On the contrary - as I said - it is (as are your other products I have purchased) certainly very high quality and certainly representative of over delivery (as always). I would never hesitate to recommend any of your products and I certainly would advise anyone considering this product to purchase without a second thought.

Doing an "upsell" is, of course, a very effective marketing technique so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised to see it used (altho the sales letter and thread comments stress the fact that the package is complete) since you do teach effective marketing techniques In all fairness (whether or not one agrees or disagrees with the use of OTOs with WSOs - and I have seen some strong opinions on both sides in the WF) I do think that you genuinely meant to add value to the product (also a good marketing practice of course) and the intention was to save people time with implementing a "critical piece of the equation" and not that (as it unfortunately sounded like IMHO) that if we do not purchase the OTO we are missing a "critical piece of the equation" - a subtle but important difference. My bad since apparently I reached the wrong conclusion. I recognize that this conclusion is probably reflective of my own particular pet peeve although I imagine I am not alone in this. I should have known however that you would not engage in such tactics.

So I guess what it comes down to is my personal bias against upsells that make me feel that if I don't purchase, what i have is not a "complete" package as opposed to making me feel if I choose to purchase the additional resource I can save myself some time and therefore likely be successful more quickly.

Each purchaser will of course have to decide how they feel about upsells in general and this one in particular even if it is a relatively small amount - esp if you have ever purchased Clickbank products or "guru" products
I. E., How much is your time worth and/or how much do hate writing?

All in all this is a very impressive package (with or without the OTO) and I appreciate your offering (more) excellent information at a reasonable price.

The OTO is a contentious issue for some, but that depends on your viewpoint...

From my perspective its not a 'One Time Offer' because it doesnt disappear as soon as someone leaves the page... its there for them whenever they decide to purchase it if they need it..

In that context I don't 'blackmail' or 'force' anyone to make a split second decision, which is the way many marketers use OTOs.

That is why I took issue with your comments in that I couldn't be fairer the way I present it..

Plus this 'special offer' upsell represent superb value for money.... its plug and play tweets, written using the principles outlined in 'twitter tapper' but 'done for you' so it saves considerable time..

I bought this WSO yesterday afternoon after procrastinating for several hours following receipt of Mao's email. I posted to clarify two points I wasn't clear on, and was highly impressed to receive a response from Mao within minutes.

I should also point out that these days I seldom buy any WSOs; I've been disappointed too many times in the past.

But, I've been aware for a long time I wasn't utilizing Twitter to my best advantage and Twitter Tapper really struck me as having great potential.

So, I made the purchase and spent yesterday evening reading and learning. I genuinely believe that I made the right decision because this morning I'm buzzing with anticipation to get 'stuck in'. I now know I can turn my multiple Twitter accounts into useful, go-getting sales machines.

Hi Mao -

I do agree that your offer is not technically a OTO since it is available from a tab in the member's area at any time - in fact the page header and the tab both say "special offer." I had mentioned that previously but forgot to in my follow up post so I am glad you pointed that out.

Unfortunately however, until I went back to reread I didn't realize it was on a tab. I have to admit I was focused on the copy that said: "if you take action right now I will let you have everything for just $17" and then the link at the bottom which says "No Thank You, Just Take Me To The Download Page." And of course the "critical piece of information" line that led me to a misinterpretation of the offer in the first place. The copy does say something about a "price increase" so you might conclude - if you thought that far - that it would be available later on but would (likely) cost more - but who is thinking that far when you are led to click on a button that says "No Thanks..." and at which point the "special offer" tab is not visible? While a decision may not be "forced" it is certainly "highly (and very cleverly I might add) encouraged."

Of course effective marketing is designed to create a sense of urgency and the offer does just that while (even if it not immediately apparent) leaving the door open to future sales. Actually I think it is good marketing to structure the offer that way - esp. if the product owner is confident of the value of the offer (which is the case and for good reason). If anything I would think more people would be likely to purchase once they realize what a time saver it would be after they have had a chance to go over the product. I don't suppose there is any way to, but (just curious) have you tried to test the conversion rate of telling customers upfront that the offer will be available later vs implying - however subtly - that the offer is only available "if you take action right now..." I guess the answer - even without testing - would be to imply that one needs to "take action now" (a bird in the hand) is more effective

I do hope that this does not come across as being critical of this WSO as it is not at all intended to be. On the contrary (despite my admitted personal biases) I feel that I have learned a VERY VALUABLE marketing lesson from a very successful and accomplished marketer. I think it would be wise to pay careful attention to the model you are using for future application

And, having realized that despite all the Facebook hoopla Twitter is not dead, I still have fulfilled my original purpose which was to learn how to use Twitter effectively and tap into the huge opportunity it represents.

So, I bought this one too. For $9.97, the information is CLEARLY worth many times more, so if you are reading this thread and still undecided, learn some interesting cool stuff from someone who is going out there and KICKIN A**doing it himself..

Is he going to say all the right things in his sales copy ALL of THE TIME... NO!.. do you?... I'm sure Mao will learn from this, like we all do.. BUY IT.. it's good.. that's all I can say!..
