I purchased this WSO a few days ago. For the minimal cost, I thought the value was excellent. The 100 page PDF is very thorough and well written. I especially liked the personal inspiring message of achievement that it includes that is very motivating.

I would have to say that it would definitely be worthwhile to dedicate half a day or a full day to sit down and read through the entire PDF a few times. It is newbie friendly and also a good reminder for an intermediate internet marketer.

The great thing about M.O.B.S. is that we teach you to do everything else for free. This is not to say that you couldn't outsource your work load (I do), but it's NOT necessary! The only real cost to you will be the time and energy you choose to put into this method to make it work.

I use HostGator for hosting (baby plan), and NameCheap for domains. These happen to be my choices, this is not to say they are for everyone, only what has worked well for me.

There are plenty of threads here on the forum which will shed some light on different options for you as well.

My review of M.O.B.S.

I purchased this WSO a few days ago. For the minimal cost, I thought the value was excellent. The 100 page PDF is very thorough and well written. I especially liked the personal inspiring message of achievement that it includes that is very motivating.

I would have to say that it would definitely be worthwhile to dedicate half a day or a full day to sit down and read through the entire PDF a few times. It is newbie friendly and also a good reminder for an intermediate internet marketer.

It is easy to see that Gary has a clear understanding of what it takes to create valuable sites that draw traffic, will be of use to the visitor and in turn will ultimately generate revenue. And isn't this 98% of the battle in producing a healthy online income?!

As far being a total stand alone solution I will mention this: you will need additional tools for your actual site creation. Gary provides a variety of free resources that get you well on your way but for the type of quality that he describes you will need a bit extra. For example if you have the MOBS manual and a copy of XSitePro2, then you are all set! Simply follow the MOBS manual to the letter and you will be well on your way; your only limitation will be as follows:
1) How creative/successful you will be in choosing your keyword/niches.
2) How much effort you will put into creating quality content(or outsourcing) to serve your niche/market.
Those two factors are totally up to you of course! Time to profitability can only be determined by your quantity of effort and quality of input.

I do not know Gary but he responded promptly to a support question I had about Wordpress via email so he is on the ball for support.

To sum up, I would recommend this as "Required Reading" for anyone who wants to be successful as an Internet Marketer. As someone who has gone through a ton of training and is approaching 7 figures in online sales I do not say this lightly! The content is current and I believe will remain current for some time...

No you don't. Of course the latter part of your question is very difficult to answer as there are a lot of factors to consider individually. For instance, commitment level, work ethic, and focus, just to name a few.

While I concur with your point above regarding using XSitePro2 to create a beautiful M.O.B.S. website, I must add that you can absolutely build quality and effective M.O.B.S. sites using WordPress as outlined within the course. In fact, 99% of my personal M.O.B.S. sites are built using WP.

That said, if one would like to implement their favorite website creating software to create their M.O.B.S. empire, by all means, go for it!

1) Both the M.O.B.S. course and GS2 are fantastic courses and can be used either independently or in conjunction with one another. Of course I am biased , but would recommend following the M.O.B.S. course as they are more authority type sites that generally fair better in the S.E.R.P.S. regarding ranking, traffic, and conversions overall.

Generally speaking, a fully functioning M.O.B.S. site will typically get at least 10 times more targeted traffic than a Sniper site organically. Think of it like Google Sniper on steroids. GS gives you essentially one page that is optimized around a specific keyword. M.O.B.S. sites give you 20+ pages that would be optimized around their own individual keywords, giving you the ability to rank on Google's page #1 for each of those keywords independently. That's why you get so much more traffic, and we all know, more targeted traffic means more eyeballs on your recommendations which leads to more conversions and money in your pocket. It's like having 20+ Sniper sites in one!

2) M.O.B.S. sites generally take anywhere from 2-6 days to create. *Note - Since M.O.B.S. sites typically have 20+ pages, the time frame mentioned previously is assuming you can either create your content fairly quickly and/or it is created for you.

In a perfect world, no. However, realistically speaking, you will get a percentage of your 20+ pages to rank on their own merit. To maximize your results, I recommend off page SEO (backlinking) to ensure your ranking juice.

Because of the nature of the system, your competition manageability is done BEFORE you create your site, so your backlinking won't be too extensive. This also of course depends on multiple factors such as niche, keywords, etc.

I teach both free and paid methods for backlinking within the manual.

I have a quick question and would like your take if you can. You mention your tattoo site (congrats on #1 ranking) and if you google your main keyword there are not any adwords that show up with the results.

You would be surprised at how many keywords you can find that don't, as of yet, have many people bidding for them via any paid methods. This doesn't necessarily mean that the keywords aren't viable and/or profitable.

I encourage you to do some more research for any of the main keywords on that site. You will be blown away by how many monthly searches they get, regardless of what keyword tool you are trying.

The key to a successful M.O.B.S. site (or any site that relies on keywords for organic traffic), is to make sure all of your ducks are in a row (regarding highly searched for keywords and competition manageability) BEFORE you create your site.

Long story short, I do mention Adwords viability as one of the criteria in finding a good keyword, but it is far and away not the only factor. Definitely NOT a deal killer assuming you have a highly searched for, buying keyword, and manageable competition.

Yes it makes sense. I did look at some of the other keywords and yea there is a lot of volume.

It has piqued my curiosity as to how much a site like that can make when there is really very little adwords being run. Can you give me an idea on how much that site brings in?

*Note* - That particular site is the website I use in the M.O.B.S. manual and for an example within this thread. I have not completely maximized the site (regarding getting all of the pages to rank), because I am actively using it as a case study to teach MOBSters how to backlink, optimize for on page SEO, etc.

At this point, that site makes me between $400 - $800 per month, and that is without all of the pages being on page one yet. A fully optimized M.O.B.S. site (one with all of your internal pages on Google's page #1), has the ability to earn much more.

Think about replicating the process, and you will begin to understand the power of the M.O.B.S. system.

Thanks for your inquiry. To keep it simple, you are correct about adding your affiliate links. When you "cloak" them, they are still your affiliate links, only they are disguised for more online security and to have them look better (not so long.)

Google the WordPress plug-in "pretty link" to see what I mean. That is the simple cloaker I recommend using within WordPress.

Is it necessary? Not at all. If it's still unclear, don't do it until you have a better understanding.

Yes, they are supported by the Search Engines.

Keyword research is always the most challenging part of the process, but also the most crucial. The good news is that in doing it properly in the beginning, it will pay off for you ten fold!

I recommend the paid version of WordPress, simply because you would own both the URL and be able to host the site on your own. Nothing worse than being at the mercy of someone or something else. If they wanted to take down your site, they could (wordpress.com), but not when you own it.

I noticed from my own experience that if you can get Google to trust you enough to enable sitelinks that your site will get a lot more traffic. However, I've only had one site with sitelinks and I haven't been able to replicate that success with any of my other sites.

Thank you for investing in M.O.B.S. Sylonious. I am glad you noticed that Google has indeed blessed that site with site links. That typically happens to my M.O.B.S. sites after about a year in the S.E.R.P.S.

I wish I could tell you why Google does that specifically, but I can't. I suspect it's a combination of doing things correctly, such as proper on-page and off-page SEO, internal page linking, first page ranking longevity for both the main page keyword as well as the internal pages, etc.

All I know is that Google LOVES M.O.B.S. sites, and who am I to complain?

Also, those site links appeared before I started using ActuallyRank, so that wasn't the specific reason. Currently that site has roughly 50 backlinks that I can attribute to ActuallyRank thus far.
