Marvin, sites like missingmoney.com update their name list at the most quarterly but generally only once a year. It is possible to access more frequent name list update and locate money before it is reported to the state as missing. How to is included in the e-book.

Bhupinder, the current economic down turn is one of the reasons this market is going to heat up. People need this service. Also, it is a niche market with low competition and moderate demand. And finally, you are not selling anything. People are bombarded with sales messages. You are contacting them to give them something. As a professional money finder I have had some people refuse to listen or respond to my contact, but that was less than 1%.

Dennis, Yes the video is suppose to work. It is a short .wmv embedded exert from Oprah's March, 2008 show on unclaimed money. I just checked and it was working find. Without knowledge of your computer setup, I'm unable to explain why you are experiencing problems.

PLR-Riches...One of the secrets of locating unclaimed money is knowing where to find it. One thing that most people fail to understand is that the accounting office for many of the major corporations are not housed in the community where you live. The main corporate accounting offices are usually maintained in the home office state. Often when reporting their unclaimed and lost property, they report it to the state unclaimed property office that they are located in. If you search in the state where you live for that particular missing asset you will not find it. This is also true for many pension and insurance related assets.

The resource directories are the heart of the plan for running the money finding maze. Within the book are resource references to Unclaimed Property Offices and Databases for all 50 states, some U.S. territories, and Providences of Canada. Over 95% of these resources and database sites grant you unlimited access online.

The easiest and fastest way to start if you do not want to begin with yourself, family, and friends...is to get your local phone directory and begin doing searches with the names included. Or access the database, input common names...Smith, Johnson, Williams, Jones, etc...capture the information that is returned then use your telephone directory or the people finder resource directory also included in the book to narrow down and make contact with the rightful owners, informing them that you have located money that may belongs to them.

What do I mean by inheritances?

Blood relatives are the only ones in line to be heirs. For example, if your deceased cousin was from your mother's side of the family, then your father, who is not a blood relative, would not be an heir. This kind of consideration usually eliminates 50% of the people with whom you might have thought you would have to share the inheritance.

It is also important to note that the first blood relative to claim loss or unclaimed property of a deceased relative becomes the rightful owner of that property or asset.

A little known facts about unclaimed money is to establish that you are the family member for whom unclaimed property you are searching for or are either the sole surviving next of kin or else that you are one of several persons with equal claim to the estate, you will need your own records to establish your identity and proof of your relationship.
