All the tools and plug-ins are free. All you need is a domain name, hosting and all of the methods I show for keyword research, competition analysis, and promotion are free.

I made money in the first 30 days of my first site going up. Within 60 days the site was making $400/month and it grew EVERY month thereafter peaking at Christmas, dropping a bit in January and then climbing again. However, I worked on the site several hours a day.

It's hard to say how long it will take at an hour a day but if you're very productive in that hour and put your focus on quality content, the site should still start to see money in the first 30 days.

Donald - Yes. I walk through a full review example including how I gather the information I use for a review, tips for writing the review, and how I format the review for optimum search engine optimization. Plus, I've included a complete 1200+ word sample review on a real product with pictures and formatting in place.

I know for people who don't like to write, the review seems like the hardest part but I have a formula I walk through to make it as easy as possible even if I'm writing about something I know nothing about. In fact, my largest site is about something I didn't even own until several months after I started the site and now people drop by the site just to ask me which one they should buy.

I think seeing just the sample review would probably be a huge help for most people who are working on physical product review sites.

Just bought. Couple questions. I have a current site that I've just let sit. It has three reviews and maybe 5 articles related to the products. I'd like to use this existing site with your program. It is a static site instead of wordpress. It also was meant to be a broader niche. An example would be lawn care products as opposed to lawn mowers. Since each page of a site stands on its own, would the broadness matter? I see it as having limitless opportunity for so many reviews and extra related articles, providing a lot of helpful info. katied - First, thanks for purchasing!

I do not think the broadness matters. I believe you can build a site as large as you want covering whatever topics you want. Amazon, other retailers and consumer opinion/review sites have proven that is possible.

However, I think approach matters.

Let's go with the lawn care products topic. If you do a page on a lawn mower and then a page on a sprinkler system and then a page on a type of hedge trimmer, sure, they can do well on their own if properly SEO'd and backlinked but I think you build more powerful knots of information if you by doing a page on a lawn mower and then another page on a lawnmower and then another page on a lawnmower. Next, do a couple of informational articles about lawn mower and tie them all together (interlinking is good for you!). THEN move to sprinkler systems and do the same and so on. Keep growing the small knots of power you started by periodically going back and adding more to the lawn mower section and then the sprinkler section, etc.

I think you get to the same place eventually but I ~think~ you might find it easier on yourself to try one section and get it going and then move to another.

Whether it is a blog or not also doesn't matter. As long as you put the right type of SEO together with the right kind of quality content - sufficient to beat the competition - then it can be in whatever format. Blog, retail site, video collection - whatever.

I hope you find the information helps you push that site forward. Bringing an old project back to life can be energizing. All of those great ideas usually come flooding back along with any new bits of knowledge you've picked up along the way and suddenly the path ahead can seem so much clearer.

Here's my review of Erica's WSO. This ebook is much more detailed than anything I've read before about Amazon review sites. It goes into a lot of detail about small improvements that enhance a site's overall SEO. Even for those with experience building these sites, there's a lot of specific helpful nuggets of information. I know that this wso will contained detailed information on writing a killer review but is there enough information in terms of seo to get ranked in the number one position or will I have to purchase another wso or additional services. Is your backlink strategy free? Does it work? And is it complete? I have struggled with SEO in the past.

I really did put a lot of time into this and I'm glad it shows. I typed my little fingers to the bone (well, not really the bone - that would have freaked my kids out). I've tried to pack every relevant trick that I use to build these sites so that even if someone has some experience, they'll still find something new and helpful.

I think you're going to be surprised at the amount of content in this ebook that focuses on SEO and getting ranked. In fact, there's probably equal parts how to write a review and SEO and all of the SEO strategies are FREE unless you choose to outsource any of it.

I figure I personally have two tricks up my sleeve:

1. I can write and write and write (and content is great for traffic)
2. I'm addicted to on-site SEO tactics (in my spare time I've started to provide SEO services and consultation for small to medium sized businesses)

I've included everything I do to get a site as strongly optimized as possible and I give you a whole list of methods (still free) for building your initial backlinks.

If you try it and you still feel it's not enough, let me know and I'd certainly honor the refund as stated in the initial post.

Simon - I target a minimum of 100 pages per site. That includes review posts, non-review posts (what I call "informational articles" that target buyers), and pages designed to boost interlinking and sales. I don't rush those pages up - I build them over time. I find that after a certain size and period of time I can leave the site unattended for longer and longer (except to answer visitor comments) without seeing any negative change in income or rankings.

(FYI - should have seen the little spasm I had when I saw "unexpected error" under my WSO listing!! LOL - neat user name! )

Because they are very informative :-) I understand it has been 1 year since you launched your site - when did you accomplish completing the 100 pages? How many pages did you have completed before you saw your first commissions?

Jason - I responded to your PM. Sounds like you have a lot going on!

It took me about 8 months to reach 100 pages on that first site. Some months I'd add just one or two pages and sometimes I'd add more. I put up my first review in the middle of April and made my first sale May 5th at which time I had 24 pages on the site.

Hope that's what you were after.
