Hi Comp123...Thanks for your interest! Well, the short answer is yes.

But you can also find some solid info right here in the CPA section of the forum on getting accepted by networks for free.

Hi ankur sharma,

Any spending is totally at your own discretion. I got started with absolutely ZERO spending.

I do not know if you realize it but Admin has in place a 5 Min delay to respond back to a PM....that can really eat up your day.

I get paid about $9 after paypal fees and I think I deliver alot of value for that.

I am really not the hard core sell type, I just try to give quality contribution when I can.

When I got started, I had no money, no website, nothing. I still managed to make $100 in a day using just a single method. This is more of a resource to give you many creative ideas to make money. Also, anything you could not do yourself you can always outsource to someone else.

I suggest you read all you can in the CPA sections. There are many threads on how easy it can be to get into networks if you take time to look. I have been personally using some of these methods as I have said right above your comment....totally whitehat.

I have customers from all over the world very pleased with my report and they have found ways to use it to make money.

You got it Mark. That means US only in your promoting. Meaning that is where that particular advertiser prefers to get his leads to that particular product.

Although I am very new to CPA I understood your book and it also gave me ideas for non CPA stuff as well.

I have been watching this wso for a while but the black hat mentions were putting me off (catholic guilt complex lol!) - I don't want to get banned from any site for any reason.

I got approved with no problem. The affiliate manager and I talked on the phone. I told him I was new to this type of marketing but was committed to it because I had hired a "coach" to help me. The only reason I was applying to their program was because my coach instructed me to do so and said we would cover the next steps in our next coaching session.

The affiliate manager didn't ask who my coach was, how much I was paying him for coaching, or any details of my coaching. I just impressed on him that I was committed, teachable, and following instructions as outlined. He approved me on the spot within moments of our conversation - actually while we were on the phone. I've since done this with three other networks and it worked flawlessly. No one questioned my lack of experience or knowledge because I had "hired a coach".

It can't hurt to try my technique. The worst they can say is "NO" which is what you already have if you don't even apply and try to get approved. On some networks though, you'll actually have to call the affiliate manager, whereas some call you. Neverblue, for example, will call you and approve you after the interview.

Thank you for replying to my dilemna. I appreciate it. I wasn't feeling very confident earlier, but now will try to get my courage up and give your suggestion a try. And what if I miss phone call from affiliate manager? I work very, very long hours at my awful day job during the week and not allowed to do anything personal on the "boss man's watch", then what should I do? I really need to change my situation asap and start doing what I want to do rather than what someone else wants me to do.

I missed the call from the affiliate manager when he called because I don't answer calls that show up as either "Restricted", "Private Number" or even toll free numbers that I don't recognize. He left a message AND sent me an email telling me he was trying to reach me. I called back and we had an excellent conversation as I said earlier.
