I haven't read the whole book or worked my way through the fifty odd videos but so far I think it's excellent.
Colleen starts at the beginning, no assumptions about prior experience, phew!
The videos are tightly focused on the exact task you need to do.

Sure John....you may or may not be aware but Firepow was released in about July this year I think and a lot of niche bloggers have started to use it, me for one.

Can I firstly say that you don't ever need Firepow at all to be successful as a niche blogger but it is highly recommended if you can afford it or something similar as it can automate many of the tedious tasks which I won't go into here and cut down a lot of time on blogging on a regular basis.

I do discuss exactly what I do with firepow as it is my most up to date method as a niche blogger.

But I make it clear throughout what you should do if you are using firepow and what you should do if you aren't using it.

I made $8000 a month blogging before I started using firepow.

This has to be the best value product I have ever bought, and there has been a few.....

Not only does Colleen give away everything you need to know in terms of information, she goes several steps beyond that with the bonuses/extras provided by literally giving you all the pieces to the puzzle like templates, disclaimers etc etc etc etc.

At the risk of being sexist, I think that ladies write instructional stuff much clearer than the average male. Airy fairy instructions on how to, such as "promote your site using social bookmarking" are totally useless I find.

Colleen's book is spot on. I have been saying for a while that I must stopy buying "stuff", but I have no regrets with this. It's one of those rare products that is sufficient on its own. SHE TELLS YOU WHAT TO DO. All we have to do is do it.

Preface: I have never met Colleen, never spoken with her, never written to her and receive nothing if she sells any product. I'm not even putting a link in my signature to any of my own blogs so you know this is unbiased as it can get. Having said that:

This is the only time I have posted anything positive about an internet marketing product, and I have bought and read many of them since starting in this business over 2 years ago. For anyone who is on the fence about Colleen's product, here is my advice: BUY IT! Without a doubt and without any reservation, I will tell you that her book contains more useful information about blog marketing than anything I have ever read. And she presents it in an easy to read, easy to understand way that any newcomer can understand.

It's as if she took everything I knew after 2 years of studying and running blogs for profit and combined it with everything I never had the time to get to and added that to all the best information you can find in the forums AND put it in a format that does not produce information paralysis. I know that many times over the years I have had too much information presented and it resulted in my doing nothing. Colleen somehow presents even more information, but in a format that is more useful than if I had cobbled together all that information myself. Frankly, I don't know how she did it.

This is simply the BEST product of its kind that I have ever purchased. It's worth $27, $47, $147, whatever. If what she presents was delivered in the form of a semester-long college course (and it could be) the cost would be several thousand dollars and a lot more of your time.

For those of you wondering if what she proposes can be done in 2 hours a day and asked if it involves writing, in my experience the answers are "no" and "yes." Of course there is writing, this is blog marketing and blogs are generally made up of written posts. However, the posts are not long (200 words or so) and you will be surprised how much you already know about many, many subjects that you didn't even know you knew until you write about them. There are also tons of ways to find information that can make up posts - Firepow is a great source for that, but not necessary when you are first starting out.

As for articles that you use to promote your blog, they must be written too, and they are longer. However, if you have no time to write them, you can contract writers to do it for you very quickly and very cheaply. When I first heard that I thought, "Oh right, I'm going to find someone to write my articles. That's impossible, and even if I found them I couldn't afford it."

When I finally put my skepticism aside and just did it, I had well written articles about the subjects I had requested in my email in 24 hours for about $5 each. (It's amazing how much I can get done when I stop thinking that it can't be done!)

As for the time commitment, I think that is an individual experience. I have lots of time, so I tend to spend lots of time on blog marketing. Sort of like what happens every time I move into a bigger office - I manage to fill up the space. If I had less time, I'd spend less time and probably get the same amount done. Colleen is a perfect example of this. She and I have been at this just about the same number of years and she has absorbed a lot more than I have working far fewer hours. Now part of that is because I am a slow learner and tend to complicate things. But I would say this about the time commitment: You are starting a new business with blog marketing, this is not a hobby (unless you want it to be and then you will receive hobby-like benefits in return). If you were starting a new offline business you would spend A LOT more time than this will take, and A LOT more financial investment. In my opinion, this business has the potential to produce more income with less work than anything else other than, perhaps, winning the lottery. Like everything, however, the quality of the rewards is commensurate with the quality of the input.

If you are thinking about getting started in blog marketing, or if you have been doing it a while and want a ton of information that you probably never thought about, pick up Colleen’s work – you simply can’t go wrong.

Not entirely no...I recommend posting your own unique content on your blogs and if you don't always have time to create your own unique content then you can use other people's content whether it's articles, videos, audios....etc

Hi Shaun,

I'm not promising you're going to make any money at all in your first week or anything like that but in my first few months of doing the tasks that I discuss in Blog Inferno I was making about $1000.00 per month and it just continued from there.

Many people aren't big on writing....a lot of what I do does involve blog posts and article writing which you can either write yourself or outsource.

If you put the effort in you should get results and considering the amount of work put into your blogging business the rewards are very substantial.

I could actually "retire" from my full time job which I've been doing for 20 years but we are waiting to buy our own home, and Sydney is the most expensive place in the world in the last article I read to buy a home, so that's why I'm still there....to help with a substantial deposit and then to pay it off as quickly as possible.

But in around two years I replaced my full time income of $90,000 and have since past it....if that's a guide.

Hi there and thanks for your purchase and your question.

Blogger is great and I've got a few blogger blogs myself....However, I believe why people love Wordpress on their own domains so much is:

1. It's your domain and you have complete control of it (blogger can suddenly decide they don't like something on your blog etc)

2. The awesome wordpress plugins that you can use for free which make the blogging experience so great.

3. The search engines seem to really like WP blogs.

4. Your blog posts can get indexed in a matter of minutes in many cases

Thats what I can think of off the top of your head.

Plus if by chance you ever wanted to sell it you can sell the blog as it is on your own domain.

Well I just purchased this and there is alot of info.

Looking through it however, it all seems to be geared toward using Firepow at over $100.00 a month.

If that is the case, it will not be useful to anyone who cannot afford this additional monthly expense.

Yes I know, you have to invest in your business.

But a little upfront info on the true cost would have been nice.

Looks like most of the instructions and bonuses are geared toward Firepow too.

Is this true?

Let me make it very clear: Firepow is NOT necessary.

The Blog Inferno system is complete without Firepow. It's not necessary.

I'm really sorry for the misunderstanding...not because we didn't tell you that Firepow was necessary -- but in making it abundantly clear that Firepow is not necessary.

In fact, Colleen has been blogging for around 2 years -- and Firepow didn't even exist until July of this year.

You can read additional reviews of Blog Inferno here on the Warrior Forum, by the way.

In addition, Colleen has blogs that she has not yet imported into the Firepow system.

This isn't about Firepow. This is about Blog Inferno and about making excellent money as a blogger, showing you how to do it with practically no additional money. (You need a domain & webhosting ... and I think that you can get well-started with just those. Colleen can fill in more...)

Did you read the ReadMeFirst pdf ? That would be a good place to start.
(Sorry, I haven't, I've been too busy helping out on the launch. The product kind of grew from being an ebook with a few additional items to a system.)

We tried to put everything into the product to make it brain-dead simple for anyone to get started. That's why we included checklists, a weekly plan, mindmaps and the like.

But you may also want to pay close attention to the piece that really made a difference for Colleen, and which we both feel is crucial to success: mindset. That's where both of us believe you should start.

And, yes, for some people, some of that stuff seems a bit "woo woo" -- but, fact is, it works.

Thanks again for the purchase. I'm sorry if you thought Firepow is necessary. It's not. At some point, though, it makes things much more efficient. But the processes are the same -- you can do them by hand or through automation. FP provides automation & acceleration.

Blog Inferno actually was written originally for people who had joined FP through Colleen because they were missing the information they needed to harness the power of FP.

But that information is relevant whether you use FP or not.

The Blog Inferno System stands on its own without it.

Okay -- I'm rambling a bit here -- sorry. I just wanted you to know that I'm sorry and feel badly the information included about FP made you think it was necessary.

thank you for your post and your questions.

I do discuss using firepow inside Blog Inferno as that is my most up to date method as a niche blogger.

However, can I emphasise that it is absolutely not necessary at all to use Firepow to make money following my methods in Blog Inferno.

Firstly, before Firepow was released in 2 years as a niche blogger I had created a monthly income of $8000,00 per month. That's while working full time.

The reason why I personally use Firepow and I recommend it is that it saves time and actually makes blogging more fun than it can be without it due to the ease of actually installing and creating blogs, getting content on to the blogs, driving traffic to the blogs, getting backlinks to your blogs and so forth.

Basically without Firepow there is more time involved and some of your blogger tasks to perform will take longer than if you don't actually use Firepow.

It's a personal matter entirely. You can use Blog Inferno without firepow and you will need to spend a bit more time on it than you would if you used Firepow. The monthly fee of Firepow will give you some of that time back.

PS: People have asked me to give an idea of results that I've achieved as a niche blogger in stages and I'll do my best to remember them here.

Within 3 months of starting my niche blogging business I was earning around $1000.00 per month.

Within a year of starting my niche blogging business I was earning around $3000-$4000 per month as a niche blogger.

In my second year as a niche blogger my income increased to $8000+ per year.

Well Judy I'm half dressed and almost out the door to my "normal" day job but there you go.

I believe in providing as much value as I possibly can and that is why the Blog Inferno System is so large and there are so many bonuses. I believe in overdelivering and I hope my blog inferno readers feel that also. By the way, all the bonuses are also tied to either affiliate marketing or blogging and buyers are grateful for their inclusion.

Obviously, I couldn't read the whole 148 pages in the short time since I purchased it. I was just concerned to see Firepow mentioned so much when I skimmed it.

In fact I just found Coleen's statement on page 13, stating that she will show readers how to manually setup blogs if they do not have Firepow.

I understand how the addition of Firepow with help eliminate the need for additional hours on the day-to-day tasks.

When I can afford it I will probably purchase it.

My concern was that the step-by step set up of the blogs might only be geared toward people with Firepow.

I have purchased this with the hope that it will eliminate any need for other sources to build my business, beyond hosting and domain names, which I already pay for.

HI there Ensenada Tom,

That's what I've always done...I create a static front page which is ultimately either my presell page for one product or multiple products so that whoever arrives at my blog from free search engine traffic etc that is the first page they say.

They can then see various blog post links in sidebars etc.
