Money is often a Christmas, shower, wedding, graduation, or going-away gift. It should always be presented in the most attractive and interesting way possible. The special occasion or circumstances will usually suggest an idea. After the money is arranged, it should be gift wrapped so that when the package is opened the surprise will be complete.

CHECK BOOK A check book from a local bank is the foundation. The blank checks are removed and crisp new bills are attached lightly to the check stubs with Scotch Tape. An appropriate verse or slogan should be added to the cover.

LIPSTICK What a pleasant surprise this will be! What looks like an attractive lipstick will, when opened, disclose a tightly rolled greenback.

FAN A strip of firm white paper is the foundation. Cut it 6 1/2" wide and long enough to accommodate the required number of crisp new bills when they have been folded lengthwise into 9/16" pleats. Decorate the top edge of the paper with lace paper cut from a doily before it is pleated. Place the pleated bills on the paper and hold all together at the bottom with spool wire. Add flowers and ribbon bows.

BOX OF CIGARS A bill, folded in half lengthwise, is wrapped around each cigar. It is held in place with a band of gold ribbon cut to the correct length to go around the cigar and taped in place.
