| FlipDiva War Room Member | ![]() Hello Fellow Warriors: Let me ask you a question: How many websites do you have? If you’re like most marketers, you have at least a dozen – and maybe hundreds! And how much TIME do you spend setting up EACH of those websites? WordPress. . .Site Setup = Time SUCK! But it doesn’t have to be that way from now on! I have created a simple, easy-to-use script that will allow you to clone your websites in mere seconds. Use FlipMe Clone to setup a perfectly optimized site in under 30 Seconds! Just watch this! Now, you could buy one of the “other” cloning scripts or plugins, but why would you when FlipMe offers all this?
Site Flippers and PLR Site Creators Pay Special Attention! How many sites do you set up in an average week? And then, how many sites do you transfer? And how much time do you spend supporting your site buyers? If I added up the time I spend doing JUST these three tasks, it would amount to HOURS out of my week. Let me help you simplify and automate these monotonous tasks down to just a few clicks and keystrokes, and lessen your support burden down to nearly nothing! Quote:

This post is reserved for Frequently Asked Questions ![]() Q: Can I change the name of the blog_backup.zip file? A: No, and please make sure that it doesn't include any (#) in the name. What I do is create folders, and name my folder the name of the site that I'm backing up. Q: Do you support any other platforms other than cPanel? A: FlipMe Clone was written specifically for cPanel hosting. If you're on GoDaddy, 1and1, Plesk, etc. you would need to create your database and database user first, and choose the second option when cloning. It's assumed that you know how to use the platform that you're on. We do not offer training on anything other than cPanel hosting. |

Hi terri, Hope you don't mind me asking how your plug in compares to wpcyteclone and wptwin? Not in cost but in what it does. Thanks Vince |

I'm not familiar with how wpcyteclone works, but it's similar to wptwin with the added bonus that FlipMe Clone installs wordpress for you. Also, it comes in two parts so that if you're flipping sites or selling PLR sites, you can give away Part 2 so that your buyers can use it. You can't, however give away Part 1 which is the script that creates the backup. Terri

are you saying that all we need to do is have a different domain and we can duplicate the original site? what about the duplicate content? doesn't this affect ranking?

I use FlipMe Clone for my PLR blog installs and my customers love it because it's really easy to use. The other tools require that you either create a database or install wordpress but Flip does all that for you!

Hay Terri, I've been using BackupBuddy for a while and it works great. However, not having to create the databases is a big thing... I saw you only provide refunds if script doesn't work. I'm a bit worried about this policy because I need to migrate some really heavy sites (+50.000 posts, 1GB+) and not all scripts works fine for that. I purchased WP-Twin when it comes out but it can't manage this kind of sites. Always report some error related to server tomeout, I think. BackupBuddy has overcame this issue, although. Do you think FlipMe could serve my purpose? Thanks in advance, Leonardo |

For those of you who have requested options to back up the entire set of subfolders, or just the main blog folders, my programmer has just sent me an updated version with those options. I'm in the process of testing it now, and everyone who has already purchased will get this new update. Terri UPDATE: Any new purchasers will receive the latest script that has option on what to backup. All previous purchasers will receive the update link in your email. |

FlipMe Clone doesn't have any size limitations on it, so it should work just fine on your site. I've had some customers back up some huge sites without issue. If it doesn't work for you, you can either contact my help desk for support, or pm me here and I'll refund your purchase if I can't get it to work on a large site. Thanks, Terri

Hi Terri, I missed out on your previous FlipMe WSO ... but I'm glad you brought it back !I just wanted to make sure before I purchase that FlipMe will also copy over the exact Plugin settings. In other words, is it an 100% EXACT copy of your Wordpress website? Also, have you had any issues with it copying certain Plugins (like do some not play so well with FlipMe)? I think the most important plugin I want to make sure it copies exactly is WP Zon Builder (by another fellow Warrior). |

It will make an exact copy of your wordpress site including plugins. You now have an option to choose to just backup the wordpress files, or if you have subfolders, addon domains, subdirectories and want to backup those too, you can choose to backup every single thing at once. Hope that helps! Terri

Hi Terri, I just sent an email to your "Contact" before I realized there was a thread about this on WF, so please disregard that email if you answer this first. I'm very interested in your script, but have a few questions, just to make sure I understand how this works: - Will Flip Me Clone back up ALL files on a domain, or just the default Wordpress files? Several plugins that I use have required me to add various files to the root folder of my domain. Also, I have added an "Images" folder to the root of a few of my domains. I just want to make sure everything from a site will be backed up, regardless of what it is. I've tried a few other scripts like this but they have not worked because they did not backup the files and folders that aren't part of default Wordpress files and folders (if that makes sense). - I want to use Flip Me Clone to make a master site with all the settings and plugins that I like to use, then use the copy of this master site for creating new sites. This saves me from having to set up new sites from scratch. This would NOT be for simply transferring a site from one host to another (though I'd probably do that, too). As for WP tables, is it possible that a future update would allow us to choose the table prefix when using this for new sites? Thank you, Rochelle |

FlipMe Clone will back up those extra folders if you choose the option to backup all files and folders. If you have a root domain with other sites in different folders, that's not recommended, (unless you want to create a full backup) but it works perfectly if you keep your sites separated in different cpanels. Also, if you're backing up a subdomain, subdirectory or subfolder it will work - you only need to be concerned when backing up the main url. I have many master site layouts saved - the only caveat being that you need to kepp blog_backup.zip with that exact name, so I just store my part 2 files and blog_backup.zip in folders with the name of the master site. The only way to choose what prefix you want to use in your tables is to go in and create your database first. I don't have any planned updates to make that an option, but you never know.... Thanks, Terri

Terri, Thank you so much for your quick response. Sounds like this is exactly what I want (yeah!). And your explanation about keeping track of different master sites by folders makes perfect sense. I'm off to purchase the script. Please do put in my request for adding the ability to add table prefixes, as this is something I prefer to have as a security measure on all my sites, and I'm sure I'm not alone in this. Sincerely, Rochelle |

Terri, I have one more question, based on your response. I have an account that uses a cPanel, but is shared hosting. So, the primary domain for this account has a cPanel, and all my other sites share this cPanel. Will that be a problem? Rochelle Edit: My apologies - I did not see until now that you already addressed this up above. I'm off to purchase it |

Woo hoo! This did EXACTLY what I wanted it to do! And it took me all of 10 minutes to do it, from start to finish (including a few interruptions from my daughter) to successfully clone a master site and install it on a new URL for a new site. Perfect! I've tried several cloning scripts, including WP Twin, and this is by far the easiest and quickest of any I've used. Thank you so much!! |

Hi Terri Just bought today .Pleased to say i cloned my first site- cool!! Question. I am obviously changing content , meta , etc to avoid google duplicate content issues. The cloned site is in the same niche. Can i be penalised for same layout/plugins etc even if content is different. Any thoughts appreciated thanks Marty |

There has been some talk of Google penalizing you if every one of your sites was built on the exact same theme. When I flip sites, I use a wide variety of themes, but usually the same plugins. Thanks for the question - Terri

I would like to buy and use your script to back up my sites automatically. Would this be possible through a cron job, etc with the current version of the script? Thank you.

I just want to mention the great service I got with Terri's team. I had difficulty trying to clone one of my sites for back-up. It would only run for a while and then stop. After I submitted to support, I got a quick reply and they checked it for me, with suggestions. I emailed back and got another quick reply which required a closer look. It was finally determined that it was the host timing out because the site was large and had nothing to do with the flipme-clone script, but Terri stuck with me to find out the problem. The support was A-1 Jack |

Quick question. Sometimes, I have clients that I have built wordpress sites for that want to transfer to a new hosting provider, so they then want me to transfer their entire blog to their provider. I have been doing this task manually (perhaps there was an easy way, but I didnt know what it was). Can I use the Flip Me Clone to backup the site, and then install it on their new host? The reason why I ask is that their domain would obviously remain the same, but I just wanted to make sure there wouldnt be any issues. Thanks! |

Ok, I have to say that this WSO just freaking rocks!!! My goal was to have 100 Amazon product review sites up and running by the end of the year. I have been manually copying one website to create a new website. Since I have been doing this I have a 2 page step by step guide that I follow to get the new website up and running. I had gotten the copy to completion timeframe down to right at 2 hours. I purchased this WSO just hoping that it might save me a half hour or so in the copy process. I was totally wrong. This WSO saves me exactly 97 minutes! Today I was able to successfully clone and create 18 new websites today. Now my new goal is to have my 100 websites up and finished by the end of this month. This is perfectly doable with this WSO. I was real hesitant to purchase at first since it was .php scripts and not a plugin. The instructions are spot on perfect and even if you are not a .php programmer you will not have any problem using this script. The customer service is really outstanding. When I first started using it, I had problems and put in a ticket and it was resolved within 6 hours. I actually put in another ticket last night about 10 PM EST and it was resolved this morning and this was on a weekend. This WSO is extremly friendly to use when compared to WPTwin. Plus it is a better value due to the price. Plus this actually installs wordpress for you whereas WP Twin requires you to manually install wordpress first. This makes flip me much faster than WP Twin. I do have some recommendation for this product. 1) error check on database and user name to verify that it is 7 characters or less 2) require you to enter database password twice to make sure you didn't fat finger the password when you enter it. Password is masked with bullets so I could not see that I had mistyped |

Does anyone know if this will work on Dreamhost (they don't use cPanel)? I'd definately pick it up if I knew it would work. Unfortunately, the refund policy (refunds will not be issued unless my support team cannot get FlipMe Clone to work on your cPanel Hosting) prevents me from even giving it a try since Dreamhost doesn't use cPanel.

My support team has been very responsive to getting FMC to work on non-cpanel hosts, but if they can't get it to work then you would be eligible for a refund, of course. Terri

Needed to move my websites to another hosting company and I used flip me clone software to transfer all those websites without any problem, I am not very technical but their support was awesome and they did a good job. I previously had a website hacked and I lost all my articles but I now have a good back-up of my files if this should occur again in the future. |

Hi, Perhaps your support team should reply when a new customer sends then a ticket regarding installing your product on Plesk hosting? Here is one unhappy buyer. Joe |

I apologize, but there must be some misunderstanding. I personally replied to your help desk ticket the day it came in. For Plesk hosting, you simply need to create your database and database user first, grant your user permissions, and make sure that you record all the info. Then when you run flipmeclone.php, choose option 2, Database already installed, and fill out the fields with your information. Terri
