Yes, people needs to have a Google Account. If use is not logged in, it will show popup to login. The basic is similar to Facebook's Like button.

I understand that this is a wp plugin, but some plugins produce an optional code to embed the reveal box on other pages as well.

So I am wondering, is there a way to use this on regular html pages (other than wp)?

Hi Michael,
If you are referring to short codes for embedding inside WP Page/Post then answer is Yes. That's exactly how it works.

If you are referring to pages outside the scope of Wordpress, then nope, you cannot use it for pages outside WP.

Hi,

Well, actually the main concept of the plugin is to hide content. Then get +1s and in return reveal the content. So, hiding content is a main concept of the plugin itself.

* If you have a Wordpress site, then yes you can place it on any wordpress Post or Page.

* The plugin allows you to set the URL you want to get +1s to. So, you can get +1s any page you want.

Plus, you can create as many instances of the plugin and place them on different pages with different URLs set.

I think the plugin has some sort of conflict with my template as its a custom made one, so there probably is no point in taking it further. Can you please be kind enough to raise a refund on it instead.

I can't see any post in your link but this works post by post basis (or page by page). You configure an instance of the plugin with your hidden content and put in a post/page e.g. [gplusr 4].

However, if you plan to display all 5 posts on the same page (one under another) I would not recommend you the plugin. There can be only 1 instance displayed on the site page at any time. Yes, you can have the plugin on multiple pages as long as only one plugin is displayed at a time.

You can watch the video tutorials (2nd post) to be more clear on how to use the plugin.
