What's why I'm sooooooo glad that I made sticky notes (comments) along the way, as I would have forgotten what I learned and what I already read. I do hope that others are keeping notes as well (this is sooo easy because it's in PDF format and not Word). I made sticky notes (comments) on every important detail that I read and wanted to go back to re-read. Trust me, by using a sticky note (comment), it makes your life so easy to back-track to the areas of the book that is most significant to YOU. In my case, I must have made AT LEAST 60+ stickies (comments) that I want to refer back to and read over and over again!

There's just waaaaaaaaay toooooo much incredible stuff to remember.

Here is a method which may be a little clumsy, but it works.

1. Download Fineprint FinePrint Software

2. Install Fineprint.

3. The first time you use Fineprint, you may need to run some tests so the system knows what how to handle the link between Fineprint and your printer. At least, this is the case with my duplex printer.

4. When ready to print the PDF, select Fineprint as your printer.

5. You should make your layout options selection (I often choose 4 up, depends on the legibility of the font) and REMOVE GRAPHICS.

6. Another nice feature is you can delete selected pages before printing, if you want to.

7. Unless you spring for the paid version of Fineprint, it will include a footer on every page. But hey, it works for me.

BONUS INFO:

8. With my duplex printer, I often take shorter instructional PDFs and select the "booklet" option. This gives me a nice little 5.5 x 8.5 printed document to take with me when I have time to read it. You can also duplex (print on both sides) manually if you don't have duplex printer.

For an IM newbie like me, questions on:

had given me some serious big time headaches...until I found this book!

I do not yet have some achievements to proof that this book is worth every dollar I invested in it (bought the buy +/- 2 days ago).
However, thanks to the information I get from this book now I can see the bright light at the end of the tunnel.

This is not one of those "get rich quick for the laziest" books.
You would still have to do your part of labour..so sorry about that..
But actually, that is the beauty of this book.
It gives your virtually endless possibilities and opportunities on how you could take benefit from it.

Even if later on you decided that IM is not your thing, you definitely still could use the resources cited in the book for other purposes as well e.g: to find those hard to find books/articles/reports you need to help you write your master/PhD degree thesis, boost your career, source of inspiration, or simply for own entertainment. Kneb is spot on when he says that the only limitation on how to use the information presented in this book is our imagination

If there is only one book I could recommend to my fellow warriors, this would be it.

I would just like to add my positive feedback for this product. I bought it yesterday and have just skimmed through the main ebook, but it has already shown me that this is the best book on tracking down public domain products that I have come across. The only (slight) complaint that I have is the background image that is used in the book -- it looks great, but will really chew through the ink cartridges when I print the book out -- all 283 pages of it!

And the bonuses included with the book are not the usual crappy 'bonuses' where you have to sign up for someone else's mailing list to download them, they are products written by some of the best in the business, and are genuinely worth at least ten times the cost of the package on their own! They also complement the ebook perfectly in that they are designed to help you to make a success of your public domain business.

My advice? Grab this quickly before Kneb takes it down again if you have any thoughts about using public domain products for your business, you won't regret it!

I honestly cannot imagine how someone cannot make profit from this. I just won't believe it. The possibilities are endless to what you can do!

I bought it this morning at around 11am EST and just finished it 10pm est. (I had a show to perform) So it roughly took me about 4 hours to read. The read was very entertaining and the layout was great. I can talk forever about it and will let everyone I know about it. Great job Kneb, an amazing piece right here!

Kneb, I've read and re-read your book on PD. My problem is focusing on ONE idea. I'm much like a child in a toy store. I pick one up, throw it down and on to another......I've got to discipline myself to focus....that's what I keep telling myself....."You've got to focus"

....and to anyone...I keep thinking about reproducing PD images and selling them offline. My thoughts were to matte/frame PD images and place them in decor shops on consignment.

I'm still unsure of the legalities and apprehensive....as I would have to have a commercial printer and matte materials....

What ya think? Forget It! - Get a real job - Maybe, do more research - Go for it

There's nothing technical about it at all. It's mostly examples of the kinds of things you can find that are in the public domain, and where you can find them. If you know what a URL is and how to type it into your browser, you're good to go.

The ebook describes a TON of SOURCES to locate Public Domain material, and a smidgeon of the things you can do with it.

How many variations of books like "Moby Dick" and "Think And Grow Rich" do you think are around? If you feel like rewriting it, that's up to you. The point is, you can do whatever you want with the material, since the copyrights have expired. The Good News is that your modified materials ARE subject to copyright. The Bad News is ... there could be hundreds or thousands of copies of unaltered original material floating around the web.

So, treat it as if it were a HUGE LIBRARY of PLR material that's just begging to be used.

The rest is up to YOU.
