Ok, here is my review. I used a twitter account I had set up not too long ago. I did absolutely nothing with it. So there were no "following" or "followers" at all. Everything was at zero.

OK, you don't even need to wait until morning for my review.

It does what it says. I found it intuitive, but I must admit that I have a lot of experience with "bare bones" user interface-type software. Still, I don't think it's intimidating at all.

Also, sometimes independent software tends to be buggy, this seemed very stable to me.

I created a brand new account, did a search, it followed the people (I checked in the browser) and a few of them are already following me back. Great result!

What the traffic generation possibilities are long term remains to be seen, but I see lots of possibilities.

I have a couple of questions -

1) Can you tweet through the interface? I didn't see where you could, but that would be a really useful addition, since all of the usernames and passwords are saved in there.

2) Is there a global "added" list so that accounts that you're following on one account won't get followed on another?

3) It would be cool to have a "notes and logs" section for each account, so that we could see when we last followed people, when we last tweeted, when we last removed people, what the niche focus of that account is, and some saved tweets to send out.

Overall, I'd say GREAT piece of software!

Easy to install, very little set up required and the
only problem I experienced was having to input
my user id and serial number at each programme
start up.

I used FriendAdder to create a new test account,
set it at its slowest rate and added 173 followers
to my Twitter test account overnight.

My review is similar to John's. I found having to re-register each time the application was opened to be a pretty big hassle.

I downloaded and installed the program and didn't use the "Readme", just messed around with it and got it to work pretty easily. Would have been even easier had I followed the directions posted in this thread.

The program did what Lively Browser said it would, and that's find and add friends to your Twitter account quickly and automatically. I didn't test the feature that removes folks that don't follow you back, as I didn't have time to let the folks added have enough time to add me back.

I also liked that there were different random time options, so you weren't contacting Twitter on a precise schedule, which should go a long way in camouflaging that the adding of friends is being automated.

Bought it last night.

1. Followed the instructions in initial post above.

2. Started the delete people not following me feature and went to bed. This morning, the log data showed 477 deleted.

Love the log feature.

3. Setup a add friend run for 100 this morning. It ran in the background, checked later and the run was done.

Amazingly simple to use and does what it's supposed to do without problems.

This is my review of the product which I bought last night:

The extraction and installation of the product was very straightforward, quick and easy. I tried to click on all the buttons to see what they did and I do believe it is a very easy product to use. I never read any instructions and I was a little confused as to how to add friends using the 'follow' or 'follower' syntax. However, the software, when it gave the error message, gave the proper syntax to use and after that it was clear sailing.

I used the add friends by keyword search option and let it run in the background. It worked like a charm and within a few hours the job was complete. I was a little shocked when I went in to my email inbox with all the notifications and direct messages! I will have to have an email addy just for Twitter now that I will be adding so many people! However, as previous posters have mentioned, use this tool sensibly and it will be a benefit for all users.

I believe the value of a tool like this has recently been increased. There is a report making the rounds of the forum as to how best to use Twitter. The method that this report suggests for adding friends quickly didn't work for me as I believe Twitter has gotten wind of it and made a change (or maybe I am just ignorant and couldn't follow directions...entirely possible! :-) ). Anyway with this Friend Adder tool it will be an absolute breeze to add and remove friends at a good clip.

Great product and very simple to use. I have a couple of twitter accounts but I am using the software to build up followers on a new charity website that I am starting. I have been conservative about the number of friends that I add automatically but it works great!

So far I have over 100 people following me and I'm sure it will go much higher.

This software does what it says it will do, it is very easy to install and configure. From download to actual operation may have taken 3 to 5 minutes as I had to verify my Twitter account login information. I have run it 2 times with outstanding results.

I don't wish to bore you and make you read the same things again. But, to give you an honest review, I have to repeat many of the previous answers.

Install to production was less than 10 minutes. That includes the registration, adding an account, and adding 10 followers.

I won't give away exactly how the software works, but I had been using the same methods manually.

I would search twitter looking for usage of certain keywords, then follow the people using them. Or I would find certain people I wanted to follow, and then follow many of the people they follow or that are following them.

FriendAdder, uses the same methods.

Here is a big difference. Last week a friend setup a quick script, that says follow him and his friends and they will follow you.

Well, it took 35 minutes to follow 130 friends, and with-in 2 days I had about 100 new followers. That was great.

But with friendadder. I can find 100 friends to follow in a 35 second process.

All i have to do is put in a keyword or a friends names, choose a number to add and a timeframe between adds.. Done.


And like others I must caution you to take care in using it, without self control. Even if you just used it once a day to find 100 people to follow, in 2 weeks you would be following over 1,000 people. And a good number of them would have returned the favor.

I have added quite a few manually in a short time frame, and not seen such a message.

But if that is something that concerns you and it is valid, you can choose to vary the add intervals up to 5 minutes. So , like my friend Ron says, set it and forget it.

a small group of us began looking at twitter this week.

We discovered it can take a while to search twitter manually, but this tool does it very quickly.

I typed in a search, and kept the adds at low counts.

Some people began to follow back already.
