What is the difference between any random "link cloaker" or "landing page generator" and Affiliate Hijacker?

Well if you read the above, then you already realize that Affiliate Hijacker is far, far more than a "link cloaker" and a comparison to a link cloaker would be like comparing a horse carriage to the space shuttle.
Affiliate Hijacker in fact doesn't cloak at all - actually one of the features of Affiliate Hijacker is to present as much content to the search engines as possible without any "tricks".

A normal link cloaker only creates "empty" links with no content and you will only have a redirect to a vendor's page. This totally eliminates to use ANY link-cloaker software in conjunction with PPC advertising, eg. AdWords.

here to some questions in regards to support:


As many of my customers know, i always give personal support by email if there are any questions arising in regards to how to use AH.

One nice thing about AH is that it is really very easy to use since (basically) it literally only requires the input of three URLs in the web interface. If you also know how to use a FTP program (for example filezilla) and how to upload a file then you are already set and ready to use most of the features of Affiliate Hijacker.

It is beyond my scope to go in-depth answering questions in emails in regards to hosting, eg. teaching customers how to use CPanel (if needed) or how to use an FTP program, or the complex subject of .htacces or more general questions in regards to web hosting.

I do, however, try to answer those questions even if they cover things which are not really primarily related to the use of AH.

Recently, a small section was added on the membership site with the most asked "trouble-shooting" questions...and i recommend taking a look at this, maybe it answers some of your questions. You can find this on the member web interface.

The most heard question i always get is in regards to .htaccess and robots.txt - and i made the "mistake" in the book to use those and show some advanced techniques in conjunction with AH.

If you are new to hosting and having your own site, please ignore everything in the book in regards to .htaccess and robots.txt since this is only for advanced "tricks" and not at all necessary for getting your site to work!

Again: To get you started with AH, all you need is three URLs entered in the interface according to the affiliate program of your choice..and basic knowledge to upload the created script to your host afterwards.

I will, as always, answer inquiries by email, but sometimes it is difficult to respond to inquires as in "please create more videos" or "explain the usage of .htaccess". due to time constraints.

Your Online Tool is wonderfully simple to use, but I need help with something not in your manual. I don't expect you to provide this help because it's outside your program but maybe someone here on the forum can help point me in the right direction ....

My problem is, I need a basic and extremely simple tutorial on how to create subdomains. I need a tutorial that's been developed for the seriously technically-challenged. Aimed at people like me who have never even set up the most simple website.

Of course I've done a Google search for tutorials, but there's a lot there to select from. I'd appreciate recommendations or suggestions from any reader.

In regards to subdomains...you would need to read the help and online documentation to the Cpanel (or whatever control panel) your hosting provider uses.

MOST hsting providers use "CPanel"....creating subdomains is actually very easy, you just go in the hosting/maintenance interface at your provider. There you should see options to create sub domains.
You can then "hook" up domain-names to your sub-domains as they would be "normal" domains.
Using sub domains it is possible to host a number of sites under ONE account. You could eg. have one "more generic" main domain on your host, say, "mymarketing.com".

If you create sub domains, you can add subdomains like "productx.mymarketing.com" or "producty.mymarketing.com" - and you can make as many different sites as you want under ONE hosting account.

The "internal" difference on your host is only that the creation of the subdomains creates several new folders, corresponding to your sites. So..each new domain would have its own folder on your account.
In this folders you FTP then and upload the scripts as usual, you could have scripts for various products, the subdomains belonging to each of the products (== folders on the host)...and then upload the generated scripts in the right folder.

If you use Cpanel (which should be the case as with most PHP hosting) you could also do a google search for "creating subdomains using cpanel" or similar. Once you get the hang of it, its pretty easy.


On your domain-name provider (maybe dynadot.com or similar) you can then get the names you want for each domain and enter the nameserver etc. info which is given to you by your hosting provider.

At your hosting provider again, you then create/tie the subdomains to those names you registered before using the options in CPanel. I try to remember, but i think the names/domains must be registered first and the nameservers at your domain name provider being pointed to your host - and THEN on your hosting provider it is possible to create the subdomains.

I am aware that there might be tutorials out explaining this easier than i do

Came across AH by accident, I've spent a couple of hours reading about it, and just purchased.

I'm still learning web design so, this might not make total sense. But, I have to ask anyway.

Any integration limitations related to what actually creates the (my main) website before addng the sub-domain? Joomla, OSCommerce, WordPress, etc.

Going to read the manual and start building.

Another question, would you be able to provide a little mor detail regarding the path, location, that the uploaded files go on the server?

the exit popus still occasionally cause problems, besides the fact that they are overly annoying.

If i get examples of the offending sites with the exit code, i can add some lines into AH where it deletes those exit-stoppers out. For some codes i already did.
Send me the sites so i can check what URLs/code are used for the annyoing exit blockers and i can add this to AH.

you dont need any writing or designing skills - AH does everything for you.

Basically, all you need is three URLs which you then enter on the interface, and the ability to upload a little script to your webhosting. It is very simple. If you also want to add banners and whatever content, many of them you can just paste into the editor. (Similar to the advanced editor here on the forum)

What does affiliatehijack do -it worked for you?

My program/tool is for quickly making and cloning (affiliate) sites and putting banners, bonuses on it...and it also has nothing to do with stealing affiliate commissions and similar. I dont know the other program but i think its something totally different.
