Great question...I think the #1 most important thing in terms of sales is niche or topic selection. Think cookbooks, health & fitness, family & parenting, pets, etc. Like James says in his training, the demographic is generally women 25-55 years old, so think of "How to" topics that would be of interest to them.

JMSD - You're right...Formatting your book in HTML will definitely improve the appearance of your manuscript.

In my opinion, it just takes too much time to be worth it, and it's very difficult for the beginner without those skills in the first place to pull it off. That's why I recommend the Word doc format for your Kindle submission.

Thanks Jay,

February update.

1) 51 books sold, 1 refund. average sale price is $4.81, (some clever clogs will work out my Feb royalty from those figures)

2) For a few days in Feb one of my books topped its category on Amazon UK, that makes me a bestselling author. feelsgoodman.jpg (My mom is pleased lol).

3) More books = more sales. I have not uploaded a book in February, personal issues have prevented me from working on this method, travel, minor illness, flood cleanup in my city, NZ earthquake charity work. It's been a very stressful month for me.

4) (Now for the best part) This is an ongoing thing, if I never do anymore work on this method, I will most likely collect $100-200 a month for the rest of my life. There is no limit to the amount of money you can make with this method.

Am I right in thinking that the "Kindle Secrets Video Training" video's are for people that want to write their own ebook?

I just want to use plr, so do I concentrate on the "Quick-Start-Guide-James-Jones-Training"?

When using the template, the title and the authors name are quite far apart.
Are the spaces there for a reason, so it looks right on kindle?
