If you translate them into French then that is basically rewriting them so that is fine, yes you can do that.

Not sure about Kindle, I don't know a lot about that. Would that be in French or in English? I don't think I'd give rights to them in English to be sold exactly as they are, but if they are rewritten then yes you can do that.
