Ok, here's my review. As the OP states, this is not a cookie cutter, cut and paste, fill in the blanks WSO. After awhile I finally finished the video. As a newbie, I didn't really understand it much, but I do not believe it is a newbie product. It's probably intermediate, intermediate being the next level past beginner. It will briefly explain 2 ways of email marketing. The type of marketing he explains could be very risky, sort of like PPC. Lots of people lose money in PPC. You could potentially lose money in this he explains. It was a good video non the less, and I would recommend anyone looking to get some general information about nana cast, learn ways to improve their sales through a newsletter, and much more. Also remember it is only $1 and he said he'd refund your dollar if you like.

Make sure you have really good SPEAKERS. I don't know why, but I had my ear up against my laptop the whole time because I was having trouble hearing it.

Sorry bud, I'm not a professional actor and doing a 51 minute video does require some filler here and there, especially when you're not working with a script. If that means you only watch half of it... then I guess I will just remind myself that I can't be everything for everybody all the time. Some people are going to have something negative to say, no matter what you do. Even if you put out an awesome video for 1 measly dollar!

Maybe my own WSO post is the wrong place to put this little "rant" but I think it has to be said.

What are the so called "newbies" looking for?

Do they want a guide that explains what affiliate marketing is? Or perhaps an introduction on how to profit with mechanical turk?

This is how I'm going to answer the question... "is this for newbies?"

Maybe what newbies need is an explanation of how business works and how Internet Marketing is just that, a business. Business = risk. So yes, you can POTENTIALLY lose money with this strategy if you do it wrong or you don't do simple math.

But everything you do has a risk. If you're not risking dollars, you're risking time. It's called opportunity cost. For example, if you do mechanical turk for a living, I bet you could be doing a lot better than clicking links for $.01.

But perhaps what "newbies" (people who are new to the business of IM) really want is something push-button. They heard about this thing where people are making money on the internet and they want in - how is it done, they ask? Well, I'm here to tell you what 99% of marketers will tell you (this excludes the 1% who are looking to take advantage of newbies): Just like everything else in life, there's no pie in the sky. You wouldn't walk into a print or radio advertising firm with absolutely no education or experience and expect them to give you a top-notch salary off the bat.

OK, do some people make money like that? Do they find something unique on their first try and hit the jackpot? Sure. But no more in IM than at the local store.

So, rant finishing... yes, a newbie can watch this, understand it, and EVEN implement it if he or she is ambitious. And if you have questions about anything technical or "IM speak" in this video, I'm willing to BET that you can find 90% of the answers on wikipedia and the rest on the Warrior Forum.

HOWEVER, it is not a push-button system. This is a case study. You will learn by watching what I did, not by lather, rinse repeat. You will need to come up with your own creative solution to provide value to the marketplace!

In a way, this might be the BEST thing for a newbie to watch. Cause then they won't be filled with all the hypie garbage that flies around telling them they can make this in so many hours. They'll understand, well it seems this thing might take some learning, work, and risk. And this video will just add to their knowledge-base and tool belt.

(Having said all that, I'm willing to admit that intermediate and advanced marketers might have a better opportunity to immediately implement some of the steps and get faster benefit. But I'm unwilling admit that there's a segment of the affiliate marketing community that cannot derive benefit from this video. MAYBE MAYBE the person who already knows all this... doubtful )

And yes, as Caleb stated, if you're extremely strapped for cash and $1 is going to set you back, there is a money-back guarantee. But if 51 minutes is less valuable to you than $1 when you're trying to make it in this business then... I just don't know what to say to that... in another WSO, perhaps.

He called Westinghouse and tried to chew him out. "How dare you charge me $6,000 for one hammer blow!!!," he screamed.

Westinghouse answered him: "I only charged you $2.00 for the hammer blow. I charged you $5,998.00 for knowing where to strike the hammer blow."

David charges $1 for this WSO. What is the cost of the experience people will need to know how to use David's WSO?

I took the time to read your article and personally it does not seem like a balanced view at all. You simply lost me on that one.

Anyway, your 'review' in my opinion is rather subjective and your "It's very impressive" is rather vague to say the least. None of this assists other Warriors to make an informed opinion about this product that you have bought and viewed.

You might want to tell us if you actually benefited from this 51 minute $1 video or not.

In any case a more balanced view would be much appreciated even if you did not like the product.

The only email I got was to a form to enter my email address, which seemed kind of stupid. I finally entered my address into the form, as I figured I was not going to get the download unless I did, but when I did I got an error telling me I had subscribed but had not confirmed. WTF.

I know it is only a dollar, but it is being featured as WSO of the day over the weekend and the OP is not paying attention to the sale. I guess he doesn't like to work weekends and I respect that. But why let your product be featured as a WSO of the day if you don't want to be available to your customers.

It is hardly worth putting in a dispute with PayPal for the dollar, but the principal is still the same.

I just purchased this WSO.

The way I got to the download area is to use the opt-in page below that states if you want your download to be sent to another email address other than the one you use to purchased this product.

I used a different email address than the one that was registered with paypal into that opt-in box and it took me to a page where I watch the video online.

Hope that help those who are having a little trouble getting the video.

Oh, so I not only got to receive sales pitches to my PayPal email, but another one too. Why the hell didn't he send the download link to my PayPal email, if he could send the sign up link there? I just want my dollar back. These things seldom turn out like the sales pitch promises. I have things to do and have spent too much time on this already. Ok, here's my review. As the OP states, this is not a cookie cutter, cut and paste, fill in the blanks WSO. This is a case study that delivers an over the shoulder look at how one warrior utilized several tactics to generate a nice payday over an eight day period. This is a clever and creative way of getting paid to build a list quickly.

What I would say is that this WSO isn't designed for you to do EXACTLY what he did. Its designed for you to evaluate what he did (he does give a fair amount of step by step detail), learn from his actions, extract some of the tactics you feel you can succeed with, then go and implement them for yourself.
There are many courses, WSO's etc that describe, in theory, a tactic that may or may not work, if applied. Often, the person writing has no direct, real world experience with the tactic themselves.

One of the refreshing aspects of this WSO is that David reveals aspects of what he did that went well, where he got lucky, where he didn't, what advantages he benefitted from, how and why he made the choices he did. The approach itself underscores a mindset toward affiliate marketing that, if adopted, will help you add long term value to your own business with each promotion you run.

Could anyone duplicate his results? There is no claim made that you will. One of the key actions he took that helped lay the groundwork for his listbuilding and affiliate success could be done by anyone on this forum with no experience and no money, starting today.

There is a download provided so you can watch it over and over if necessary. Take notes, etc. I give it high marks for the potential to spark the profit making creativity of any reader/viewer.

This is not possible without getting your download link SOMEWHERE. If you confirmed, then the auto responder would send you the download link. If you did not confirm, then you'd be able to enter your address.
