Been dying to try this out, somehow the sales page always looked to complicated and I just didn't have time to go through it. Looks like an awesome program you guys have put together.

Can you tell me what kind of results your members might be having?

Regarding the $27 plan....is that one site per month.....or one site period?

This is only one store on one domain. We included this plan for people

1. who want to try us out before upgrading to a higher subscription plan
2. who are only interested in 1 store and don't need a multiple store account

We've taken away the technical hurdles for building WP datafeed sites. But that on it self will not generate any results when the site is not promoted properly. It's the same for every other service. If you don't take action nothing will happen.

I can only tell from our own experience with our own test sites that the stores DO generate results when you put in some effort to promote.

If you want to follow someone who's using Datafeedr take a look at John Pratt's blog. John will use Datafeedr for the next 2 months. He will blog about everything he's doing with Datafeedr multiple times per week....

Yes, you need a subscription to Datafeedr.

Each feed you create in Datafeedr can contain products from different merchants across different networks. We update our database on a weekly basis so the products in your feed(s) are updated if the merchant datafeed(s) you used for your store(s) changed.

If you cancel your subscription your store(s) will still work but you no longer will have access to store plugin and feed updates.

Upon membership cancellation, I understand that the feed would not update; but what exactly do the store plugin's do that would stop functioning on the site?

Also, in the event a merchant's product is no longer provided in the feed, does Datafeedr provide another related product in its place?

Hi Dana,

When you cancel, your store will NOT stop working. You will have at all times a full operational site. When you cancel you will no longer have access to new store plugin versions (new store features, fixes, ...) and will no longer be able to download new feed updates.

Note that feed updates are not automatic. To update your store you need to download feed from Datafeedr and upload and import into your WP blog. So cancelling means outdated products will not be replaced (unless you do manually) as you no longer can't access Datafeedr.

Main domain / sports collectibles
Main domain / car collectibles
Main domain / comic collectibles
Main domain / antique collectibles

So in other words I would have one subscription at 27.00 per month and I would use my main domain and have different categories for sub domains like I have provided above? Does this make sense?

Also , if I went this route how would I update my feed so that each sub category of products would be updated?

One domain or subdomain equals one store but you can set up as many store categories as you want in one store. The category pages will be available via the following URLs...

http://yourdomain.com/store/category/yourstorecategory1
http://yourdomain.com/store/category/yourstorecategory2
http://yourdomain.com/store/category/yourstorecategory3

category can be renamed to whatever you want via the store options page in WP admin > Datafeedr > Store Options.

If you want a separate directory per store category (the way you want) you need to install WP in each directory and create a store feed per directory. That means you need a 5-10-unlimited store account depending on how many directories you want to set up.
