A 30+ Page professionally designed Magazine Template and 3 bonuses valued at over $200...all for only $37??? Am I going insane?

Hi all,

I have been a part of this forum for quite some time, and thought it was time to give something back.

I am mainly known on this forum for my experience with magazine publishing and offline publishing of books etc.

One of my better selling products is my Magazine Template Package. Rather than go into detail here, I have created a special page where you can view details of the template, as well as order securely with Paypal.

I love this template and have not bought in the past because I don't have Quark or InDesign - and since they are just about the only software programs I DON'T have - hadn't really wanted to cough up the bucks for one just to use this....but I see you have a link on your site to an OEM company with a $60 price for InDesign.....

have you used this company? I have always been very wary of buying anything through these sites.......seems like it would not be a legal copy?

I love your template - trying to find a way to make it work for me ;-)

Is this template for a print magazine, or can it be used to publish an on-line version?

Hi Melody,

I have checked that site out, and as far as I can tell it is 100% legal. My customers have bought from them before without a problem. They get around the high pricetag by offering a version of Indesign that isn't the latest, and does not come packaged, so there is no delivery or production cost involved.

If you're still a bit wary, just shoot Adobe an email.

On the + side, the templates now come in Word format too, however the Indesign ones are easier to edit.

Hi Mike,

They were originally designed for an offline magazine which they can be used for. Alternatively, you can output the pages from Indesign to JPG or something similar and use the flip book component (3rd party tool) to make an online magazine like the catalogue example I have in the WSO sales page.
