Yeah, I think you're right. If you decide to get the Offline Edge course, I know you'll be very happy with the course/content. A lot of Warriors had some great results after going through it.

I've actually started the sales rep recruiting process that didn't proceed to the interview process mainly because most of these sales reps appear to have a lot more and longer sales experience in selling internet marketing service than me. Couple of them even have more than 5 years experience. I think I stopped because I felt intimidated...what if during the interview process they find out that I have less experience than them? Some of them even asked for sales collateral i.e. brochures, fliers, fulfillment documents etc. And I don't have any one of them!
I'm glad to see that it looks like this course will address the "sales collateral and fulfillment docs" part.
How about the "my potential sales reps having more experience than me" part? Would you address this in your course as well?

Also, in regards to the sales collateral and fulfillment docs part. Are they specific to selling website design service? If they are, are they highly customizable to include other services such as SEO, Social Media etc.

One more thing. What's the best way to find out the market rate on website design service, from the basic 5 pages one to the one with bells and whistles that include blog, e-commerce etc. ?

Wow! I've received a lot of positive feedback with the bonus. I honestly didn't think more than 20 people would jump on this today being a holiday weekend.

Hey CM,

Thanks for the great questions!

If you've got limited sales experience, you shouldn't let that hold you back. In fact, having limited personal sales experience is a big reason why you'd want to build a sales team. It's very likely that you'll interview some sales reps that have more experience than you, but you have to implement proper positioning. You also don't have to solely focus on sales reps with a background in internet marketing services. In some cases, you might even want to avoid them because they may have bad habits or want to do things their own way instead of your way. As mentioned, this will be covered heavily in the training.

Remember... you're the one with the opportunity. Positioning is something that we'll cover in-depth in this training. I feel like a lot of people have probably felt the same way that you do once they started recruiting, so we'll definitely spend some time on this.

As far as the documents related to this course, yes, they will all be specific to selling web design services, but I don't see why you couldn't use them as a template or guide for other services that you want to offer. I just want it to be clear that this training will focus specifically on building a sales team that will be selling websites to small business owners.

Could you take the principles you learn in this training and apply them to other products and services? Most definitely! The problem that a lot of people have when they recruit sales reps to offer services to business owners is they try to offer too many services and the sales reps get confused and never sell anything.

In fact, this is a recipe for disaster regardless of the what you're offering whether it's marketing services, advertising, insurance, etc. It doesn't matter. If you overwhelm a sales person, they're not going to be successful in many cases. It's imperative to start with a very simple product or service and have your sales reps focus on that. Over time, you can always add other products/services or recruit additional sales reps to focus specifically on other products/services.

As far as finding the market rate for web design services, the best way is to call some local web design firms and get some prices. Prices will vary widely, but polling web designers is a good place to start. Keep in mind, you don't have to be the cheapest game in town... I recommend that you aren't. If you teach your sales reps to only sell on price, they won't be as successful as they could be. During the sales training call where you hear me conducting a live training session, you'll hear me talking about value-selling.
