are you talking about wherever you promote the product outside of your blog then direct linking to the affiliate sales page??

If that's correct, then I believe most marketers agree that unless the merchant's copy is out of this world that you should get better returns on conversions if you presell and explain why you recommend the product yourself rather than just "cold calling" sending them over.

Hi there Kesh,

Off the top of my head I'd estimate about 35 or so, plus I have a few html sites as well from my "early" days....but most of those have a blog in the directory now.

So you can see actually not so many. There's also a range of income coming from a range of niches and blogs but they all add up to a sizeable amount of income.

I often read that if you're not a good writer and/or not very knowledgeable about what you're selling (ie, affiliate marketing) - and I'm neither - then just hire a ghost writer ... for like $5.00 or so.

Well, first of all, how do I know if what he or she is writing is spot-on (since I'm not that knowledgeable about the subject, which is why I'm hiring some one in the first place); secondly, how good could the article be for only $5.00; and, lastly, how do I know that he or she isn't selling the same articles to others marketing the same niche product(s) that I am ... or for that matter, using them for himself or herself?

I am looking for an e-book that will explain certain things which I've heard about, think important or helpful, would like to learn more about - but don't know where to get more information about. Perhaps your e-book is a good source of knowledge about blogs & marketing. Do you go into things like:

1) When using a static home page and individual posts for content, does writing/publishing a new post (say, reviewing another, related product or service) attract the SE spiders as readily as does posting an article?

2) How should one go about promoting multiple (affiliate) products with reviews &/or articles: one big site, with the products grouped by category on the home/static page and links to individual pages (as posts) for the article(s) &/or review(s) about that product ... but then what about the domain name for any meaningful SEO (from the DN);
or,
do an individual blog for each product (each with their own DN ... all the better for SEO) ... but perhaps not getting the SEO benefit of all the traffic that a larger site with lots of products/reviews/articles might attract?

3) Best way to use DNs for SEO for such blogs ...

... for one large blog:

www.Product1.reviews.com versus www.reviews.com/Product1
www.Product2.reviews.com versus www.reviews.com/Product2
etc.

OR, would I get better SEO type results doing individual blogs with DNs like ...

It seems like you have to buy 10 or12 programs - and the several products they each recommend (as an affiliate) - in order to learn much of what you need to know ... and I'm afraid I just can't afford that.

You can make money on almost anything on the internet if you take action... there really isn't any secret formula out there that is going to help you if you do not do anything yourself.

As for Blog Inferno, it is a great guide to get your blog all set up and ready to go. Colleen has a good product here, and I recommend it if you are wanting to travel down the niche blogging path.

The one thing I didn't like about it is the Firepow promotion contained in the product. I was unimpressed with Firepow.

This is without a doubt the best step by step guide to not only using WordPress but actually making money with WP on the market today.

Hi Bernz,

I'd have around 30 blogs or so that are all making a variety of income every month. Some make thousands, some make a few hundred, some make a $1000. Ultimately it's not so much how much each blog makes every blog but the combined total that all blogs make.

As a guide, it's the 10th of February here in Australia and I've already made $11,000 this month online.

thanks for your kind words.

I think if you follow my system and what I teach you should be earning income within your first 60 days.

If I can give you myself as an example......after a few months I was earning $1000 per month, after a year about 4-5K per month, then six months after that it was $8K and then it jumped to $12, $15K etc.

It's just a matter of being consistent and persistent.

Special videos for 2.7 aren't needed because the only big difference between 2.7 and earlier versions (as far as working with the interface) is the way the menu is on the left side (which I don't like) but I'm using the Ozh plugin that puts pull down menu's back up at the top.

Yeah, there's over 70 videos included throughout the package, many specifically for wordpress but they are older WP versions but still are useful with the upgrade to the latest version of WP.
