You need the region selection for Singapore or any other of the available local Yahoo Answers.

But it's on the 'do to' list, which my programmer informed me today should be completed in about a week.

So here's the planned new features:

- status bar (next run time, etc)

- category selection (.com US only)
- region selection
- delayed posting option (when first adding keyword)

hmm.. i don't think u can built forums on that plugin coz this is a wordpress plugin, designed specially for wp blogs..
unless you can get a programmer to customize the featured into some script to automate your forum..

Yes, you setup a keyword/phrase and you select which category to add the posts, you can have multiple keywords all running at the same time and adding to multiple cats.

The wso is still live, and the coupon has not expired and still working as I've still had sales. And I just tried to double check and it worked fine. The coupon is already appended to the url, so when you select one of the options and click through to paypal the discount is applied.

Now, I just want to let others know that
wp-answers plugin has one vital advantage
compared to caffeinated content. I tested
both plugins and this is my conclusion.

Caffeinated content can populate your blog
with questions and answers at the time you
run it. But it will at the same time ping the search engines
for every post. This can get your blog banned.

Now you can reduce the number of immediate pings using
maxblogpress' ping optimizer plugin, but this also means
that you 'lose' those pings. If all those posts could be
shedulled, the blocked pings would be very useful from seo
point of view.

You can also define the end date in the future in CC,
BUT the majority of content will be pulled
immediatelly. Only one smaller number of posts
will be shedulled as the future posts.

Wp-answers lets you shedulle all posts, there is no
massive pinging, no need to use additional plugins
to reduce it, and you don't lose any pings.
Besides that, wp-answers is totally hands-free once
you set the keywords and post frequency.
There is no set date in the future where you have to
run it manually again.

I didn't like that WP Answers would show the retrieved content in the comments section of my sidebar even if I set it for me to moderate. You said that was going to fixed soon so that would not appear. Has that been fixed yet?

If you set everything Caffeinated Content gathers as "moderated" (meaning that you will have to approve it before it posts to your site), does it still automatically put the title of the post in recent comments -- even before you have approved it?

So not sure why the need to also now ask about it in the thread and then about CC as well, as I did confirm the bug and my programmer was working on it! but I now have the latest release back from my programmer and getting it ready to release to customers tomorrow.

Why did I ask if the bug has been fixed...again? Well, its been a couple weeks since we talked about this and only through asking will I know if the bug has been fixed, right? Right. Its simple - when the bug is fixed, I get to start using the program I bought from you a month ago.

You wanted to know why I asked if CC has the same issue... I asked because IF the bug in WP Answers is not fixed - or can't be fixed, then I may have to resort to using CC.

1.) It doesn't use the cron in cpanel, no. It has it's own type of cron built-in.

2.) No the Yahoo API does not offer any filter option.

I've been using your WP Answers for the last month and just wanted to let you know how great I think it is! I use it in what is probably a different way than most (I think) in that I enter my keywords and set it to "pending" and then I use the questions and answers I get back as idea's for content for my site.

A suggestion for future updates if possible would be if it could somehow show how many words are in a given post as I scan down the 'posts' page...or possibly set it up so that it will only grab questions that are at least 100 words or whatever.

Anyway, its a great plugin and thanks again for developing it!

How many keywords can you run on this or how many post per day can you do before Google has a look at your blog and decides to deindexed it? and if I use your youtube plugin how many a day on that one as well or if I am using both of them how many post per day would be ok with Google???

It's impossible to answer that question!

But if it's a new blog, I wouldn't add too many post per day. As it's not natural and will get flagged. For older blogs the post frequency can be increased, I mix mine with unique content and only post 3-5 posts a day. I have multiple keywords setup, although the run dates are spread across weeks, so I don't have the same keyword adding a new post every day.

I've seen a few customers adding 30-50 posts a day and that to me is far too many, and that will get them flagged.

Re: how many keywords can you run.

You can run unlimited keywords with the Elite version, but it's the post frequency that you need to watch. On a shared server, it's going to have a limit on the server resources per account, that will vary depending on the host. I think I've had 2 customers that were contacted by their host about server resources. They were adding far too many posts across multiple blogs on the same account.

I purchased the Lite version for testing purposes and this wordpress plug works like a charm. I plan on purchasing the Developers Version soon. I really like this product.

There is one feature that I am unable to get working. This is the Humanize feature. I have a search setup and have the humanize feature and all answers selected. When the run time it reached it immediatly posts the question and all of the answers. The only problem I see is that everything is posted together. It would be nice if the answers are posted at different time intervals.

Has anyone been able to get the Humanize option to work? I am using Wordpress 2.8.4

The humanize feature only helps by adding new posts at random between 1-60 minutes on the next run time. It doesn't post the comments at different time intervals.

It would probably cause some issues with the server resources if it did have that feature. Unless you were on a dedicated server, so the decision was made not to add.

I have a question.

Does this only collect and post NEW questions and answers? Or will it post ALL questions and answers?

For instance one niche I am in, there are currently 4,768 results for the main keyword, can I set it to collect ALL of those (over time of course)?

And if it does, I am guessing it wont duplicate and post the same question twice.

Since this thread is around a year old, I would like to ask a few questions, especially from those who bought the plugin a while back:

1) Do you guys monetize your sites with this plugin? If yes, with what, Adsense, CPA, other aff stuff?

2) Are your sites still indexed? Are they still getting traffic?

3) Neil, on your demo site, those Qs and As look pretty "thin". I understand it's a demo site but it doesn't exactly make me think a blog like that would get good traffic or last long in the serps. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I've tried CC and did get a little traffic but noticed it waned shortly after so if I purchased, I would like to know (especially from past customers) if posting yahoo answers really has any longevity to it.
