Do you remember the last WSO you bought? When you pressed the PAY NOW button--how did you feel? Guilty? Worried? Anxious? Skeptical? Depressed?

When was the last time a WSO made you feel PROUD? SPECIAL? HEROIC?

If you think I'm crazy, that's OK--just keep reading.

For the third year in a row I'll be participating in the Michigan Breast Cancer 3-Day. Starting on Friday, September 26, 2008, my little feet will travel 60 miles over the course of 3 days.

Here's me last year on Day 3 at mile #47. Don't you like my hat?

My goal: To raise $2200 and make a difference in the war against breast cancer and to remember those who've both won and lost the battle. I'm one of the lucky ones--my mom is a breast cancer survivor. Unfortunately for my teammate Carrie, her mom didn't live to see a cure.

This year, as I walk the streets of Oakland County, I want to proudly represent the Warrior Forum. So--I'm looking for a Warrior to sponsor me for each mile I walk!

In exchange for your minimum donation of $17 you'll receive:

1. A nifty set of squeeze page templates (designed by yours truly).

They come in five colors: red, blue, green, orange, and pink. All templates contain a PSD file of the optin image so you can change the text to suit your needs as well as update with your own product image. You'll also receive the ever-popular drop-shadow template as a BONUS (cuz every WSO needs a bonus).

Ps. I hate to say this but theres a lot of politics involved in finding better medicines for cancer because the drug companies look out for themselves ($$$$$) and refuse to work together. My brother is a Dr in this field and had a report published in the medical journal about this.

Thanks to everyone who has included me on their lists and blogs. The support has been amazing and I thank you ALL!

My original fundraising goal has been totally blown out of the water! I've now raised the minimum $2200 necessary to participate in the walk. WHEW! I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders . . .

From here on out I'll be giving all donations to my teammate Carrie who is still a little short of her $2200 minimum.

Around January or so we set a combined fundraising goal of $5000. As of today we have a total of: $4002.34

We're getting there!

I have done 2 marathons in the UK for breast cancer, my friend telephoned me to ask if I would join her in doing the first one. Vicky had survived breast cancer and then months before the marathon she had surgery for bone cancer. She went and did the walk (it was a walking marathon) 2 more time, I was able to do it once again with her.

But the cancer had gone through her body, and finally she lost her life to cancer.

She was someone who was overweight, and struggled to get fit for it but was determined to raise funds.

Keep this open and if you raise more money even better, the charity can never have enough money to do the work they are doing.

I will continue to collect donations for other walkers--I know many who need it. There are some people who do every 3-Day walk in the United States. They need to collect $2200 for every walk they do. So--14 walks x $2200 = $30800. Amazing!
