Just wondering --this seems to be something that is neither an affiliate program or having your own product (that is, the person who buys your service). If I understand this correctly, I could not advertise specific domains for sale, say on Ebay, because they wouldn't be mine, and other people are selling the same ones. So one would have to market it by sending traffic to the site itself --that is, people who are looking for domains in general, rather than marketing any particular domain name. Is this right?

Just wanted to share with you some excerpts from an email I sent to Members yesterday... Have a look at the domain names on the sample DPC (Domain Profits Club) website. This is a LIVE website containing the actual domain names currently available for you to sell. I can literally close my eyes and point a finger at my monitor, landing on any one of the 600+ domain names currently on the web site. I see GOLD every time. The first random domain I landed on was "FrederictonTravel.com". So I Googled "Fredericton" and there are 24,300,000 results. TWENTY FOUR MILLION. Fredericton, NB, Canada has population of 50,535 according to the 2006 census. Do you think that just maybe there are some travel agencies that would LOVE to own this domain name? I would say there are hundreds of targeted buyers. So what do you do with this knowledge? Search out travel agents in Fredericton and send them a personal email! If you're ambitious enough, call them. Tell them you are accepting offers on this domain name and that you are contacting several of their competitors as well. Tell them you can give them full ownership of this domain in just hours. I can almost guarantee you'll sell this for several hundred dollars, especially if you play one bid against another. This was just one impromptu example of the Gold waiting for you to pick up. You could repeat this process EVERY DAY and earn a full time income. Heck, you could repeat this process dozens of times a day if you wanted to. Sell just one domain a day and you have the potential to earn a six-figure income. Here's another totally random pick: ColoradoDriveways.com. How many driveway companies in Colorado do you think would LOVE to own this domain? I can't stop here. Let's do it again... AutoSoultions.com. How many car dealerships are there in America or even the world that would love to own this domain? Let's try again... PrintWholesaler.com. Are you freakin' kidding me? What a gem! All you have to do is make print wholesalers aware that it's up for grabs! Pure Gold. How do you find these 'print wholesalers'? GOOGLE is your best friend! Wow! Look what I just spotted... CrystalCoastInsurance.com! The Crystal Coast is an 85-mile stretch of coastline in North Carolina and is a popular area with tourists and second-home owners in the summer. Hmmm, do you think that there may be an insurance company in this highly affluent area that would have a use for this domain? OF COURSE! You really, truly can do this. Keep it simple. Be persistent and consistent. P.S. Never, never spam. Contact potential buyers one-on-one, on a personal level. Take the time to learn the business owner's name and give them yours. If you use email to do this, your email should contain your personal contact information... your name, your mailing address, your phone number, your direct email address, etc. . |

| UPDATE: One of our Members just sold 3 separate domains in 2 days for a tidy profit, using the contact approach described above. Congratulations Carl! This can be repeated day after day, with very minimal time and effort. . |

I just received payment of $2,025 for ONE real estate domain that was listed for sale on the Membership website. There are always LOTS of domains listed that will command similar prices. I did nothing special to get this sale, other than take my time in negotiating. The buyer originally offered me $750, but after several days of negotiating, settled on the $2025. Of course, I could have been passive about it and just accepted the $750! That's a decision each Member makes for themselves. As you gain experience, you'll find the negotiation process very simple and worthwhile.

Hi Gene, How do you determine the market value ? Even after I went to dnsaleprice.com I still couldn't figure out how you set the price/value. I think the question will be asked by a lot of potential buyers also. Could you please elaborate more on this ? And also, will you provide helps to your members (especially newbies like me ) in order to market the website & finally getting orders ?Thanks in advance. |

Hi Mac, There are many ways to determine Market Value. I normally tend to undervalue and list the low side of the market value as I just don't like to create a false market. dnsaleprice.com is one resource I use, and of course my own past sales experience tells me exactly what to expect for certain domain names. I've been selling domain names since the late 90's, so I know what the market will bear. It's important also to realize there is no concrete pricing structure that can be applied to a domain name. Each sale is truly a unique situation. Regardless of what the average market value seems to be, a domain name is worth exactly what a buyer is willing to pay for it. A particular domain may easily be worth a few thousand to one buyer, while having a much lower value to another. Another great resource to learn about the value of domain names is DNjournal.com. There you can learn what domains are selling for currently in the real world. Yes, I provide ongoing help to my Members through the Membership site as well as personal contact. Thank you, Gene Quote:

Hi Gene, I had a few questions I'm sure you can answer. How many new domains do you refresh the site inventory with on a monthly basis? If I have domains that I want to sell on my site can a put them on there also? I look forward to you coming response. Thanks |

1) The number of new domains added depends on the number of domains sold by all Members. I have the resources to add 100+ new premium domains to the portfolio EVERY DAY. So that would be a max of 3,000+ domains every month. We're nowhere near close to that figure yet, as this Membership has only been open for about 8 weeks. The key point is, I will not oversell Memberships. Once we reach a level of collectively selling an average of 50 domains a day (which is half my capability), no new Memberships will be sold until that average is reduced. 2) Yes, you may add your own domains. You have full control of the entire website -- change it, add to it, take away from it -- however you like. Thanks! Gene | |

Glad I found this. Can anyone tell me if this can work with names I already own? i.e. can I add my own domains to the site? Also, any updates on how people are doing with this? Thanks! |

| >> Glad I found this. Can anyone tell me if this can work with names I already own? i.e. can I add my own domains to the site? Hi there gcintermed, The website we give you is completely customizable. You may edit it any way you want to. You can add your own names, create new pages, change the layout, graphics, etc. You will need to know basic HTML and/or PHP, or hire someone who does. I do provide a video training series in the member area showing you how to customize. >> Also, any updates on how people are doing with this? As in most opportunities, the level of success you achieve depends on your own ability, skill and motivation to promote. This is not a "money making system" or "set it and forget it" plan. It is simply a resource giving you access to a large portfolio of my own domain names (the same caliber domain names that I buy and sell myself). Those that take the time to study and learn the domain business do extremely well. Those that are looking for a magic pill or automatic sales fail miserably. Thanks, Gene |
