I recognize that the videos contain some screenshots referencing American cities, etc. But I do want you to know that I have provided the full transcripts for both Volume 1 and Volume 2 of the video packages, so if you'd like to have someone do the voiceovers in your accent, etc, you are able to do that as an option.

I am DEFINETLY considering completing some custom work for the offline warriors out there as well.

I'm with Sharon and Rob here - i would buy them without a seconds thought if they were more UK specific. Whilst those of us in this industry have no issues with the US concept, our somewhat more traditional (that was the nicest way i could think to put it) business owners will not be of the same opinion. In many cases, convincing some archaic people that the Internet is the future is not easy - to then slam them in the face with graphics showing US cities/maps & certain other images (the shots of taxi's) will be a step too far.

The concept is brilliant and I want In for my Local Marketing business. However, I need the UK slant - so, if you do think this is something you could offer - I'm IN (that's at least 3 of us on the 2 threads so far!!!)

Hi Rob and Jon! I appreciate your interest in the video packages! And trust me, I feel your pain on trying to reach the "traditional" biz owners, it can be VERY difficult.

I am in the process of finalizing a list for the final Volume 3 of the video packages. After I have completed producing Volume 3 (less than 2 weeks hopefully), I am considering doing UK versions of the packages and any other custom projects. I am not 100% that I'll be able to do this at this point, but with enough interested parties, I should be able to come up with something.

In order to change the voice over, you just need to take out the audio track (my voice) and replace it with your own audio track in any video editing software (such as Windows MovieMaker).

The videos are encoded in both h.264/aac and wmv/wma formats.

Volume 3 is in production now, and I'll be sending out the list of businesses covered here very shortly! After Volume 3 is completed, I will be offering up options for custom work. So if you do have a few businesses that you are targeting, that are not covered by any of the three volumes, I should have a solution for you in the very near future.

Also, to answer your question, 3 Benefits in 3 Minutes Volume 2 DOES have the audio transcripts already included. In the "download area", the transcript .txt file is the first link within the directory. The file size is 51 k. All the other downloads are above 40 mbs, so it should be easy to locate just by size if nothing else.

Hi Kevin,

As I mentioned in our PM's, for the absolute EASIEST and QUICKEST way to get these videos out there and seen online would be to host them on YouTube, and send the YouTube link to your prospects via e-mail. People recognize the YouTube brand now, and are probably more likely to click your youtube link. Of course you can host them on your own site for this purpose to, and the quality will be better.

Incorporating your own "website review" or "online marketing review" video for the business and combining it with the 3 Benefits Videos is a KILLER idea as well, and I plan on testing out this idea VERY soon.

Try following up the targeted e-mails with a phone call as well, letting them know you sent it, why you sent it, who you are, and asking if they had watched it yet or to watch it when they get an extra moment, etc. Perhaps you might even get a better and more direct contact e-mail or # out of the whole conversation if you're extra lucky.

You can't beat burning these things to a DVD and handing them out to prospects directly though.

Also, Direct mail is surely costlier, but for many of the higher-end inudstries within the videos, paying to mail out 20 copies (example: to local chirpractors) would probably be worth your time. Hope that helps get the wheels turnin...

I specifically mention Facebook and Twitter within the videos. For most of my clients, I include all of the local business directories (yelp, insiderpages,yellowpages.com, local community blogs/review sites, local newspaper and tv review portals etc) within a "reputation management package". This package encompasses a "monitering" and "review" process, discussed more throughly in the "Reputation Management Power Pack", linked to in my signature. Hope that helps give you some good ideas.
