I've been keeping a secret...

My secret involves a secret weapon, a "tool", which I developed for my own use. Until now, I've held off on sharing it, except for a WSO a few days back in late 2006 & the WSO I ran for it a few weeks ago.

You see, I had a couple of ebooks (outside the IM market, and under a pen name) from early 2006 through late 2007. Due to some lucky timing, I was able to get some decent traffic to my sales sites very easily. They converted pretty well too. But after I implemented the Magic Clickbank Template on my sites, my conversion rates increased by an average of nearly 50%!

Yes, you heard me right... 50 PERCENT.

I made no other changes to my sales letters - I only implemented the Magic Clickbank Template & ran some split-tests.

I've tested on ebook sales, because that's all I've sold so far outside of IM. But there's no reason the Magic Clickbank Template shouldn't work for software, videos, and any other digitally delivered products that you can sell through Clickbank.

I'll be happy to answer your general questions on the Magic Clickbank Template - but I'm not going to give too much away here. Here are a few additional notes about it:

- Very Easy to Implement. Nothing "techie" about it at all, as long as you know basic HTML. There's no PHP, Javascript, special server setup, cron jobs, etc.

- This isn't "black hat", "sneaky", or "devious" in any way, nor does it break any Clickbank or AdWords terms of service as far as I can tell. It IS a very clever idea though! (If I do say so myself!) You will need to be "open" to follow what your testing shows, despite your own personal preferences.

- Does not involve redirects, pinging, RSS, link exchanges, iframes, email, cloaking, writing articles, submitting articles, blogging, directories, ezines, advertising, etc.

- Beyond normal domain and hosting costs, you do NOT have to spend any extra money to implement this secret. There are no extra hidden or recurring costs involved to implement this secret.

- Yes, it's still working! Again, I've only used it & tested it outside of the Internet Marketing niche. I see no reason why it would stop working any time soon, because it takes advantage of one of those little "quirks" of human nature!

- Suitable for all Clickbank merchants, and Clickbank affiliates who write their own sales letters. (It would not be useful for affiliates who drive traffic directly to merchant sales letters).

I've never seen this secret revealed anywhere, except in my previous WSO - not in forums, not in ebooks, not in seminars, and not in private membership sites. It may have been mentioned somewhere at some time in some dark corner of the web, but that would be a surprise to me. I've been a part-time marketer since 1998, and full-time since 2004, so I pretty much know what's going on in IM. (Edit: I've learned that the general concept was discussed at the Warriors at one point. Even so, the technique as applied to Clickbank wasn't discussed. Not to mention that the files and Wordpress theme to actually implement the concept at Clickbank weren't available as they are with this WSO).

And, to be perfectly honest - when I read the PDF, and reviewed
the files, it went against everything I believed in ...

But, it's this exact "counter-intuitive" thinking that improves sales,
and I know this will improve my conversion rates.

One thing you failed to mention is ...

This template will save you time. I mean - really. It will save you time.
Plus, it will save you money. And, the final killer? It makes you more money.

Is the WP template SEO? I write my own copy or sales letters as a Clickbank affiliate so as you state this product will work well. Most of my stuff is WP driven.

Are you asking if it's SEO-optimized? It's a standard WP template - I didn't add or take away anything that would normally be present with WP. There are no plugins, etc. I left that to each individual to add as they wish.

sounds interesting. I have a new product im releasing outside of the IM niche, I already have my sales page done......would I need to change the text on my sales page for this to work or what? Basically I do not feel like doing my sales page over, so would it be easy to use this with my current sales page? Thanks

Vincent - Yes, I use it with regular static HTML pages myself. The Wordpress theme is included for those who prefer to work only with WP, or who might want to have a matching blog in addition to their static site / sales page.

Corey - No text changes are necessary. You'd just need to copy/paste the HTML for your salesletter itself (not the design portion) into this template.

Umm ... I couldn't resist finding out what you are up to lol. You sly devil you!

Personally, I don't know why people haven't thought of this sooner, but the outline you gave in your PDF for use is well worth the price. It took me all of 5 minutes to get thru most of it, and was banging my head thinking I should have known this one.

I haven't checked it out yet of course, but I can see where you get your 50% conversion rate from just by looking things over.

Thanks for your nice comment, glad it was inspiring to you!

As for your question - the Clickbank order form is under their control, so you couldn't see the stats. However, you could use one of the many available redirect scripts (link-cloakers) so that it would count how many times your Order button is clicked. That would give you pretty much the same number.

I am not sure if it is the download or that I am not installing your WSO correctly. I cannot bring up the template. I get the PDF ok. But I can't bring up any video or template. Where should I look? There is one file I bring up and I get an error saying my computer does not support it for security reasons???

Hi Franko,

There should be a main directory Magic CB Template, then under that, do you see two directories - MagicCB HTML and MagicCB WP Theme - along with the PDF?

There is no video. Under the MagicCB HTML folder, you should be able to double click the .html file there. On the WP Theme, you'll need to install that to WP as a new theme.

Can you tell me which file(s) you're clicking on that bring up the security message? What operating system? What browser?

Hi Legacymaker,

Customizing it would defeat the purpose. In other words, there's really no need or point in customizing it, other than adding in your own sales letter (and possibly other content).

A plain HTML version and a matching Wordpress theme are included. It's primarily designed for sales letters (best for non-IM products), so Joomla is probably overkill for its purpose.

Heh heh heh very clever I have actually implemented this technique somewhere else (I won't say where because people might figure it out) but never thought about it for Clickbank. Is it working on the other site? Well it's too early to say because not all the site has changed yet but I'm sure it will once it goes live fulltime.
