1) AT&T makes a qr code scanning app for the Iphone that works really well. That's what I use in my demo video. 2) The Template doesn't really work like that... PM me and we'll chat specifics.. I'll get you set up! Thanks!

I like it. I love offering added value to my offline clients which this does and will also help land new clients. BTW if you donīt have a smart phone (like me !) you can use Free online Barcode decoder to get the url from the generated QRCODE and then look at the results. If you want to go the whole hog there are user agent switchers available in FF etc so you can simulate the look. Hope that helps Si |

Just got this one. I've always had a similar worry that QR codes seemed sort of gimmicky, for the same reasons Dr. Ben mentioned. But this seems like a terrific way to connect the dots and make QR codes both smart and practical. Thanks Dr. Ben! |

Ben - I have a challenge that I hope you will promote yourself. Most if not all reviews of a product including this one are based solely on an initial emotional reaction and not through application. Meaning people are typically "wowed" by either a lot of content or presentation style and such as that........all this BEFORE they have even put it into any form of action. So the promotion is...get some of these buyers to successfully implement this system, achieve good results and THEN and only then come back here and post it up with some documentation. You may say you cannot control what other do and so it is, BUT without proof by many others and not just yourself, how can anyone know for sure if this is a practical system that anyone that gives this an honest and full effort will work? Many things "seem" like they can work on paper.........now put this to the real test in the real world with say......10 students and come back to report. I'm so tired of the WSO's that seem so great but almost without exception no one and I mean no one basically comes back to report on any successes. So I double dare you to take me up and let's see what happens! Anyone bold enough? We'll see now that the gauntlet is laid down! HUB |

Ben, Just like you, I've purchased some QR code kind of reports and hoping that it will give us a solution on how it can really provide value to our clients in the long-term perspective... I always got lost... but not anymore, after going through your simple-and-long-term-plan report! It's so easy to understand, it's so easy to implement, and it's so nicely planned that I can see why your clients love this approach so much! ![]() I'm a huge fan in the "retaining" topic, whenever it comes to anything about offline (and of course in the online world as well). I'm sorry if you're expecting for a long review but hey – this is it! Short and straight to the point! Ben is spoon-feeding us by giving out the whole simple system and he even teach us how we can assist our clients/customers to retain their customers! That's the most valuable thing in the whole report! Thanks Ben, for sharing this awesome and valuable report with us! Gonna send this out to my list, gotta share with them about this!! ![]() Aiden |

But like I wrote above, this is simple, effective, a great way to lead in for Social Media or Mobile stuff, and to full fledged consulting. It's another tool in the toolbox, and I will use it to show expertise this Monday or Tuesday. It's NOT a miracle product, you have to PROSPECT or GET LEADS in some shape or form otherwise don't bother, but it's certainly a great tool to stand from the pack, provide real value, and show you know marketing, so well worth the price AND TIME (which is my main issue for most WSOs)

Love it... Love it.... Love it... I think that the initial reactions are always important and I appreciate that feedback... But the thing that impresses me the most is when the people that buy my stuff take action. My stuff is tested and I know that it makes money but it take a little work (aka "action") My favorite part of my Agent Black System (a wso I launched in Mid June) is when I started getting testimonials after about 4 days that people were already closing deals. I fully expect this WSO to get "action takers" there as soon as the holiday weekend is over. In Short: Challenge Accepted! Let's make some money, close some deals, and come back and post here in the forum I'll do be best to shoot my customers back this way.Quote:

You have more than you think. I thought they would just be logged into the apps.... but alot already are in their browser too. For those that aren't, they get shot over to a login screen and as soon as they enter everything, they get shot right back to our main screen. Hope that helps! Not an all encompassing answer I realize, but I'm just giving my experience.

This is not a "magic offline button". This is a system that will multiply the effort that you're putting in for your offline clients due to some clever mashups of techniques. The key to success in offline and online marketing is simple..... Hard and consistent work. This technique is a huge deal closer for me though. I just wanted to share it so others would have it in their tool belt as well. BTW: Really excited to see how everyone uses this in their local markets. Please Keep me posted! ![]() I'm here to help!

Are QR codes a gimmick or not? QR Code Way: 1. Fire up QR reader app on the phone 2. If no QR reader app installed (what %age of smartphone users would have one installed?), have to find and install app 3. Scan QR code 4. Click Like 5. Login to FB if not already logged in 6. Get Coupon Non-QR Way: 1. Fire up FB on the phone (100% of smartphones users either have FB app, or can access FB via phone browser) 2. Login to FB if not already logged in 3. Type in "fb.com/businessname" (assumes business has got a FB username) 4. Click Like 5. Get Coupon As far as I can tell, all the QR code does is cut out the typing in of the business FB username. BUT this is offset by the added step of having to install a QR reader app. If you gave 10 people a piece of paper saying: "Scan this with your phone, click LIKE and get a discount coupon" How many would be able to do this? If you gave 10 people a piece of paper saying: "Go to fb.com/businessname on your phone, click LIKE and get a discount coupon" How many be able to do this? |

| Yes you can. But my point is: In the real world of typical phone owners is the QR code making it easier for the business to get the LIKE, or not? Would be interesting to hear the experience of someone who has purchased and actually used this WSO. |

Hi Johnno, let me see if this will help. If I am a customer at the business: QR Code Way: 1. Turn off my screen saver on the phone 2. Slide to the second page (my QR scanner not on home page) 3. Click on QR reader 4. Scan QR code 5. Click Like 6. Login to FB if not already logged in (counting this as one click) 7. Get Coupon Total: 7 clicks Non-QR Way: 1. Fire up FB on the phone 2. Login to FB if not already logged in 3. Type in "fb.com/businessname" (this is a total of 19 clicks) 22. Click Like 23. Get Coupon Total: 23 clicks The comparison is similar to using SMS codes. Will the ease of use (click on an icon) outweigh losing the non-smart phone users? Also, you can make a game out of this. Say it's a restaurant with 20 tables, create 20 different coupons (free soup, free snacks, free drinks, etc...) for each table. Play a "find a code... get a price..." game. And customers have to be seated at the particular table to win that price. Here is another, pull the same idea across three to four restaurants (next door neighbors or the owner may have multiple restaurants), and when they have collected all the coupons (my phone keeps copy of what I've scanned), they win a bigger price. To me it is all about ease of use. Hope this helps. |

Then if a customer doesn't have a smartphone they still get the URL to access the coupon.

That's the framework of a WSO dude! I'm going to copy that text before you remove it ![]() Nice one. Dez. PS: Quick review of Ben's QR+FB marriage: GET IT. Even if, like me, you can work it out on your own from his generous sales copy where he spills the beans, you won't be able to really scoop 'em up again without the blueprint contained within this very COOL WSO Howto, and you'll save bucket loads of time even if you're a geek. (It goes without saying that if you're not a geek, change the 'hours' into days )

Nice of you to give us ideas. I donīt get it though !. How does the 20 coupon idea work. You have 20 qr codes ie 1 per coupon and each day they get a different coupon ? Sorry - me is slow ! Question - if you change your redeem voucher you get a new qr code is that right ? OR will the link within the Qr code reflect the change ?. Thanks Si Quote:

The concept can be used for "what's new on the menu." Also, on a busy night, you can have a "big prize" code (ie the whole meal free; a free TV; tickets to show, etc...). The idea is to have the customers be surprised, and let the rest of the world know. The restaurant owner can buy these prizes off closed out items or barter for them. Hope this helps.

This is a very valid post and I'm glad you wrote it... When I first started doing this kind of stuff.... This is what I asked myself Which is easier.... Having someone: 1) Scan a code and go through the process. 2) Enter an address and go through it. 3) Write their info on a contact card and get a coupon (low-tech) Obviously number 3 involves less steps... but to be honest... it doesn't get the kind of automated opt-in that 1 and 2 get. If you're going for less steps... the low-tech does the job (pencil and paper). If you're going for attention grabbers: Facebook and QR work really well and the tech alone will get opt-ins. Does that make it a gimmick... it just might! But... I'm seeing a bigger and bigger adoption over the pencil and paper stuff these days. Hope that helps! Keep the good post coming Johnno, And hit me up anytime you need anything (I love this kind of discussion)

This post says it all.... This is the key to all of this stuff... Make a game out of it... and people will "play" like crazy... It doesn't matter if you add an extra step... people will "play" Great stuff Roger Quote:

Hey G, We've been covering some of this on the DL page discussion board, but I'll tell you what I do... This technique is my "closer". I typically bundle this with other offline services... this is the thing I use to push them over the top, because I'm "throwing it in". The amount of time it takes you to set this up makes it an easy "throw in". You can close some monster core offline services by attaching a "cool" service to them. Hope that helps

Doc. you asked me to PM you my question, I did. Then you PMed back to ask me post my question in your Download page, yes. I did. But not herad from you since. What I can see is your Intro video how good your system is. But the most important thing is to help your buyers to set up the same system. I like to ask you again here to make a video tutorial of your Facebook fanpage integrated with like and QR system. THis is a very important part of WSO. Please do not assume everybody is very good at techie. Otherwise can I follow your system? Thanks again. |

My apologies. I posted on the DL page today and replied. I am working on a FAQ video for everyone, but before I got it up I wanted to make sure the system had a few days of launch under its belt so the vid could be all encompassing. Just to give you a better response though: The fanpage doesn't have a whole lot to do with the initial system. As a matter of fact, if we do it right, the user should never see the fan page until after they've liked it. The first time they come to the fan page should be when we start our "after marketing" for the business. Feel free to hit me up on skype and we'll discuss specifics ("benadkins"). I'm here to help... I'm just not sure what you're asking yet. We'll get you set up bro. I'll make sure of it. Dr. Ben Adkins

I do not have enough post to contact via private message. I recently got your product and I love the Idea of QR code likes and Facebook. I have another question.... I am currently creating many moble websites for businesses. I would like to know if a person can apply this to something other than a specific Fanpage ...i.e Mobile sites? I understand by being able to log into the fanpage you can send new offer (list building), but I am wondering if the flyer can be set up to "like" a mobile website.... of which I have a link for "new offers" or coupons on the mobile site? I want to use for viral promotion of Mobile Websites if possible. Any and all welcome with ideas. Thanks, Winfred |
