This would be great if it actually happened but I can almost promise you it wont.

There have been a few of us here on the WF that have tried telling people that ethical autobloging does exist and that it can be a very good source of income...but haters will be haters and they just cant see it.

I hear ya Norma, I'm right there with you!

I wouldn't say mine has "exploded" but I did get a few nice bumps in the SERPs which never hurts and that did lead to an overall increase in traffic.

Even as an "experienced" autoblogger I might have to dig a little deeper into your WSO and the plugin thats mentioned. I always like to try out new tools and approaches, keeping up to date is very important...especially as an autoblogger.

I know autoblogging is a dirty word around here (especially to those that don't know any better) but I'm suprised you didn't get more action on this. From what I saw and my looking into this it seems like a pretty decent plugin and certainly worth more than 26 posts...well 27 now

Yeah, Rob--Wordpress Magic is a great tool, and one that just keeps getting better and better. And there is also a free demo version of WPM for anyone interesting in trying it out.

It now has a couple of really interesting features such as Magic Post Switcher, which will change your ranking posts to pages without changing the permalink structure. This is important, as it is a signal to the Great Gods of Groogle that this is your most important, most evergreen information.

Another really cool feature is Magic Link Exporter. Here you can export all of the urls of your posts in four different formats:

1) Basic URL
2) Spin format (good for other dirty tools such as Xrumer)
3) Html links with post title as anchor text
4) Html links with anchor and exerpt format (same as #3, but includes an exerpt of the post)

But aside from the merits of Wordpress Magic, which incidentally was developed by Roger, the interview is well worth picking up just to blow away many of the myths surrounding autoblogging. People think it's this set and forget method, then are deeply disappointed when they don't make a dime at it.

You have to promote an autoblog just like any other type of site to see results. You have to be checking your data returned from Awstats, StatPress, Clicky, Rank Tracker, etc. to find out what people are truly interested in and making relevant offers to them. From data this you also know which posts that you need to promote with back links.

The beauty of an autoblog is how it functions as a data miner. If you take all month, worth really hard and write 90 posts for your site (3 posts per day), I could potentially have a thousand posts all scheduled to go in a couple of hours. When your hand is seized with writer's cramp, my sites will be posting away, automatically.

Who will have enough data to find out what people are really interested in and are clicking on? I will, due to sheer numbers.

And as far as Google Farmer destroying autobloggers? My traffic has actually gone UP, not down after Farmer and so has Roger's.

But anyway, Rob, maybe that's okay if people don't know what they are missing here. Less competition for those of us who are autobloggers, and do it the right way.

I have several different autoblogging plugins - could you give us a little overview of how this differs - what you like best about it etc?

Personally, I like having several different ones, since they all do have different features, and am very interested in what you think makes this one different/better than some of the others on the market?

Glad that you enjoyed the interview.

I like Wordpress Magic because it is very simple and intuitive to use. Someone who had never autoblogged before would not have a difficult time getting it up and running in no time flat.

I like a couple of the features that it has that I don't believe other autoblogging tools have. If I'm wrong on this, someone please correct me!

It has a module called "Magic Link Exporter" which lets you export all of your site's URLs to CSV to use in your back linking campaigns, which is very convenient.

Another module I like is called "Magic Post Switcher" which lets you convert posts to pages with the click of a button, and also keeps your permalink structure intact when it does the conversion.

Wordpress Magic also lets you publish your posts directly into categories as well.

It also doesn't leave the footprints of some higher priced tools like WP Mage, because it actually pulls the articles, videos, etc as it scrapes, rather than using placeholders as Mage does when articles are to be published in the future. If something goes wrong, and those articles aren't pulled, it's a dead give-away when you see the shortcode for the article accidentally published.

I have used WP Robot a little, and from all reports it is an excellent tool as well. I last used it about 18 months ago, so I know that there have been many improvements since then.

I agree with your using different tools for different purposes, Melody. I just picked up a new one last night that I'm pretty excited about. I don't want to say the name of it yet, as I have not had time to test it thoroughly yet, but it does look good!

I don't do autoblog but I have been planing to look into it for a long time.

When I have been goggling for autoblogging I see many forums talks where people talk about that autobloggers are just stealing content and that it is unethical.

For me, I see no different between autoblogging and article directory or a blog network.

If the autoblogger keeps the link to the article owner just like it is on a article directory the autoblog is nothing more than an article directory and if you as an article owner submits your article to blog networks to get backlinks, you are just sending your article to autoblogs.

I see no different between autoblog and a blog network.

Well if people steal RSS feeds then it is unethical and theft nevermind what anyone thinks.

I am also an autoblogger but I only use article directories which allow people to use content with the links kept in... but on the other hand I've also had content stolen (from a couple of authority blogs), translated to other languages and then translated back to English and posted all over and this is nothing but theft... the same as anyone stealing WSOs or any course put out by any marketer.
