I've never used aweber so can't comment on that one.
Not sure what you're asking when you mention "account"
Can you be more specific?

As for delivery rates, I use them myself and test them with 5 or 6
email addreses each time I set up a new campaign and receive messages
almost instantly.

Basically if a decent email address is used, the message gets delivered.

I want to put my name to this.

I have been using the demo version of this autoresponder, and I think its actually brilliant.

The confirmation lands in the inbox of every email account I have tried it with except Yahoo, almost instantly. The delivery was still pretty instant to the Yahoo email address, but it ended up in the spam box. Just have a good thank you page, and you'll sort this out. This is not a problem exclusive to this autoresponder.

Here are the accounts I ran tests with:
-gmail
-yahoo
-hotmail
-my own email address on my hosting

All of them worked excellently. Delivery was good, and the actual interface was very user-friendly, very easy to use and this price seems crazily cheap.

I highly recommend this if you don't have the funds or the credit card to take the aweber and getresponse options.

I couldn't comment on high volume lists, mine are very small and experimental. But so far so good. The system has ran well, and I like it.

The amount of subscribers you can have is 10,000
and the number of messages per responder is 100
Accounts can be adjustedindividually if the need arises.

The service has been in service since 2000 but with the
script being used now since 2004

Leslie this looks good. Can you tell me if i can use single opt in instead of double optin as i loose alot of my list when i double optin for one of my niches. Aslo i build my list at 200-400 optins a day. What is the price increase once i reach 10000 and is this the autoresponder that you use, if so what are you deliverbility rates? do you monitor you open rates and if so what are they as it gives a good indication of the email landing in the inbox instead of the junk folder...

apart from the ads a free responder can't send broadcasts or import lists.

Hi Michael, you can use single or double optin, you get the choice each time you set up a new responder.

To tell you the truth I've never had anyone with over 10,000 on their list so haven't made provisions for this.
There is a purge feature to delete bounces and undeliverables.
Some responders that charge for mailing over 10,000 don't have a purge feature, so aren't really mailing that amount.

All accounts can be edited individually so any special needs can be arranged if required.

$49.95 is the normal price.
The WSO price is $34.95 a year.
But yes, the price you pay is the same each year.

When importing email addresess the default setting is for double optin.
If they sign up by email or by form then you can choose single or double optin.

Hi Dave,
There is an option in the settings to either allow
duplicate subscriptions or not, and show an error.
The error message tells the subscriber that they
are already subscribed to that autoresponder.

NO, I'm not looking to spam. I just want to make sure if I'm doing legitimate list building that a few wingnuts that complain won't be a cause for my account to be shut down.

Also, for delivery, is your e-mail, for the most part, getting through? I know Yahoo! can be tough (I appreciate the test results shared above) but I wanted to get your opinion.

Hi Dennis,
Spam complaints are dealt on an individual basis.
They are usually pretty obvious wether someone has
been spamming or not.
The system notes IP addresses.

Yahoo addresses don't seem to be too much of a problem.
I use one myself to test, plus there are customers who have
signed up using yahoo addresses.
They have to verify so they must have received the email.

Hi Jose,
It's best to use plain text files to import. They are easy to change
if they are in another format.
Also don't import too many at a time to avoid browser timeouts.

When importing you get the choice of adding them in active status,
which means they will receive the messages.
You can also choose which message to start them on if you wish too.
Or you can import in finished status which means they won't receive the loaded messages.

When importing they will get an email to confirm their address.

The broadcast feature allows one broadcast per day.

No Carol, the responders are not hosted on your server.
You get 10 responders per account for the price.
There is no affiliate program for the responders.

Not sure from the site and the thread if there are any key differentiators and I believe if you could point these out Les, it would give potential buyers of your product real and solid information to base their decisions on.

My GetResponse account has run out but I can't find specifics that jump out as good as the product looks.

Just some thoughts.

The control panel is much easier to navigate, in my opinion, but then
