Hi Gary,

I used the article simply because of the amount of competition. There are over 13 MILLION competing sites. It's faster and easier to rank by using an article, but you can most definitely rank well with your website, too, if your competition is in "reality range".

My Physical Therapist's (I called him my "doctor", but he's actually a Physical Therapist) actual website is ranking number one in Google now, after having been at the bottom of page 6. That's not an article, either...that's his real site. So the links should work just fine for your blog.

Just a quick update... As you will know I submitted these links nearly 24 hours ago for the keywords Accountants Witney. By yesterday evening I had gone from position 45 to 29. This morning when I woke up and checked I was at 13. This is on google.co.uk and not google.com.

Not quite the firstpage, but it seems to be getting closer hour by hour.

Is it safe to submit your keyword and site to all these websites on one day? Wouldn't be that suspicious for Google?

I just got from page3 to page1 in google and in 3rd position.
I definately think these packets had something to do with it. ( I also stuffed my landing page with my keyword)

I will monitor it everyday and make sure I does not slips down.

No, you can put all these links up at once if you want to. As far as being penalized if you build them too fast, you'd have to have HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of the same kind of links to have that happen. "Natural
Linkbuilding" happens every day. How many links do you think I'd get TODAY if I had some sort of breaking news about the new US President Obama? What if I knew something about his background that no one else knew? I guarantee you, I'd get THOUSANDS.

The Drudge Report was "put on the map" the day he broke the news that President Clinton was having an indiscretion with a young intern named Monica Lewinsky. Not only did HUNDREDS of thousands of other sites link back to him that day, but many of them were NOT in the same niche. This is natural and expected by Google. What is NOT natural is building THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of links all in the same niche in one day. Then, you might be removed. But unless you are doing that, you have nothing to worry about.

That's great news, Karl. Keep building the links on a regular basis and you should keep your position and probably even move up.

Sometimes after moving up, you will see your site slip back to its original position. This happened with my Physical Therapist's website, too. But this is a temporary thing and your site will go back up in a very short time. I am not sure why this happens, but it's common. My Physical Therapist's website is right back up to the number one position in Google for all his keywords.

Yep, February's packet is ready. The packets are ready on the first of the month and go out in the 48 hour time period following, with everybody on the list having the packet in their inbox by the morning of the third day of the month. You should have gotten yours, if you are a subscriber. If you didn't, please PM me as soon as you see this so I can get it to you immediately. I truly apologize that you got missed somehow.

Hey Angela i have used your backlink packages to good effect on the article(s) i wanted to increase in the SERPS. But a particular ezinearticle that has reached 1# for it's and a couple of other keywords, has dropped in the rankings. It was 1# for a week. It is now sitting at number 4. Just wondering do garticles or squidoo lens have better staying power (if that makes sense)? Do they hold their position in the rankings better then ezinearticles?

Hi Maverick,

Thank you for the kind words. I've actually found that GoArticles has a lot more "staying power" than the rest of them. Ezinearticles can get to the top of Google by themselves sometimes, but they are not as "sensitive" to a backlink campaign as GoArticles is. I am not sure why that is.

However, if you are at number 4 now, that might just be a temporary thing and it could go back up to number one soon.

Okay... I have to jump in and add my 2 sense.. I started getting Angela's packets in November. my site is new about 8 months old. when i started I had a PR1..( had done some back linking and directory submissions)
Since November, I jumped to PR3, and am on the first, second or third page of google for many keywords. my traffic has increased significantly. It is a dog site and pretty competitive.

I can ONLY contribute this to Angela's great links... and what a steal!!five bucks??!! and she is a great gal on top of her terrific service.. always returning emails, and you can 'hear' her great attitude.

Yes it is a bit time consuming, but it actually gives you a sense of accomplishment, and then to see your pages rise in the SE..!!it makes it all worth it.. and besides it gets easier as you go along... so there you have it, my 2 sense ... Angela has my vote...way to go girl!

Thanks for the fast reply. You are always very punctual. Maybe i should write some articles at GoArticles i have never really used them. Would you have any idea what their CTR (on average, i know it depends on the aricle) is? And how does it compare to EZA? I imagine their CTR could be better then EZA because GA doesn't have adsense that i have noticed .

I am not sure exactly what the CTR is for GA because I haven't really analyzed it yet, but I know that the article itself is getting a great deal of traffic. I suppose that most article directory would be similar.

Yeah, I haven't noticed any Adsense either on GA. So you most likely won't have people being distracted by another ad on the page and clicking away from your article on that directory. So that's another plus, too.

Yes, these links can be used for a blog very effectively. They can actually be used for anything that has a URL.

yeah.. i did heard that thing a couple times.. people actually called it "Google Dance" (SEO expert in my place call it that way).. so i dont think you got to worry about anything when that happend as your site will get its position back in near time..

Yep. I've heard several other people talk about this as well and the sites always seem to get their position back afterwards. It's kind of puzzling while it's happening, though. It's good to know it's temporary.

Shock horror!

My ranking have got dramatically worse over night. The main keyword that I was promoting using this package was Accountants Witney. On Tuesday when I got the Febuary package in was in the serps and #44, yesterday it was at #9 on the first page as promised by Angela. Today however I got a shock when I see that it is now at #78... Thats worse than when I started.

Has anyone else noticed this rather negative side-effect?

I brought a January's packet too yesterday, but I dont think that I will b using it now... Disapointing...

Remember we mentioned that this is normal, Burtie? The same exact thing happened to my Physical Therapist's website. He got to number one, stayed there for a few days, then went back to the bottom of page 6; lower than he was before. That did not last long. He came back up to number one and that's where his site remains.

I don't know why Google does this, but it happens all the time. If I were you, I would do January's packet because when your site comes back, it will most likely come back even higher than it was before. If you need me to, I can take a look and see what I can do to help.

I hear you, Burtie. That whole "Google dance" thing can be pretty disturbing while it's happening. It seems to be pretty common, but short lived, and that's good.

I suspect January's links will get you even higher on the page. For the US search you are already number one, so it shouldn't take too many more good links to get your site "above the fold" and in a really good spot on the UK search results.

Also vary your anchor text, looks very unnatural if every site linking back to you uses the same anchor text.

Yes, you're right about that. What I have done is I have included a couple of sites in the packets where you must either use your name for the anchor text (if you don't, it will look spammy) or you can only place your URL; no "text". I did this so that things stay "mixed up" enough to look more like natural linkbuilding.

I always pop back in now and again to see how you are doing. I am so happy for this subscription. I keep promising to get go back and get the three months I missed...but I always run out of time! Look out for that PM...

Anyway, I wanted to write and thank you specifically for how successful, you have made my articles. Especially with top ranked articles. If they are sitting at the top, I don't mess with them. But every now and then one might slip a couple notches. And that slip could cost me hundreds of dollars a day. However, I just crack open your blacklinks volume. And just apply a few links. Next day, sometimes, within hours. I am back at the top. Again, I don't throw the entire arsenal. Just a few.

Once an article slipped from #1 to #7 on the first page. It didn't take more than 10-15 links to get back to number one. Again, I do just enough to move it...as I don't want to have it "disappear" for a day or two while Google does its thing.
