AJ, I'll see if there's something that can be done to grab the keywords IF it's not a password field. There are some privacy reasons that need to keep in mind though. If you're also using Google Analytics on your page, and you're using the Google Site Search as your search field, you can see the keywords being searched for from within your GA account. It obviously won't show the videos connected to those keywords, but that could 'hold you over' until we get a feature added. By the way, we're adding the latest version # to the top of the download page... The software should auto-update within your members area when you go to the "WPClicks" main page. |

Yep. This is under the "Filters" section in the plugin. When you click that, you'll see all of the Search Keywords that brought users to your site, plus the number of visits each keyword brought.

Hi, I purchased today as well and agree with DanFromDownunder. Is it possible to post a video while explaining the full capabilities of the plugin? My wife has placed it n 4 blogs and while we see the traffic through another plugin - the WPclicks is not recording any traffic, so no video. She did sent a ticket to support though. thank you thank you Quote:

| Great. So that means, once setup, install, and configure all sites at once? Not configure each site in MU ?

Benjamin, Since each site in MU is separate, you would most likely have to set each of them up individually. We're actually still beta testing wpclicks with MU, so it's not "fully" compatible yet, but it should work... with some possible bugs that haven't been found yet. With all other Wordpress sites, Wpclicks works GREAT! |

Excellent plugin. The best WordPress plugin I have seen in YEARS! And I've seen a lot and used a lot. I bought the Dev. version of this one. |

Hi Matt, Nice product here. Will try this one. Is there a way I can turn the "camera" not to the browser but towards the person browsing? lol. Cheers. |

Matt.....a few questions about the plugin: 1) Do the video recording slow down the page speed load times of the site using it? Is the video recording client side, or server side? If server side, then who's server, yours ( ) or mine ?2) Does this plugin leave any type of footprint like Google Analytics code does? Or is the code that is inserted into each Wordpress page generic or uniquely random - so it can't be tracked? Thanks |

The basic way that it works is that the visitor movements and clicks are tracked and stored in your WP database. Then, this info is retrieved from ONLY when you want to view the video playback. In fact, it's not "technically" a video like an mpg, avi, mp4, or anything like that. So the storage amounts are not very much. We use the stored data and combine that with our script that knows how to take that data and put it into a "player" so that you can visually watch it. So the only time that data is retrieved is when you're wanting to actually view the specific visit. Thus, it won't slow anything down... so no worries there. About the code... it's unique to the site but there are some parts that are the same if you don't change the name of the "wpclicks" folder. If you leave it by default, then it will be wpclicks. But feel free to change that if you want. The other code that's inserted are pretty general terms. To be completely honest, I wouldn't be worried about any sort of "footprint" with this. There's no negative effect from having this code on your site. |

Here it is again. Glad you got it, Matt, but there was more: Create a FAQ page that displays only the questions and not the answers - you know, the kind where the visitor has to click the question to see the answer (I use Elegant Themes that has this feature included for creating FAQ pages) - and this way you can see which FAQ questions the visitor clicked on. This will tell you A LOT about what features or benefits the visitor is really interested in. Just make your FAQs really comprehensive (a lot of FAQs). Plus, I'm thinking having hidden information on product pages and even sales pages that have to be clicked to be shown would be good use for this, just as with the FAQ pages. I tested this out already, and people scan FAQ and click on hidden info they really want to see. It helped me change up a few things and I made three $100 sales in a day from the changes, and before that I was making ONE $100 sale about every other day. So for me this definitely increased my conversion rate and in a very short time, but you have to pay attention to recurring actions of your visitors to see a pattern. Then you can make the right changes.

I've installed this on a WP Network with 20 sites. Configured each site and installed separate licenses for each site but WPClicks doesn't work with MU at present. Contacted Matt who had a look and am now waiting for an update.

This IS a form of web analytics software, similar to other analytics software programs that collect stats about their users browsers, OS, keyword search terms, number of visits, etc etc to help increase their site's usability and site conversions. Any text fields where a visitor would input keystrokes is not shown in the videos. This obviously protects for any passwords that are being entered. No passwords or sensitive data about the visitor is collected and stored as an analytic. "Searched for keywords" may be stored as an individual stat (for example, if a visitor is on your site searching for a specific "blog post", then the keywords they searched for are stored as a term) but are NOT shown in the videos. No keyword strokes are shown. Instead, they show up as random ***** symbols in the videos). The site owner (whoever installs WPClicks) is solely responsible for their own privacy policies, what they include in them, and the verbiage used. We have no control over the site owners' (customers) websites, so that is 100% up to them to create whatever policy (or lack thereof) that they want to create. But one important note, this is by no means spyware and nothing is secretly installed on a visitors' computer to store their data. The only recorded data is what happens on the site owner's website. NOTHING ELSE from that visitor's computer is recorded. Hope this clears things up for you. Matt

How much MySQL database space does this plugin need for a 1000 visitors? I am asking this because for instance Piwik database grows to several GBs on the higher traffic websites. And if you use this plugin with the same database as Wordpress it may grow to GBs too? I definitely do not want to see Wordpress database so big. Of course maybe there would be no need to store more than 30 days recordings. Also, is there any way to store plugins data on a separate database? |

Hi, there's really no short answer for that question because there are a lot of factors involved, like the content on your site, the amount of time the visitor stays on your site, the number of pages they viewed, etc etc etc... Also, not all of the data is stored in the databases. So this helps with speed and performance. I can tell you this though: We have NEVER had an issue with speed or space on any site that we have WPClicks installed on. And a lot of our sites receive a ton of traffic daily. What we typically do is delete data over 30 days old. Sometimes even older than 14 days old. If you're using WPClicks and analyzing the videos regularly, there's really no need to keep data over 30 days old. thanks |

sjc999, That email wasn't targeted specifically only for "Warriors". And this Warrior Special Offer is for Warriors only. That's what the WSO forum is all about. I actually plan on removing this WSO really soon or increasing the price though since it was more of a "beta launch" for WPClicks, now that the software is available to everyone (not just warriors). Glad you found the WSO though so you can grab the discount. ![]() cheers! Matt |

There was a cool little plugin on WF about the beginning of Aug that is no longer available as a WSO. I have not used yet it but it would fit well into the scenario above. Here it is non WSO - NOT an affiliate link - wpslide2see.com (see the many demos) Do not take this as a reco of the specific product (wpslide2see). I'm sure there are many such around. I bought this one for the multi uses in a single plugin. To Matt - I'm speechless and in awe. And it could not have come at a better time as I am building a new site way outside my normal genre and have NO IDEA of how the traffic will flow. THANK YOU! ;-)

Hey Matt Thanks for a great product! I have about a dozen sites and have installed WPclicks on all of them. I think it would be a great help if you add a feature of scheduling deletion of visitors' data older than a period of our choosing. For example, I would like WPclicks to delete visitors' data older than one month automatically without me opening the dashboard and deleting it manually on every site. |

Hey Matt!!! Great plugin man. I was just thinking about it..... What if the visitor of most visitors are using Anti Virus software that blocks sites from accessing. I have antivirus software that will give a popup warning on the bottom right of my screen telling me there is some kind of tracking going on behind the scenes, and it will block the site from loading up asking me if I want to continue. Does your plugin go around this or something? THanks |

Hey Jason, analytics programs like WPClicks won't be affected AT ALL by anti-virus software because it is NOT "tracking" things in a malicious manner that an anti-virus software would notice. It's legitimately tracking site data on visits, similar to other analytics programs and server logs... just in a "visual way". |

I do get how this plugin is great due to that fact that you can watch where someone is mousing and clicking. But I'm trying to understand a little better before I buy. How would you determine if placement of ads and sign up forms would do better in certain areas of the site? I think what your answer might be is through testing and being able to see where people are more willing to mouse over in certain areas rather than other areas right? |

I just bought, installed, activated and navigated throughout my site. When I go back into my admin and to the plugin I don't see any videos created off my visit. I should mention that I was logged out as well. How long does the plugin take to put together the video maybe? Thanks. Update: I just tried recording my actions with my reviewazon plugin deactivated and your plugin works! But with my Reviewazon plugin active it doesn't |

I just wanted to mention that the UNLIMITED licence is in fact 999 and you need to generate a key at the mother site to activate each plugin. The developer licence seems to be 1999 keys instead, but again still seems to need an activation key per domain. It wasn't a deal breaker for me, but it is an important "detail" |

The reason we put "999" in the members area is due to a technicality with programming. As soon as any unlimited customer reaches installing WPClicks onto 999 sites, just come to our support desk (iNet Innovation, Inc. - Kayako SupportSuite Help Desk Software) and submit a ticket with your receipt and we'll give you another 999 licenses... and so on, until you don't need anymore. If you reach 999 licenses, you've got a TON of sites. haha! Matt
