This is my very first WSO. I have been member of the forum for about a year, but have been quietly learning and taking action.

I am running this WSO because I need to earn some extra money to visit my sister in New York. She's sick and it would mean the world to her if me and my kids can come see her for Christmas.

One thing that I do is freelance keyword research. Some people don't have the time or the desire to do keyword research, but they understand the importance of proper keyword selection. Good keyword phrases make traffic generation much easier. Choosing poor keyword phrases generally results in trying to squeeze orange juice out of a rock.

In my countless of hours doing this freelance work, I come across many keyword phrases that look fantastic in terms of SEO effectiveness (lots of searches and few competing pages) but just don't fit in with the project I am working on for my clients.

So if I am doing keyword research in the quit smoking niche for a client and I come across a keyword phrase involving a "smoker" (the kind used to cook foods) that has 400 daily searches and 45 competing Google webpages, I don't just disgard it. I started a list and add to it whenever I make new finds.

That list has grown to 358 keyword phrases that I believe should easily generate consistent daily traffic. (Actually, it's a larger than that. I'll explain more later).

These keyword phrases are on hundreds of topics. But they all have one thing in common. Lots of people are searching for them, and there's not much information on them.

What this means to you is that you will have a much easier time generating traffic to them. How you monetize them will depend on the keyword phrase and you're experience.

It might be Adsense or an affiliate program. Maybe even a CPA campaign. Or a combination of a few different methods.

If you are like me, the most frustrating thing about being involved in internet marketing is generating a consistent amount of traffic. You might have found the perfect affiliate product to promote or created an awesome blog, but if you can't make traffic, you can't make money.

Article and bum marketering gurus tell you to look for keyword phrases that have less than 20,000 competing pages and get searched for at least 30 times per day.

How's that working for you?

I struggled for a long time with bum marketing using the above keyword phrase requirements. And then I happened to find a keyword phrase that got 350 daily searches and 4,000 competing pages.

I finally started to make money. How? I wrote two articles based around that keyword phrase. I posted one on a blog (along with 2 Adsense blocks and 1 affiliate link) and the other on Ezinearticles.com pointing back at the blog. That's it. It took me about one hour total (from start to finish).

That was three months ago. From that one hour of work (on a great keyword phrase), I get about $11 a month in Adsense and $15 a month in affiliate commissions. That's $26 a month.

Now, I know that $26 a month doesn't seem like much. But after the initial article writing and blog set up, I haven't spent a single minute on it.

What if I wrote more keyword rich articles? More posts? Generating backlinks? Other marketing and SEO strategies?

And that's from a single keyword phrase. I am selling 358 of them. Some just as good. Some WAY, Way better.

You must be asking: why would you think of selling these keyword phrases and adding the amount of competition you have?

Well, the first reason I already mentioned. My sister is at a dark time in her life and it would mean the world to her if I could be there with her.

Secondly, I am limiting the sales of the keyword phrase package to just 20 people. And I'm not offering resell rights or PLRs.

This mean that just 20 people (well, 21 people if you include me) will have these same keyword phrases. And if you consider that many people won't market the same way (or at all), and that people will focus on different keyword phrases, I am confident that there will be plenty of profit for the 21 people to have.

Ok, there just isn't enough room to give you the stats on all of the keyword phrases. The average daily search volume is 852.5

I have the list sorted by the amount of competing pages. It starts at 100 and goes up to 9790 at the maximum. Here's an image of the top of the list.

Do you see the potential here?

Monetizing the keyword phrases may take come creativity at times, but when you are getting so many searches with so little competition, you should have some traffic to test out different strategies.

My goal is to create minsite sites/blogs targeted around the keyword phrases and generate residual passive income.

Do you think you can get on the first page of Google with it?

Not only will you be able to rank higher on Google, but you will be able to maintain that ranks for much longer (because there's so little competition).

Hi....

I have gotten a number of requests on how to use this wide variety of long tail keyword phrases. Well, there are a few options. Here's some ideas:

1. Create blogs/niches specific to an individual keyword phrase. So if one phrase is generating 300+ daily searches and 250 competing sites, developing a tightly focused blog/site around it will help your chances of ranking higher for it.

2. Group together a few related keyword phrases, and create a blog/website around them. If you do it correctly, you will be able to rank your blog/site higher for multiple keyword phrases.

3. Create a monster blog/website that focuses on ALL of the keyword phrases. The goal here is not to rank the entire site itself high in the search engines but rather, to rank the individual pages high. Each page will focus tightly around one keyword phrase. Each page will also have its own form of monetizatio (some keywords work better with Adsense, others with affiliate programs, etc).

Currently, I am doing all three of these. The thing is, even after you get your blog/site created, you still need to market it.

The way I am doing this is by creating third part paths back to the blog/site using the keyword phrases again.

So using the keyword phrases list, I am creating keyword-rich articles on Ezinearticles.com, hubs on Hubpages.com, blogs on Blogger.com, and lenses on Squidoo.com. These not only rank high in the search engines, but they actually rank higher and quicker than my blog/site because they are authority sites.

Creating these third party "paths" not only bring in traffic, but the additional backlinks will help your blog/site rank higher in the SERPs.
