It's tough to coach one-on-one, because internet marketing can be such an
individual approach, to every niche, to every product, to every keyword, so
I am glad you are getting something out of my coaching.

I think watching me start from scratch to hitting a $100 day, and doing it with
long-term approaches, will further help people start taking action.

Well Ted this is the 64-million dollar question, but the truth is that (and I don't care
what any guru says) - you just never know.

My business model is with a long-term approach, yet making short-term sales.

I believe in getting good and snug with a niche site until it is making substancial
income, then moving onto another one, then another, then another.

Now the niches I like to work with are those that solve problems, but with physical
products, which means that you want to not only write and submit articles, but you
also want to add articles to your own site.

And for stuff people are really looking to buy, going into those types of niche forums
and answering questions alone could make $100 per day easily.

So, 1 site, lots of articles, and lots of posting help in those types of niche areas (forums),
and getting organically listed for lots of keywords will not only get you making the
daily profit you want...

... it will also turn into passive income.

Are you asking about costs in general to run an affiliate business?

That could be as little money you have or as much as you want to spend if
paid advertising is your cup of tea (instant traffic).

I personally will be video-documenting reaching a $100 day in affiliate sales through
nothing that costs money, but indeed costs time in work - article marketing
and other non-paid means.

So besides hosting and the domain purchase, the rest is simply hard work.

And I want to be extra clear for anyone new interested in this:

This is a video work-documentation of the clearest route to getting
an affiliate site up and making good money.

My methods are long-term, with lots of article marketing, and tender-loving
care (treating these sites like a real business).

1) Choose a niche - they are everywhere.
2) Research the top selling sites in that niche who use PPC.
3) Model your pages & affiliate products after those examples.
6) Start building backlinks (article marketing & forums).
7) Add regular content to your site for future organic traffic.

It's that simple, with a few minor details of course.

I commend you for staying focused. It's one of the biggest things that can
separate those that succeed online from those that fail due to jumping back
and forth, back and forth - never really putting full steam into 1 project.

And yes, the videos will be available in the future, but probably only to members
of this forum.

I have no interest in selling this to the public.

which, should you approach your online affiliate marketing in this manner, is all you

Jason I personally believe that all products work, and of course
there is more money to be made with promoting digital products.

However, I do have a preference for real-life products like cosmetics,
DVDs, etc.

Quick question, in the adsense thread you mention that you need lots of content for adsense websites. You said, the adsense website has 319 articles, now I do not know if that is all origianl content written by you or not, but my question is do you need nearly that many articles for the IM website you are working on now to get it started and up to $100.00 a day. The reason I ask is b/c I would outsource the article writing, but 319 articles is awfully expensive.

The only real and honest answer to this very common question is:

It is impossible to know.

I could write 10 articles and get them published in right places and make
$100 day in sales.

Or it may take me 100 articles, maybe 200.

The Long-term Mindset

When approaching your business via SEO and long-term passive income via
the search engines, it should be an ongoing adventure of getting your site
out there, through article marketing and any other means you can find.

So I do not advise anyone to try to nail down numbers before they even
start. Just get your site up, start taking action on the basics, then tweak
as you go.

This is a "Ready, Fire, AIM" business.

Your other option is PPC and other paid/direct advertising, which sends
immediate traffic without having to write any articles, and is making
people rich every day (every minute actually).

Hi mohd,

First I need to clarify that this is a video documentation of every little detail
of my work to getting this site to hit a $100 day in sales in a few weeks without
paid traffic.

So although it can be considered a "course", it's more of step-by-step action case
study that you can use and copy for your own niche sites.

As far as the number of articles, I have no set amount planned each day. I will do
as much as I can, but working only part-time on this site.

And finally, outsourcing is of course a good option to keep your work load down, but
make sure that you know exactly what type of articles you want to have written and
the specific style geared towards your niche.

Personally, I may outsource at times, but I prefer to really get close with my niche
sites and write my own stuff, simply because I know what I want when I am writing.

Good question and one that I can easily say this:

Social networking is obviously known to do some good things for marketers,

However...

Do not let the latest and greatest trends keep you too busy from what has worked
to keep sites in plain view and getting lots of attention, which are, in my opinion:

1) A Purpose (quality content giving the reader exactly what he/she is looking for.

2) Quality backlinks (which in my opinion has been article marketing, and will be
article marketing for a long time to come.

So I guess my personal answer to you is, no, I do not plan on spending much time
with social networking at all.

I prefer to stay focused on my goals, especially my long-term SEO goals.

You can probably tell by the fact that I have a 2004 join date and a post count of 2 that I do not spend too much time talking on forums or giving testimonials. With that said I can honestly state that John's videos are solid. The only problem is that the content might be lost on some due to the simplicity.

For me personally the videos have sharpened my focus. I haven't exactly learned anything new(no magic bullets) but I have gotten two real big items of value - proof of concept and a simplified process.

You can really change your reality by watching someone else do something you have an idea will work. To see them doing what you were thinking about doing and hear them talk about others that are profiting with this method is very motivating. It helps you get unstuck.... removes the fear.

The simplified step by step process also gets you moving. I've done more work in the past week than I did in all of last year. Get the videos, do exactly what he tells you and you will profit in the long term.

The reason I am giving this rare testimonial is that he is also going the extra mile and answering questions along the way. Answering emailed questions is time consuming and I appreciate it.
