How much knowledge of cars is required?...Does the metro area you're in make a difference? (I'm in Chicago)

Does this require becoming licensed as a dealer or other licenses/bonding etc.?

Are these dollar figures you're quoting realistic? (steady or is it more "one good week and a couple weeks with no sales" type of thing?)

If you were to describe the most difficult part of operating this business what would it be? Thanks for replying.

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for the post.

1. There is no knowledge of automobiles necessary. Everything you will need to know about each vehicle would be supplied by the owner/seller.

2. I cannot see how you would be required o be a licensed/bonded dealer because you won't be taking possession of or selling the vehicles. You will be marketing it only.

3. The dollar figures are realistic. There are several different ways to make money with this system and each is described in the manual. My favorite to look for the undervalued vehicles that will sell more on ebay than priced locally (I teach this in the video). I live in a much smaller area than Chicago and I do this all the time. I don't waste my time on anything that won't net me at least $1,000. When I shoot for this number, I usually end up making $3,000 to $4,000 on average per vehicle.

4. I was trying to come up with the most difficult part...but it really depends on your own experience. For example, some people have never posted their own ebay listing...so this would be tough for them. Others may never have used a digital camera...so this might be the hard part. Really, it is an easy system to do...and i do take you step-by-step, covering everything.

I've received a few emails where people are already actually moving on this business since I posted this WSO just a few days ago.

Hi Neil,

You wouldn't be able to market a car in the US from the UK because you will have to meet with people to take photographs. However, the UK does have ebay motors too, so you could very well market UK cars in the UK.

Brian, this sounds interesting. In regards to your statement above, if you only need to meet with the seller to take photos, couldn't you do this via email if the seller is competent with a digital camera, and he or she could just email you the photos and you could take it from there? This would allow you to expand beyond just local sellers, wouldn't it?

Also, do you show how / where to find these sellers? (My apologies if I missed that somewhere...). Thanks.

Yes, you could do everything by email if your customer is competent with the digital camera...but part of the value of your service is how many photos you'll be taking and exactly what you'll be taking the photos of to make a winning presentation.

The guide is pretty extensive as far as how to get customers. It's pretty easy and there are many ways to find them. I've been working with a few people here that have purchased the system in locating vehicles in their area.

I've been quite pleased with feedback, despite the poor audio quality. I've also been very impressed at how so many people actually jumped in and have put the system to work so quickly.

Hi Matt,

No, not every vehicle qualifies. I spend no more than 30 minutes a day looking for vehicles. They are pretty easy to find using my methods.

Hi Joel,

Yes, you can always have the buyer pay you and then issue a check to the seller for the vehicle. Using certain methods in the system, you're going to want to do that anyway. I do this a lot...especially when I stand to make $3,000 + profits.

I don't place many ads anymore. I use craigslist and my local classifieds to find as many customers as I can handle. I think placing ads gets you too many calls for cars you really don't want to deal with...so I search them out instead.

Question for all you eBayer's out there: are you able to search the completed listings in eBay Motors? I've done everything I can to see completed listings and I keep getting 0 results and a message that says, "Some search options aren't available on completed listings."

The only way I was able to see completed listings was to go to the homepage and search for Mustang (for example) in "all of eBay Motors" drop-down box. That brought up everything in eBay Motors related to Mustang. When I go to search for Mustang in "cars & trucks" drop-down I get 0 results!

I'm not specifying anything like zip code, price, year, color, etc.

Anyone?? Is eBay up to their sneaky little tricks again?

First, you have to be signed in with your username.

When you go to ebay.com, click "motors" which is right under the search box. Once you get to motors, type in the vehicle you are searching for.

On the left side, under the "search options" box and above the "items you've viewed" box, are the words "see completed listings"

Click that and you'll be taken to completed listings for the last 30 days.

I just went through this after seeing your post to make sure there was no changes.

Please let me know if you need anymore help.

Yes, I definitely think ebay motors is the way to go because you make big (really big) chunks of money instead of a few bucks here and there like most ebay products.

My biggest profit of almost $15,000 was about as easy as selling a Pez dispenser...and I didn't have to wait in line at the post office!

HI Michael,

#1. I guess its possible, but I don't see it being very likely that it will get over saturated.

#2. In a way, the economy will actually help in this business. First, the people with these vehicles are going to be more apt to sell them in a down economy. Second, the people that will be buying these vehicles probably won't be as affected by the economy as the masses. This is my take on it, anyway. In my area, I've seen an increase in the vehicles listed on my gold sheet.

I wish I had time to write a proper review but 2 small kids are calling!

I think most, around 80-90%, is common knowledge to anyone that has ever done business on eBay. However, if you're NEW to eBay this is an excellent ebook! The only "original" idea I could find in Brian's ebook was his gold list.

If you already know how to sell on eBay you could possibly skip the manual and just go for the gold list and contracts. If you're new to eBay this is an excellent guide!

I'm using VLC media player (VLC media player - Overview) and playing the FLV files play just fine. 2 problems though:

The audio is terrible! Brian already addressed this so not much more to say
The autozoom feature on Camtasia is not being used properly. It's zooming in and out unexpectedly. There are times when Brian is referring to a price on the screen but the window is zoomed in to a different part of the screen. I only tried watching the videos 1 time and if I remember correctly it was zooming in/out like every 15-20 seconds.

Killercopy - why do you not honor your guarantee's? I have sent you PM's and 3 email's to two different addresses (PayPal email, etc.). Anyone else has this experience with Killercopy?

What I find interesting is that you ignored my PM's and numerous emails until I posted my concern on the forum. You could have responded with the same message about your guarantee but instead you decide to flame me for asking for a refund.

Yes, I did like your WSO as stated in my first PM. I tried it and had poor results so now I'm a "scammer" because I tried it and it didn't work? What would you call someone that sells a WSO and ignores numerous requests for a refund (I bet you know the answer!).

You can keep my $14. I do hope that in the future you'll respond to your fellow warriors in the spirit of the forum!

(I'm in Chicago) Does this require becoming licensed as a dealer or other licenses/bonding etc.? Are these dollar figures you're quoting realistic? (steady or is it more "one good week and a couple weeks with no sales" type of thing?) If you were to describe the most difficult part of operating this business what would it be? I'm glad I got it! Question for all you eBayer's out there: are you able to search the completed listings in eBay Motors? I've done everything I can to see completed listings and I keep getting 0 results and a message that says, "Some search options aren't available on completed listings." The only way I was able to see completed listings was to go to the homepage and search for Mustang (for example) in "all of eBay Motors" drop-down box. That brought up everything in eBay Motors related to Mustang. When I go to search for Mustang in "cars & trucks" drop-down I get 0 results! I'm not specifying anything like zip code, price, year, color, etc. Anyone?? Is eBay up to their sneaky little tricks again?
