Thank You Warriors! My WSO will be ending tomorrow and I just wanted to give everyone a quick run-down of our progress. As you can see by our team donation page Carrie and I have achieved our minimum fundraising goal of $4400! If you click on each of our names you can see on the scrolling donation bar how much of our total consisted of Warrior Forum donations --> Over $2200!!! We also have a little money left over and will be donating that to other Michigan walkers during the next couple weeks who still haven't raised their $2200 minimum (in order to participate in the walk you need to raise at least that much). This whole experience has taught me never to underestimate the kindness of Warriors. I received donations from the following countries: United States United Kingdom Japan Phillipines Canada Turkey Hong Kong Australia Singapore Norway India Hungary South Africa I also made a lot of great new friends!  It just goes to show you how much this disease affects everyone--no matter where in the world you live.The walk will be taking place Friday Sept.26 through Sunday Sept.28. We're really hoping for good weather. You never know with Michigan! I'll be posting some pictures too afterwards and will probably take my Flip camera if there's not a good chance of rain. BTW--I'm not sure if I posted it before, but here's a video I made from pictures of our 2006 and 2007 walks: Wish me luck!! Amanda |
