Received an email from an affiliate yesterday and got in at the $7 price point. After reading several of the previous posts, I must have been lucky as I was able to snag a PR8 EDU backlinking site. I've seen these WSOs before, but didn't bite. Just figured if the price was right, I'd bite today.

Do you really want an honest review? Well, here goes.

Fortunately, the actual product itself is very good. What's to complain about having access to your own blog on a PR8 EDU domain. And you can post your own articles (as long as you don't overdo it)? Wow. That's great.

Okay. So much for the plaudits. Now for the hard stuff. The PDF with instructions was not very clear at all. You need to find someone who knows how to write clear and simple instructions rather than relying on all the pictures to tell the story. At several points I'm looking at graphics (and small graphics at that; yes I know I can enlarge them, and I did) with no instructions but just a single word and I'm trying to figure out "What's going on here?" I had to go back through the damn thing again (enlarging the graphics) before I could figure out what was supposed to happen. It would have been better to have had it all spelled out before hand. Please, guys, don't be chintzy on the words. Spell it ALL out, for heaven's sakes. That would have saved me having to go through it a second time.

The OTO didn't seem like a bargain to me. For 10 more edu sites, I was asked to fork over an additional $78 bucks. Add the $7 I already paid and it comes to $85 for ten sites. At least that's the way I understood the offer. Probably not too bad a deal overall, but definitely not as good as the one I just bought at $7.

Overall, though, if you want some good backlink juice from EDU sites, you can't go wrong with John and Gustav's offer.

I purchased a PR7 .org blog link in June and was extremely happy with potential and with the instructions provided.

The only niggle I had was with the upsell. Because of the way it is priced, it worked out that it was going to cost me more per .org link than the price for a single link. As a matter of principal I did not purchase as I feel that purchasing in bulk should reduce the price per unit rather than increase it.

That said, these are still terrific value.

Hi. You need to register once but at every edu blog or wiki. So if you 2 edus then you'll create one account inside each of them.

Thanks. Email to support if you understand there was a mistake in the process and we check. Each edu has a limited amount of sales so when it gets sold out we change for the next one but that is specified in the sales copy, where you can see which particular edu is selling at them moment, just before you press the buy button.

That can also happen although we try our best to always have that information updated in the sales copy so you can realize which is the edu for sale at them moment.

I received the PR5 file as a duplicate in the Ten Pack also. So, I need a PR7 and also another file for the 10 Pack. How about another PR9 for the aggravation? lol

Ok I have seen why is the confusion here. The problem is that the pdf has PR6 but it's wrong. Just check the root domain of that edu and you'll see it's a PR7. We appologize for the mistake with the PR. I have changed the PR of the pdf already so no more confusion with the next buyers.

Ok about the confusion with the PR7 here is the comment:

Ok I have seen why is the confusion here. The problem is that the pdf had a PR6 but it's wrong. Just check the root domain of that edu and you'll see it's a PR7. We appologize for the mistake with the PR. I have changed the PR of the pdf already so no more confusion with the next buyers.

About the duplication you mention the thing is that each pack includes one single edu. So in total will be 10 (9 edus+1 single). With our last offer the packs included only 9 edus plus the single you bought were 10, now we included the 10 (but one of them is a single edu) in the pack so people who buy only the pack can have the 10 edus instead of only 9.

Hi guys - thanks for you patience. There is actually a requirement to sleep at some stage. Both I and our support Vladan are in Europe where it is early.

But rest assured, if you email support[at]seomadesimple.org (which is the support email in you Warrior Plus thankyou page) we WILL get back to you and ensure you have the PR that you purchased.

Please be aware we are talking about the PR of the root, or home domain. This is explained in the FAQ. The root domain is http:// XYZ.edu (where obviously XYZ is the university website name). There is only one 'period' or 'full stop' in a root domain, just before the edu. Any other periods, you are not looking at the root domain.

The concept is so simple, I thought there had to be a catch. However, if you don't invest, you don't reap the rewards so I decided to go for a ten pack.

I'm on a MacBook Pro so was worried that there might be some Windows only stuff in the download - I needn't have worried. The download contained 10 PDFs as follows:

It may be that contents vary from download to download, but this is what was in mine.

Bought a PR7 from original offer and then took the upgrade (unfortunately I've maxed out my account and upgrade is now being processed as an echeck).

just grabbed one of the new package - same story, being processed as an echeck - will I still get the upgrade offer on the second batch in the days it takes to clear??

I bought about 3 weeks ago, has anyone been able to show that these blogs/wikis produce backlinks?, my articles are not even being indexed weeks later, can't find anything I've posted in the search engines either, I can't find any evidance that they are producing backlinks?
