Now he's teamed up with Damon, who I hadn't heard of previously, but he's obviously been around for a while and from what I've seen in the videos, he knows his stuff. I saw some things in the videos that I never knew before. The first few videos are basic Wordpress set up stuff. I was tempted to skip through them until Damon dropped a nugget about the best way to install Wordpress now and not the way I've been told to do it in the past. Other unknown nuggets to me included info on support and how to pick Wordpress themes for my local business customers. Actually, that Wordpress theme tip was pretty smart and it made me think "how could I have not thought about that myself?"

This is a very comprehensive WSO on setting up a Wordpress site and how to get it ranked. What's great is that you can be a complete newbie and have a site up and running in less than an hour. Damon says about 15-20 minutes but I think if you're doing the steps while watching the videos it could be about an hour. In the video it only seems to bring up the listings for the sitemap?? A listing is a listing I know, but whatever magic you use can this be applied to other pages on the site???

Does the same magic work for not so long a tail keywords...eg corpuschristipainters

Why I ask this is a painter in corpus christi that say does several painting services does that client then need to have several domains.

I ask this as my future clients...wink wink... like you did i want them to rank for several terms.

Why I ask this is a painter in corpus christi that say does several painting services does that client then need to have several domains.

I ask this as my future clients...wink wink... like you did i want them to rank for several terms.

I have been building WP sites for many years. I absolutely know how to build them and get them ranked. I wasn't that eager to watch 15 videos on how to build a WP site but I was curious since people were saying they learned something new.

I have watched every single video in this WSO. It took some time - let me tell you - but unlike other reviewers who haven't gotten through them all - I have.
I have read all the pdfs, including the bonus ones.
I have even contacted Damon and asked him a few questions about this WSO. (About one of the plugins he recommended)

So here is my honest feedback:

Modules 1-3 - will be extremely useful for any WP newbie.

In fact, this summer, I am planning on teaching my kids (age 17 and 11) on how to build their own online business - and I am going to have them use modules 1-3 to learn how to put up their sites. I will have them follow the modules exactly except that I won't have them use GoDaddy. I use a different name registrar. I only use GoDaddy to buy old domains up for auction.

Now - I was mildly interested up to that point but thought - GREAT for newbies. VERY thorough and step-by-step.

Now - in Module 4 - that was when I got interested. Damon showed me some plugins that I had never heard of before. I can tell you right now - there are 2 plugins I use currently that I will be switching to the ones he recommends and there are 3 plugins I will be adding to my WP blogs from now on.

TIP: For those who want to just read the quick overview PDF and not bother with the videos - PAY ATTENTION: AT LEAST WATCH THE VIDEOS ON MODULE 4!! You need to see why he chooses the ones he uses and how he sets them up.

Module 5 was useful for those who want to get into outsourcing. In fact - I would just give the whole darn WSO to the people you are going to be doing your outsource work. Make your life easy and let Damon train your helpers. That is what I am going to do.

Now Jerome's PDF - for those who are familiar with his WSO products - you know what to expect. A few pages of PROOF that he knows what he is talking about - and then nothing but straight content without any fluff or fillers. It isn't a long PDF because he is just straight to the point - but it is exactly what you need to do. It is exactly as easy as Jerome says that it is. Just follow his recipe and you will succeed.

ANOTHER TIP: Damon's videos start at the "buying domain name" stage. Jerome's WSO covers briefly what you need to do before you buy your domain name and then it covers what you need to do to get your website ranked after it is built.

SO: work through the WSO like this:

Read through it all so you are familiar with it
Then when you go to "work it", work it in this order:

1 - Jerome's PDF first (Pages 13-16 I think)
2 - Damon's videos (all five modules) and the Tim Castleman Video
3 - Jerome's PDF (16 to end)

EXCELLENT JOB JEROME AND DAMON!!! This is EXACTLY what I will use to teach my kids how to do this and to give to my outsourcers!!!!!!

My only complaint is now I really want to go back to my WP sites and change the plugins!!!
