for FTP. There are recommended sizes detailed in your admin area. 4) The script is protected on a licensing system. If Fresh Store Builder went out of business or anything like that your stores will continue to work 100%, no problem. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Okay. I'm in. I just purchased the software and look forward to using it this weekend. Hoping for good things with this one. I write a lot of reviews, so hopefully the combination of this store builder and the reviews will get good results. |

Are there any PDFs that have all the guides in one spot? It would be nice to have for printing off or keeping a file local on my computer for reference during set up.

OK Carey, I'm another new customer from "across the pond." Have been "sprinkling" Amazon links throughout my blog posts for a couple of years now and have never made enough commission to even cover domain registration costs. Am now ready to try focusing on a "store with some relevant content" instead of a blog, which is basically "content with some affiliate links." I had to re-read your posts that talked about the difference between a store and a blog several times before it finally hit me. It's a philosophical difference that changes your entire focus - and therefore, what you spend your time on. I'm looking forward to using you script to craft a successful store full of niche products. Hiram |

We have got plenty of guides to get you started on the right track - make sure you go over the "Niche Research" as I consider them the most important. Picking the right area to focus on and your domain name is the foundation for your store. I spent a number of years promoting Amazon (and other merchants) in different ways, and found the store model to be the highest converting and most efficient use of my time. Let me know anything you need and will see you in the forums ![]() Carey
