I got mine about a month ago using a "blogger" blog with 1 article.

Ya know google loves blogger (they own it), and the application (to get adsense) is built in.
(got that tip from the "Niche Blogger", another WSO)

Yes, this will help you to build the website. For hosting and domain names you have a lot of choices. I use namecheap.com for my domain name (don't forget to search for a coupon). Most people start out with an inexpensive host, such as hostgator.com

Yes you can.

Yes, each page can have it's own custom title, keyword and description meta tags.

How does it determine these page elements:

page name,
meta title,
meta description,
article headline?

I would really like to able to specify that stuff in each article file then import that into a template in one go - does it work that way?

Also curious about it passing html. Does it handle other tags? Img tags? <bold>? Not that important though.

The Privacy policy thing is rather neat. Wish it did About Us too. But heh, I could just put those in an article file right? But curious how the page name would be determined.

If I understand the question correctly, you can enter each of those elements individually for each page. If you do not choose a meta title it will use the title of the article by default.

Yes, you can use HTML in your articles and it will be passed on into the website. Any html is allowed and will work.

The page would be named according to the top line in the file that it imported. If the top line was "Privacy Policy" the page would be named privacy-policy.html

Hi Tim

So, in my article files I could have something like this:

------cheese.txt

Title: The best cheese
Meta Description: Great article about cheese
Meta Keywords: Cheese, world cheese, brie

<h1>Three Ways In Which Cheese Changed My Life</h1>

$ADSENSE$

Article par 1

Article par 2

--------

Then I would just import that, and in one go the program would create those elements in the page?

Am I close? If not, could you give me an example?

You would have the option to change the meta tags and the onpage title (in H1 tags) inside of the program.

The privacy policy for the pages is generated by a program that was updated on March 23, 2009 to reflect the changes with the DoubleClick Dart Cookie.
