SMS is what I'm most familiar with and am even combining it with your other WSO, so, I'll most likely be checking this out. Between this, your CPA, and your WSO's, you're making some nice $bank$.

I can attest to the fact this is a great way to get clients, although I find it easier to setup the appointments and have face to face meetings with the these owners. I never had alot of luck trying to close over the phone and collect $,I know it can be done, just my experience. I also find it alot easier contacting smaller pizza type places, limo services, hair salons etc. As opposed to larger businesses having to deal with gatekeepers. I always recommend to my clients that I set appointments for to go this route first to gain some clients and get their feet wet before trying to cold call larger companies. Just my 2 pennies |

One could replace "What point am I trying to prove when I get on the phone" with "what point am I trying to prove by living my life?" And have quite an interesting look at oneself. Thanks for that. :-)

I can see the potential in this WSO with phone and email script, but unluckily there is no such SMS service in my country. So it seems that I need to call US offline clients. |

Hi Aaron, will this work in the UK? Is txt180 a US service? Do you know if the same service exists in the UK? Sorry for the questions but don't want to dive in if I can't take action. Thanks. |

I understand that this is basically a cold calling script system and therefore a numbers game with lots of rejection. As John Durham already pointed out and with my own experience of over 20 years in UK financial services cold callers are a special breed of person. The important question for me is how the local busines owner gets people to opt in to the SMS system? Is this covered in the course? It's one thing promising a business owner more clients it's another one delivering. |

Hi Arron, Just bought your WSO, I have to say your script and process are spot on!! The value of any info is in the detail or the implementation of that detail and the words you use are compelling to any business owner (with a pulse) to take action, if they don't it's there loss, there competitors will decimate them if the adopt SMS marketing. Thanks for the script, I will employ a small teles sales team to scale this up!! Regards, Phil |

| I had a look at txt180.com re availability. Supported Carriers AT&T, CBW, nTelos, Sprint, Nextel, Boost, Virgin Mobile, Verizon Wireless, T Mobile and Alltel. Some major carriers from the UK missing from that list so for me it woiuldn't work, although I suppose there coud be other providers. |

I've been 25 years (and still am) in Financial Servises, getting bored with the regulation RDR etc, but my recurring income is too high to give it up, but I am setting up an offline business to include SMS marketing, mobile sites etc. There are WSO's covering how a business acquies the mobile phone numbers of customers, by using a short code for example, a restaurant would ask customers (and potential customers) to TEXT 'FREE FOOD' to 87654. Once phone numberes are captured, the business text's offers from time to time to fill up restaurant on quite nights. Hope I wasn't teaching you to suck eggs! Phil

@ Steve, I read our PM, but can't reply as I havn't reached 50 posts yet! I havn't launched just yet, my son is still going through and learning how to build mobile sites and also websites using Word Press, he's done a few mobile sites which look great and building a WPsite now for our business, so should be ready in about 2 weeks, in the meantime I can look to recruit tele sales people. In the UK I've looked into Txtlocal and one or two others, I will contact them by phone this week to establish there exact offering. Cheers Phil |

Looks like limeyland will be well serviced if we can get the right SMS services here in Britain - lol I know nothing, 'er, less than nothing about cellphones and text messaging - I don't have one - don't have the need. BUT, this WSO looks great for a nincompoop like me, so if anyone can find the right service in the UK, I too am keen. In the meantime I will take a chance and buy the plan - on the understanding that there is a refund if needs be. I have still to make a single cent on the internet, perhaps this will be more in line with my own limitations. If there are any guide lines anywhere, I'd be obliged for directions... Thanks itma |

Phil, I looked at Txtlocal and the cost up to 5,000 credits (ie messages) is £0.49 each. £49.00 per 1,000. Big difference from text180.com which is a quarter of the price. However, text180 doesn't support Vodafone, O2 & Orange so no good for UK. Itma it looks like the refund is only provided if you put the course into action. Hopefully Aaron will clarify our questions soon, I think he's on US central time zone so prob still in bed at the mo. |

Just purchased this one for $15 - no brainer!! Great useful info in this concise script, looking forward to putting this one to the test. Good thing with thi one is that it can be modified and applied to e-mail marketing as well as SMS. I am a fellow UK buyer/businessman so will keep my eyes posted for details of UK service providers and enablers. Evidently the ones appearing to exist are a little expensive but you obviously build that into your pricing plans!! All in all a great WSO delivering huge value. |

Just downloaded your WSO. After review, it looks very "do-able". Scripts look great and seem to be at the right level of detail for the initial contact. I will let you know in two weeks how I make out with it. Thanks for the great info! |

What specifically are we selling these customers? I assume you have to have some talent/service to sell. Are we building them a mobile site or a website? Are we pimping them with the script? Please advise.

I want to thank everyone who gave the kind words!! Im so happy, You guys could see the value behind this awesome system! To the people overseas, just because I SUGGESTED txt180, DOES NOT mean it is EVERYONE'S best option, obviously! If you are having trouble finding an SMS provider in your country, just hit up google and find it! Type in (your area) SMS marketing providers and do the research needed to find the best SMS service for you! Im based out of the US, so I chose txt180 but those in AUS, UK etc can find an alternative provider and use this exact same system to excel! There are a BUNCH of providers around the world and just a little bit of research you will find the best for you. My suggestion of txt180 really doesnt have anything to do with this WSO, this is a plan to LAND and UPSELL clients! That is why I didnt want to include txt180 in the WSO to confuse people like that is the only possibility!! If the providers in your area are higher than normal, that is because of the financial state of your area so you can add that into consideration for what you charge per month! Instead of $250 go after $299! Quote:

I really appreciate your help, but what I really need is a structured guide with a full set of instructions. I've been wanting to learn this part of the IM business for a while now. In the long run, this script will help. However, it is best for me to learn the nuances and logistics of SMS.

THANKS EVERYONE! Hey guys, I REALLY don't think you need a wso to really understand how the SMS Marketing platform works for small businesses! PLEASE take a second and try to clear your mind of all the complicated marketing approaches, this is not one of them. I had NO IDEA about SMS marketing when I started this a couple months ago. NO FRICKING IDEA! I didnt do ANY research on how sms works besides searching for SMS providers online and reading their websites to make a smart decision on which one I thought looked the best! @BlueBlaster, we are just informing and offering the service as a marketing company. These businesses can really just hop on google and find it themselves and run it for way cheaper than what we charge. But the majority of them have no idea about this way of marketing, the thing is to get them excited and confident that you know what your doing. And since it's so seriously simple, you can become an expert at it in a day's researching! They will probably think it's far more complicated than it really is, so that's why they are happy to pay $250 per month for someone to take care of that for them! If a lot of people still need more information, I may write up a more detailed guide on the specifics of SMS marketing and send it to you guys when I get time. I always remembered seeing this on commercials for ringtone companies all the time. Text 'cooltones' to 54545 for the hottest deals on ringtones! So I knew how it worked when people texted that code in. It was common sense that those numbers were saved in a database and sent mass promotional texts all at once. So that is ALL I knew before jumping on this opportunity. Like John Durham said in this thread earlier, sometimes people want too much extra complication and fluff explained to them before they feel comfortable to jump on this. Sometimes you gotta say screw your comfort and just hop on a system that works! You WILL learn a lot along the way that NO WSO can tell you by experience and trial and error! The actual SMS Marketing platform is so dang user friendly, it's impossible not to understand how to work it! There are hundreds upon hundreds of SMS marketing providers other than TXT180, i dont even think that is the best provider honestly, but I just jumped on them like I said because I was ready to do this!!! Im actually actively researching a lot of other SMS providers on Google and trying to find an even better one. You guys can do this too for yourself! Go to google and get the searching! There all around! Arron |

I understand what you are saying Arron and this script is great. However, I am the kind of person who needs to have it fully explained, thoroughly researched, and totally understood before implementing the system. I'm off to search for a WSO that can take me the rest of the way on this journey. |

| Almost every business WILL NOT have a list when we approach them. We help them get a list by offering some marketing suggestions for the opt-in list, such as running a contest for their customers, "SIGN UP FOR OUR VIP SMS CLUB AND GET A CHANCE TO WIN A FREE DINNER!" ETC!

Guys, implementing this is probably more simple than anything else I can think of in terms of marketing. Very simple for you. Very simple for the business. Very simple for the customer. No physical collection of phone numbers or paperwork. Business posts a flyer on their register, or wherever, or verbally tells the customer about it. Flyer says 'text pizzadeal to 54545 to receive special offers available nowhere else!' Customers text that and they're opted in. Nobody collects any numbers from the customer. Simple, eh? Now you just have to make the sale to businesses.. |
