when I signed up to your free account and tested it I noticed that my follow ups were being sent through my junkmail instead. It would be understandable if that only happened with the confirmation email, but for it to happen with followups as well, that would kill conversions.

I created two custom pages, one for the confirmation pending and the other is email confirmed. I added the website integration string to both the custom pages but it doesn't return the subscriber's first name. It keeps defaulting to "Friend."

One small question though, is there any way to remove the go between pages with 'auto senders' when a user is subscribing? Not a biggie, just curious. I would prefer to have a custom page for the subscriber to be linked to telling them the same info as the auto senders pages.

Hi Frank,
When you go to the form code,
there is an option to add a url to a thank you page.
If you use single optin this page will be the only one they will see.
If you use double optin, they will see a second confirmation page.
You'll find the optional url feature for this one in "edit properties"

after testing this out with the free account here were my results

- hotmail.co.uk

confirm email sent to junk mail. After marked as safe the followups went to my inbox

- gmail

confirmation and followup email went to my inbox (success)

- yahoo

confirmation sent to spam box, after marked as not spam followups went to inbox


- host/cpanel email - confirm and folwup email went to my inbox

however, when logging in from windows mail sofware

confirm email went to my inbox, but followups went to my junkmail

Not sure if I understand what you mean, but yes people can be at various stages of the course, as they will receive the same message sequence as all the rest do but at a later time difference depending on when they sign up for the first message.
You can also add a prospect begining on a specific message too eg
message 2 or 3

If you follow the wso payment link, after payment you will be taken to a page where you have the option of creating a new account or forwarding me the ID number of an existing account which can be upgraded.

The single optin is just the default setting, which simply means
that if you do nothing the responder will be single optin.
Each responder you set up has a "edit properties" link.
There you will find a drop down box with the option of either
single or double optin.
The choice is yours.

No Travor, the email address function was disabled a long time ago.
Addresses tend to get harvested etc.
As I offer a single optin choice allowing email addresses to work was out of the question.
Very few people need to use them these days anyway thanks to squeeze pages.

I'd have to answer no to all those questions.
You'd probably need some special software to do all that,
or a much more expensive autoresponder system.

1. Since the first post back in September a number of warriors have responded that the links are not working. I just tried the link from the signature link, links in reply's and Google. ALL were broken. This seems to me to be a great demonstration on how NOT to do business. Why buy into a system that has this much downtime and/or reliability issues?

Hi Kumar,
Yes you can import and export suscribers from your responders.
As for the support, I'm not often away from the computer more than a couple of hours apart from when I sleep of course.
Judging by our locations that shouldn't cause too much of a problem.
