Can you simply send someone an ebook using Groupon ? No it is a little bit more than that. I'm fairly new here and have noticed that many free review copies are handed out. It makes me wonder whether the positive reviews are real or whether they're positive so that the reviewer can keep getting free product in future. Would this concept require the operator to be resident in the particular city that was being targeted or could the benefits be obtained by remote (even offshore) means?

Here is the awesome part. He wasn't even in the heart and soul of Groupon. That being the U.S. He did it from the U.K. The untapped potential in the U.S. is staggering and around the world. You don't have to be in that city. For example you can do national campaigns.

There are NO and I mean NO costs to you. No initial costs. No later costs. You simply pay out of your profits. This is not North America alone. The guy that did this was from the U.K. which tells you of the potential in the U.S. market.

1) You state in your sales copy: "Let me state that you DO NOT have to be an offline marketer to do this."

In the interview Suraj actually emphasizes that electronic items do NOT work. So what else is left then, other than becoming an offline marketer (and that's actually what this case study is all about).

2) In your sales copy you imply that in the interview details exact strategies ("by putting these strategies in place"). Sorry, I could not find these exact strategies, everything was very vague.

For example I would have expected that the topic of "valid reviews" of the product or service that you want to offer via Groupon is not touched on at all.

And actually that's the KEY POINT of the whole Groupon game, as you can see from the following quote from a Groupon email that I've recently received from them:

Thanks for your interest in Groupon Now!

Groupon features deals based upon specific guidelines & criteria. In order to ensure a positive experience for our customers, we look at the online presence of your business, especially customer reviews, as a part of this assessment.
